Still shocks me to this day that it was one man, a dream, and a bunch of crazy fools who took the player made port idea way out of proportion, with the creation of Port Tabasco. ALSO REAISE THIS WAS WC91 FOOTAGE. SO THAT RELENTLESS GUNBOAT WAS YOU GODDAMNIT. CAF RULES, BANANA SMELLS. ORIGIN STANDS! As with our gunboats: It was only a singular gunboat, we were running 2 barges with it for resupply. Our main goal was stopping you but, as mentioned in the video, we both resupplied when the other had left. I was sad to not come across you. Think the GB you killed was another crew entirely though as we didn't see you come back, so decided to not go out until needed. Either that or we were trying to AT barge you.
To be fair it was not just "one man". I was one of the original crew there. While Mr. Tabasco and me were talking one day about how Logi could be improved he just surprised me the next day by setting up the first rough port through the night. (It was just a FOB, some cranes, and some foxholes at that time). 3SP took it over to build it up and made it public, FMAT was convinced that it was an amazing Idea. And chipped in a lot of Materiel and transport. Especially containers. And soon enough all the major clans were in and it gave randoms a good place to start, learn and socialize. Clans started to work together more and solo players had the feeling of achievement. It was always a community project, it would never have worked otherwise.
In the any war cutting off the enemy supply lines was a key strategy because without it, you are bound to die like without Weapons/ammo means no protection and without food or beverages you go hungry and thirsty
next time, just put the 120 into the seaport inventory, and you can grab it using the gunboat. You can even build a fob in certain spots and interact with the fob using the gunboat to pull shells from it. Makes for very fast gunboat loading.
It’s a large time suck. I questioned my sanity after loading trucks for a living 12 hours a day, just to unwind and load trucks with french people on a video game.
@@chesterpanda I just spent a good three hours in a meat grinder in some place called Ash Forest. My biggest achievement was taking out a squad with a gas grenade from my launcher, before getting shot by some dude, wounded, then runned over by a tank.
@@chesterpanda i live the results of people who fail logistics in real life (receiving end of a warehouse), so doing logi in this game makes me feel like i am helping
@@CreepyBanana well that's the thing - i don't know if my settings are broken or if I'm doing something wrong, but the game is quiet... I don't hear anyone talking, and I've tried joining squads but I only ever see a couple people in a squad. feel like there needs to be like 20 to be effective.
@@SkySweeperSyn I just log in, ask chat "hey any squads need a logi bitch to stockpile for them?" then normally someone says something like "yeah get X number of Y and A of B and C of D" And i stock pile their locked stocked pile. I can't take out, but at least helped them get it stocked for whatever they plan on using it for

Everyone oohs and aahs at the front lines, the trench warfare, the armored engagements, but hell hath no fury like logi inconvenienced. The humble scrooper and factory rat goes from merely supplying the front lines, to wheeling out their most horrifying death machines to obliterate whatever interrupted their peaceful time. It's like angering the Adeptus Mechanicus, you just don't do it!
Generally people join clans, do military operations and try to win ground. But personally I just like to have fun after a hard day of working in the scrap mines.
