For sure. I was 8 years old and I remember watching it LIVE as I was a Cale Yarborough fan. I told this to Donnie and he said “I knew there was a reason I didn’t like you” 😂 jokingly

But for a blizzard and nothing else to watch NASCAR might have become just a memory. I have been listening to the races on the radio and this was the first time they aired one on television, it was cool AF. 😊

Bobby Allison sticking his nose in was the problem. He instigated the whole thing. Cale actually played football and was a great running back. Not sure about the rumor of his competing in golden gloves boxing but regardless both Allison's bit off more than they could chew if it wasn't broken up.

Back in the day there was wrestlin’ and racin’ in Charlotte that was all I watched on tv. This race fit right in to both 😂

Donnie is a story teller. He crashed ole Cale. Because he was almost always in the way. I like Bobby and Donnie. But boy is he a big talker when the other guy isn’t around to tell his side of the story.
