Not to mention Violet is the mother of Jenny and screech. They were separated at birth and placed in the social care system. Screech killing Jenny not knowing she was his sister.

And that's just the most terrible detail of this whole story! 😢 Honestly I only realized that that is what he was alluding to the second time listening to the song, which was after my recording. I read from some other comments here that, unlike Jenny and Screech, Violet is not based on a real story but only Ren's creation however. So, at least, that piece makes me feel a teeny tiny bit better. Loved having you on the Q Ship exploring Ren's Tale of Jenny and Screech 🎶

You need to explore the fun Ren. Although many Renegades love getting reactors to react to this one (for obvious reasons) it's one of the darkest stories he has. You should check out Losing it, Love Music #3, What You Want, or The Hunger as they are a much lighter and funner version of Ren.

NO!!! It's not more important that her mental health, Ren created a great piece of art here, and it's an important story to be told, that doesn't mean it's an important story for all people to have to watch, you don't know what trauma people have suffered, you don't know if they didn't survive a situation exactly like this. And if you're out suggesting Jenny n Screech to new reactors, you better be giving them a trigger warning that there is graphic descriptions of DV(domestic violence) and murder. She' the 5th person I've seen in just over a month struggle with the content of this video, 2 of them had complete breakdowns during Violet's Tale and had to turn the camera off. Have some compassion.

Sorry, It takes MUCH more than yours and others unthoughtful comments to upset me, your about as worrisome to me as a fart in the wind. I was extremely polite the first 3 times I’ve asked Renegades to give a heads up, that time has passed. I tell you what, after you’ve spent 6 months in a career i’ve been in for 27yrs, one that will give you a front row seat to the real life Jenny n Screeches of the world a couple times a month, and human suffering like you can’t imagine almost daily, come talk to me, and we’ll see who’s calm and who’s not, ok darlin’? Toodles.

@@sunshynff thanks for responding. After some reflection time I have decided to not judge you for laying whatever this is on me. Just to let you know this is the first time I have ever watched a reaction from this particular lady and I was genuinely upset for her and her reaction and wanted to tell her well done for going back to it. I’ve never actually requested any reactors to react to the Tales. They are indeed triggering and a lot of people have lived some parts of that life. Myself included. There is a nicer more non judgemental way of communicating with people. In your line of work I would gather you are aware of that. I genuinely hope that you are ok and if you wanted to talk about anything then I am more than happy to with you. I would also maybe consider not watching more reactions to the tales yourself as reactions seem to trigger you. Look after yourself!!

Huh, it was many moons ago, but I remember being so full of myself and unaware of how much I made everything about me. Hopefully you'll grow out of it, because I truly believe that you believe you're being kind and did nothing wrong, and probably are actually a kind person, but you're being very condescending to me, and uncaring towards the reactor, it's my first time here too. I'm sorry if people have treated you with kid gloves your whole life or whatever made you think I was triggered in anyway, but if some stern words in a comment section bothers ya, you're gonna have your hands full with the real world out there, sorry to tell ya. I'm sure you'll have a hard time believing this, but one of the kindest and most generous people you'll every meet, I shed greed and ego long ago, it wasn't easy, and what time I have left on this little green and blue speck of dust floating in a sun beam, I have dedicated to helping my fellow humans. But the sun is setting on my time here, I don't have time to play nice, and hold people's hand to do the right thing, or not do the wrong thing, but I did take the time, to be nice, the first 3 times I engaged with fellow Ren fans, I'm sorry you had to be the fourth, but it wasn't personal. I know people, and I know when people feel like others care more about their reaction than they do about the reactor themselves, why do you think I got a thank you from Bessy, the reactor? Hmmmmmm, just sayin'. Have a safe and happy weekend, and tell someone in your life how much you appreciate and love them for no other reason than you're just happy they're in your life. ✌💚

It took me a long time to be able to watch this again. So, I understand your reaction. However, after a few weeks, I summoned the courage to watch it again and I now consider it a master piece. So, I suggest you give yourself time, and *now* knowing the ending, watch it again.

SO much to take in with this brilliant Shakespearean tragedy. I get frustrated with some reactions when it's missed how he describes Jenny....why would a 14 year old be walking the same street a 1000 times, in high heel shoes? Almost no one seems to catch that. Also, for "Screech's Tale", it seems that almost no one catches that Screech's girlfriend and his friend Patrick, happen to be "busy", or not available, at the same time. Consider why. Maybe they were together? Patrick wasn't home...was he with Screech's girl at her place and that's why she was "busy"? It adds a whole other layer to the story. Also consider that Jenny and Screech were born side by side, and essentially died side by side, one street apart. Born on the same day (2005), died on the same day (2019). An entire family, mother and twins that never knew each other, wiped out by a cycle of violence. An abused mother, a 14 year old prostitute, and a 14 year old thug/murderer. There's sheer brilliance in the line "please let my baby stay alive"....at this point you don't yet know that it's twins, but "baby" followed by "stay" can also be read as "babies" because the S in "stay" isn't necessarily separate from "baby". Say it out loud- you'll understand what I mean. Such a clever way to hide the twist reveal while still giving it up at the same time...if you can catch it. Brilliant.Powerful stuff. In "Violet's Tale", the way he uses the acoustics of his environment to accentuate the song is absolute brilliance too....and btw, Ren is self taught on the guitar. Just one of many instruments he plays including drums, bass, & piano.The man is truly special. A prodigy. From what I understand, he wrote the first 2 songs after reading an article about a very young man murdering a young woman in London, he didn't write "Violet's Tale" until a few years later and that one was of his own making. He said that there are 2 songs so far that he wrote, that he knew in his gut were special. "Hi Ren" (of course) and "Violet's Tale". (He was right on both counts imo.)

There's nothing to "catch" about Patrick. Ren talked about Patrick and Shreech's girlfriend in social media when promoting the song, but there's not nearly enough in the song itself to reasonably make that assumption. Any time two people are busy at the same time doesn't automatically mean they're busy together.

Hi ! I had to watch it again and again in order to digest the emotion of this shakespearian drama. It is a good way for teating a trauma. To expose yourself to this trauma (in safe and good conditions, maybe with somebody at your side), so that your brain can process it. Otherwise we expose ourselves to backlashes. Maybe...

Yes of 3 children, all adults and on their own now, I have one who is overly sensitive to a variety of life ills. Knowing she too has discovered Ren I told her "The Tales are NOT for you" otherwise explore his content freely. She thanked me and is happily exploring everything else. I am a mom who never advised my kids on their chioces, from cartoons to online games to those they dated. So, If I do offer advice, as adults, they listen.

Yeah the first time I watched it I stopped it right where you did. I was like of course you like it you sick Mfr. when I finally re watched it I got mad again when he said tragedy or miracle, I was like what miracle? But I finished and ofcourse it blew my mind and now I have seen it a couple hundred times.

The frame rate on the video you are reacting to is extremely low. I don't know what's causing it on your end, but it is pretty distracting. Hopefully you can make the changes to correct the issue.

To whichever "RENegades" requested this song, F you for not giving her a trigger warning, this has been discussed in several other comment sections for reactions to this song. This is the 5th person I've seen in a little over a month have a real issue with the killing and DV(domestic violence) in this video, Bessy Q didn't seem that bad, but who knows how she felt after the camera turned off. Two of the reactors I saw totally broke down during Violet's Tale and had to turn the camera off. You can warn new reactors that the video contains depictions of DV without spoiling anything, my god, do you really want to put your enjoyment of seeing someone blindsided, over someone's mental health well being!!??
