I Had My Cheating Wife Look At My New Girlfriend, But She Couldn't Take It... 

An interesting story and it certainly held my attention, but ultimately I really don't know what to do with it or how to feel about it which makes me think it was kinda stupid. While we are sometimes in the cheating wife's head during the course of a cheating story, it's not the most common perspective that we usually experience. We definitely were in her head in this story and, after her dénouement, about all I could feel was that she wasn't really responsible for what happened but she was extra stupid and hadn't done anything to PREVENT it from happening. What would ordinarily be called an AP, in THIS story, he's pretty clearly more of a grapist than anything else. Honestly, if I was her husband and had the gift of omniscience so knew every detail of what had happened to her and how it had played out, I wouldn't have known how to react. It's like she stupided herself into infidelity. And one certainly can't say she enjoyed it in that she was blacked out at the time. Seriously, she could probably have made an even argument for grape. And then she makes her situation infinitely worse by just lying continuously through her teeth and stonewalling her husband where she could have at least claimed a bit of innocence. And then her husband cheats on her, I suppose to get even, and the couple manages to reconcile insofar as the infidelity math is in a balanced equation. This doesn't work for me at all, of course, because I'll never accept any legitimacy to infidelity math; we both cheated on each other so we're equal. NOBODY is admirable or even legitimate in that situation. And the truly lamest part of it all comes from the fact that they come to ground with each other by proclaiming they didn't mean to hurt each other or damage their marriage, which is what EVERY cheating person says when they get caught, and it's not any better here than anywhere else. So kind of a crap story in my opinion.

Brutal story of a wife worming her way out of admitting she cheated by finding enough doubt in her husband's actions to force him to conceed. Again cheater wins.

In the early 80's my wife had to be out of town on business. When I picked her up at the airport I said only one quiet line. " I know where you were supposed to be, where you actually were and who he is.". I said no more. She looked stunned but knew better than to lie so she remained silent. Considering that I was a Private Investigator she should have known better. 2 weeks later she walks into our bedroom and sees I have her very best friend bent over the bed talking her from behind.
