It's funny that the fan video happened, and then it TOOK Six years for an actual one to be made. And then it had to be improved in terms of Sonic models, because TEETH!

I love the Amy stage and the music accompanying it ^^ The music for Lagoon City Act 2 is another banger. I forgot to mention this in my comment about the bosses, but yes. Having to wait to land a hit is bs.

11:37 on the contrary that gimmick originated from Sonic 2 MS/GGs Aqua Lake Zone of which this zone seems to be inspired by. its funny, i was actually reminded of the Twinkle Snow boss from Sonic Advance 3 when i first encountered the Lagoon City boss. as for the game gear/master system games u haven't done videos on there's sonic chaos, sonic triple trouble and for some reason, sonic blast (not 3d blast, this is totally different). and i guess knuckles chaotix for the 32x is an option as well even if it hasn't been properly re-released on modern systems to this day

I got some serious aqua lake zone vibes here (sonic 2 master system / game gear)

This level in particular reminds me of Kirby levels.

I'm the kind of player that never uses missiles in metroid or subweapons in castlevania when things are designed to be beatable with the main mechanics it feels like these bosses are designed to encourage use of the emerald powers, and it might be other players like me that are complaining about waiting because we aren't as willing to "cheese" them with the clone attack or burst, they just kinda feel almost like cheating
