but you gotta say it would be hella funny if in the anime one villain just went draw phase?, standby phase?, main phase?, in response to your cards activation do i activate phantom knight's rank-up-magic force and then just proceeded to otk on the following turn with every appearance of that villain just being a 5 second duel that he always wins with an ftk. and then they have to somehow try to stretch those duels to 90 minutes with nothing but talking
Just so you know, it's only the Phantom Knights Rank Up that can do all these shenanigans, almost all raidraptor rank up can only be used for raidraptor monsters
I say that setting up an unaffected towers and passing like Ultimate Falcon is way less cringe than setting up a board of seven negates and floodgates preventing your opponent from playing the game and actually having fun. I think it's better for the game to set up a board that says come at me bro then to set up a board that says no you can't do that you can't do any of that your entire hand worthless. The game needs less negates and more big tough hard to remove payoffs
This support is amazing, and Rise Rebellion Falcon is just a work of art, not to mention you summon this on your opponents' turn with the new rank up card and wipe their board clean plus burn, love to see it. I play pure raidraptors along with a small pk engine, nothing too crazy.

I'm hella happy for this! Been wanting to build them for casual play, picked up the deck, so now we get a huge wave of support, with a new Towers, and an actual good card to go into with Raiders' Knight to then search Skip Force, go into Arsenal Falcon, and from there rank up into new Towers! WOOOO!
How is Runick cringe if you don't play stun? Very interactive deck, no floodgates, clear defined weakness. Shitting a towers on the field after 3 years of comboing isn't what I call interesting to play against.
No, hating cards like Launch/Reprodocus/Bishbalkin is understandable, because those are the real problem cards that even limit future card design, and not a super hard-to-summon boss from a casual archetype. If you have ever played PK/RR you know Launch targets have always been Ophion/Azazzoth/Kali/VFD and not Rebellion/Requiem since PK Force and now RR Force are MUCH BETTER RUMS to use.

While I agree Kali yuga deserves the hate because it's a degenerate card with how it's been used, so does calamity, as well as the runick engine, purrely making a towers that can spin into the deck, rikka making an almost unbreakable board with just 1 loci, lab using eev or dbarrier and many others... The combos itself are easy to interrupt and you have to wait main phase 1 to activate the rank up so idk about you but I'd hate on many other cards in the meta right now
I genuinely wonder what he expects from decks. I can understand being sick of towers or kali yuga degeneracy, but what kinds of effects do you want out of a boss monster for the deck then? And I mean effects that wont just make it useless or weak.
From a design standpoint it’s fun to make rank up plays, also being able to play under towers monsters > you can’t play yugioh boards. The problem is Kali Yuga, not the birds, the birds are actually pretty cool and unique.
Launch is cringe. Its targets have always been Ophion, Azazzoth, Kali, VFD and now the deck has 2 MUCH BETTER upgrades to the point you don't even use it for your combos since PHRA.
Hey now... I can get people not like the Cali Yuga play (I also hate it), but Ultimate Falcon and the new Rank 13 got nothing on Expurrely Noir on how easy it is to bring out. I don't think they deserve the hate.
What some people don't know is that the deck could summon Kali Yuga for a long time, nothing new is to blame for it being played, it just makes it easier to do since now you can extend if they imperm the link 2 that was the biggest choke point in the deck before. You can play the deck without Kali and still end on some pretty good boards, people just use it since it's an easy way to instantly end the opponents turn just like how synchro decks do with King Calamity, the difference being that this one is brickier since all the RUMs in deck can mess up your hands most of the time.
So would he like the deck without Kali Yuga? Thats really the only major problem that I see them even being able to rank up into anymore. Like the rank 13 is good in the sense that it actually does something to meaningfully interact with the opponent and having 500 more atk than ulti falcon, but I feel like it wouldn’t be problematic use it for its rank up eff. It still triggers off of stuff like the newer pk RUM, so you don’t even need to run the trash new one. Hopefully it’s good without Kali Yuga, but besides that, I am also kinda rightly afraid.
If you ban Kali Yuga the deck won't even play Launch since PK Force and RR Force are much stronger upgrades. So instead Launch itself should be banned since it is only used for degenerate plays, like Reprodocus and Bishbalkin. The issue of the new support is that it dark-locks the entire turn with the extenders, preventing the early Cyber Dragon Infinity play. The new Ultimate Falcon is a nice blowout card but ceiling was never the deck's problem, it was fragility (playing over disruption) and unfortunately this support won't make it that much better than D/D was during BaCh format. Blackwings are on the same boat, some of the highest ceilings in the game but easily lose to both Nib and early disruption.
@@Xenonfuji No it wouldn't be. The problem would still exist as soon as the next good DARK Xyz that shouldn't be supposed to be usable is printed. Also you are mistaken about Kali Yuga, if D/D was able to compete (not a case especially due to Bystials), Kali would have been an incredible answer to Purrely/Lab/Rescue and other backrow-oriented decks since High Genghis is not an OPT negate on spell/traps and Kali Yuga effectively seals the deal as a really hard-to-summon game-ender boss.
@@babrad I used to play d/d/d. They wouldn't make kali yuga. They'd rather thrust into harpies than use Kali yuga. Remember that Kali yuga negates both sides. Kali yuga ends both turns when it's made, and you need to use high Genghis + Siegfried just to make it.
@@Xenonfuji The problem is unless you run thrust and the needed targets, your engine has NO OUTS to multiple stuff in every format since BaCh. Kali is not just a costly HFD, it also outs Noir and other hard matchups the typical D/D extra deck of D'Arc + Baronne + Zeus (i assume you understand what i mean) cannot out (unless you brick yourself with Thrust + its targets, since Thrust doesn't get any extenders for the deck except from Small World) Even some top lists sided Kali Yuga. The point isn't Kali Yuga itself. It's that as soon as a good DARK Xyz is released, Launch can immediately become a problem. Brave Strix/Bardiche are generic enough to give you Launch in any DARK/Rank4 spam deck. I have both decks (every Arc V deck) and Launch has always been used for Ophion, Azazzoth, Kali (afer arsenal) and VFD (especially in OCG Orcust when it was banned here) and almost never for Rebellion/Requiem especially after PHRA gave the deck PK RUM that it's a direct UPGRADE. Now they even got a better RUM.
Actually i play it pure and its a really big board(without kali yuga) and pretty impossible to deal with. I won against a rescue ace pulling out the rank up and i've done 8000l damage burn lol
With this support deck becomes fair deck with deacent end board nothing too crazy and crazy enough 15 raidraptor cards. Goal of the deck is summoning 2-3 towers and making 2-3 negates with a lot of follow up I don't know how you find that "cringe"
I Play that Deck and i Play a Version wothout kalyiuga but tbh at First i was to stupid to bring him put so i just stopped playing him but now i can Make a board with 5 omni negates and a boardwhipe
the cards is fine (unaffected by all is abit annoying) is the player choice to put generics unfun cards into the deck and use it. like OCG peoples hate VW because Shenshen is a b*tch...but is just shenshen then is not that bad...but the play choose to use ShenShen and make VFD with it.

Kali Yuga is literally a turn skip lmao. One with almost no counterplay outside drawing a Kaiju. That's super cringe and i'm saying this as a former RR player. RR in general even outside of Kali Yuga is just a break my board deck. Wins aren't satisfying unless you're that much of a sweat to where you get euphoria off of non interactive games

Launch should have never been unbanned and should be rebanned.

Even more so in OCG where you have Fire King, a deck with no floodgates or turn skips. It just has a lot of destruction (which has always been its thing). It's win con is the xyz Garunix Eternity and its amazing grind game (alongside Promethean Princess and Amblowhale), yet none of that is degenerate. Fire King imo is how good decks should be structured. Strong but not degenerate. Then you have the rapidly falling off Centurion who's only goal and only way to win is quite literally turn skipping your opponent. And if it can't? It loses almost on the spot. That is what I would call cringe and is a reason I do not respect the deck at all. Compare Eternity's monster nuke vs Centurion's turn skip turbo. You're telling me that they are equal in that regard? People would complain less if every deck was as well designed and strong like Fire King is atm ocg side
IVE BEEN ASKING FOR RAIDRAPTOR SUPPORT AND FKING FINALLY WE GET SOME. That rank 5 is sadly very mid when it had such amazing potential (why is it only one effect per turn???) but ig beggars can't be choosers (bullshit). I also hope they ban Kali Yuga so that BW and RR don't just spam that floodgate bs anymore

Also no, Kali Yuga is not the degenerate card here. Launch was, is and always will be. That card literally limits future card design for Dark Xyz since it can cheat them out for free, and not only it has been used for these degenerate plays, Konami itself gave the card 2 (not just one) incredible UPGRADES (PK Force in Phantom Rage, RR Force here) that are both balanced and PROMOTE YOUR DECK'S PLAYS INSTEAD OF CHEATING OUT other Archetypal cards PK/RR aren't even supposed to use.

Really funny how you’re advocating for “promoting your deck’s plays” though when you just said “the deck’s biggest problem is the Dark lock because Infinity.” Mind telling me where RR is written on that card? Soul Shave has literally the exact same issue but for rank 6s; the second they make a busted rank 6, RR will cheat that out. If anything (I don’t condone it but) at least Kali Yuga makes more sense cause they were all on the same team in the anime
@@danha3107 soul shave force at the very least requires not only a Raidraptor, but also ranks up 2 stages to make stuff a bit tricky, while it is NOT a quick effect that fundamentally has the potential to break stuff on its own. So by answering you back with a question, would you consider the Kali Yuga play if you could do it on your turn?
Kinda agree with Josh. Love the Main Deck design, just wish the end goal wasn't a degen "lol you can't play the game" endboard. Personally, I think the Rank-Up magics are fine, but Kali-Yuga (and other such cards, see Calamity) should be banned. It's just not fun to be unable to play Yugioh
