I don’t understand. If Jesus laid hands to heal, then how is this any different? I have got a word for this coming up that reki practiciners will be called to Jesus, after this they will be sent to heal the sick. I too quit recently for almost a week and on day 6 fell back into the old habit. Forgive yourself, and pick back up your journey of quitting where you left off. One day to slip up doesn’t take away from the other days you made that choice to not smoke. I believe in you!!! Today makes 9 days for me since I slipped up. I was physically attacked which left DEEP bruises, gouges out of my skin, scratches, a burn, etc. At the time, I didn’t understand it fully but when once I realized that I was in the process of falling in love with God, the attacks made perfect sense. Same! I didn’t have sleep paralysis but I kept feeling intense fear and feeling like I was seeing things at night. It got so bad that I couldnt sleep in my bedroom. I would lay on the couch with all my lights on until the sun came up and then sleep in the day light. It’s gone away now but I always wondered why that started happening right when I sincerely turned my life to Jesus. I remember telling satan… is that all you got? I’m never turning back.

We are not supposed to deal with spirits. If it is not from God it is demons pretending to be good spirits.

Sleep paralysis isn’t evil it’s actually the first stage of being able to leave the body. It’s scary because things will manifest to scare you but God did not give us the spirit of fear. Nonetheless good that you are with God.

Yes i experienced it when I was about 4yrs abd it manifested itself as a really black shadow. It just stood there and fed off my fear. Now I’ve been delivered but fear is definitely a spirit.

Took me 15yrs to fully come back to Jesus, less for my brother. The Lord never took his hand off either of our lives, despite us deserving it, and I know a lot of it was because of my parents/grandparents prayers! He gave me visions and dreams of how He's protected us both from harm and death numerous times without us having any clue. Now we both will have very powerful testimonies of how we were delivered from a multitude of different things including addiction, drugs, homosexuality, adultery, lust, pornography, alcoholism and more. Moral of the story, DON'T STOP PRAYING AND PLANTING SEEDS IN YOUR UNSAVED FAMILY MEMBERS' LIVES! The Lord can use their redemption and their deliverance story to reach a multitude of others who are in the exact same situation they were in.
