the issue here is Malgus wasn't lying. not once did the jedi master refute any of the machine's functions

Malgus is such an interesting character and very complex in my opinion.

The jedi are just as bad as the sith. The only difference is their unearned sense of moral superiority.

People are blind jedi are not better than sith maybe even worse but casual fans will not see any difference for them jedi are pure knights of justice xd

I mean. The man wasnt wrong. Just having the ability to use the Force gives you a ticket to anything. The twi'lek clearly had some anger and jealous issues, plus he was super attached to his sister. Jedi was just doing what he had been taught to do. And Malgus is right, back then, the Jedi were extremely picky about newcomers. But, what happens if one of those "failed" students starts using the dark side? However. The Jedi are wrong about attachments, love, et cetera. Yes, it can go out of control, but you are missing out on so much life doing that. The Jedi want you to be a good little soldier. Dark side goes too far down emotions, Light side doesn't go down them at all.

This is why Sith are better. Why deny the natural order of things? Plus, I've heard the dark side has cookies. 😁

I dont think the jedi master had it coming he clearly had his reasons for not taking the boy... maybe he saw something in the boys future and didnt want to teach him. He raised her from a young child, clearly he cared for her and her for him and he tried to do the best he could. Also was trying to do the right thing by destroying the holocron as well and judging by her reaction to his death she knew she had made a huge mistake. So he really didnt do anything to have it coming.

They had several machines on several planets. Originally. It has a different lore than the George Lucas

I dont really know how to really win this as a jedi. They can pacify to the point of inaction when everything is burning around them... but also get involved so much they are Generals leading the direction of battle. Too much power to keep in balance

The only thing the Jedi did wrong in this case was accepting someone as old as Sa'har was into the Order. *does a little dance*
