Really speaks to Brads character that he voluntarily told the TCH about the extra $ in that hand. Too many people would have just kept it. It’s just one of many reasons why I respect you Brad. Great to see there’s still good people in this world!
Hey Brad great vid dude. Thanks for the honestly man, they returned the money to me yesterday. Good game. Good luck in Cabo and down the road man I’ll see ya around. -Frank
Yeah man, I'm glad they took care of you. Once I finished editing the video I forgot to add that you won/chopped the tournament. Congratulations on that. I'm not sure if step 3 already took place or not but good luck if it hasn't.
Thanks for your work Brad. I'm disabled and not able to play very often at all, but watching your vlogs, and a few others, I am able to keep my mind sharp. One never knows just how many lives we touch. Good luck to you brother and God bless, and good slick at the tables!!!
When you're trying to improve and move through stakes that will happen. I don't recall being in a $5 big blind game that had so many $3-4k+ pots before.
Hey Brad, new to the channel. My friend showed me it and its been awesome, almost relaxing. I played steady for 17 years and then haven't played a game in a year and a half. Watching your videos has actually scratched my itch for missing live games. You give great, insightful honest commentary and my favorite part is guessing your next action or bet before you do and I'm like 4 out 5 spot on which is super cool. Thanks for the great content.
Brad a class act bring up that the pot bet was $300 too big and him getting that man his money back. Good job by Texas Card House as well. Honesty gets rewarded. 👏
Did it! Watched episodes 1 -> 165 in about 3 weeks after finding your channel. You're a legend mate and watching the spin up has been class so well done to you! Go play the Irish Open in 2022 it's supposed to be one of the best 1.1K live events around. Now if you'll excuse me i'mma smash the subscribe button.
how does a person concentrate on cards when your opponent is getting the full RMT experience while you're just trying convince yourself to call the hand
PLO is a horrifically sick game but so fun at the same time. I have been absolutely destroyed in tournament PLO. The best one I had, I turned KK full of JJ vs pocket JJ that turned quads. In all honesty, I felt bad for the short stack that flopped the nut straight with AT
I don't consider myself an omaha master but we play a lot of 4 and 5 card double board bomb pots here in Portland, and that raise on the the flop by Brad is so bad. That weak Ace and flush draw isn't getting anyone off of their hand. Drawing for a flush (whether it's the nut flush or not) when boats are so common in this game just isn't a good way to get it in. Call the $100 and see what develops. The turn cards on these boards will really tell you where you're at. Great content as always!
nice to see other portland players checking in! where'd you play? The Game or Meadows? I didn't see many bomb pots at Final Table while I was out there. I gotta get back out there for some action. I miss it!
Brad is hardly a PLO master and was short stacked, he also had trip A's but I do agree with you. I imagine next time, he may call and evaluate the turn. I think against 2 ops (as opposed to 1) you are not in great shape.
@@kydzyr0 Get back out there! I mostly play at meadows. Meadows usually tries to run a a table of just bomb pots lol. That's to wild for me. I try and stick to the 1/2 2/5 games where the bomb pots are once every orbit. Tons of action though! Final table definitely has softer game.
Great video per usual! My homie @ThinkBluePoker and I had a blast at TCH and those Texas players really love to give and get action! Can't wait to go back soon. Also, extra special shout outs and kudos to you for doing the right thing after noticing the miscount and ensuring that the player got their money back! Integrity is always great for the game!
Hey Brad, never commented on your videos before but just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to record a video to say when you ran into my friend. Really means a lot and hopefully we will run into each other one day. Keep up with the great content!
@@TEAMGETHELP then explain to me why he didn't have aces full of 3s? Wait, maybe I get it... If I say it this way it makes more sense to me: He can only use 3 cards from the board, is that rignt?
All parties involved come out looking super classy after the miscount situation. Good on you, Brad! I hope your play encourages others to be honest and upstanding in their own lives, no matter what they're doing!
yooo whats up brad? i cant wait gor poker to open up here in Pennsylvania, you have inspired me to learn, and i am pretty decent now. just beware the pocket mcjiggities
Amazing respect for Brad for contacting the casino about the extra money he won during that PLO hand! So many people wouldn't bother even if they felt bad for the victim. I aspire to live my life with values like you Brad, keep up the awesome work!
O.M.G !!!! i did'nt know tou specialized in jet posting to the UK , i swear i just pressed complete order button and BANG !!! it was here , i love the quality of the hoodie , i will wear this with such pride , and if im asked about it i'll say yeah me n brad are mates , keep up the fantastic work buddy . phil from across the pond .
Perfect! I live near SF so we actually need to wear hoodies during summer. As well as apparently needing to wear 12 masks at a time by the looks of all the people around me
Glad to see you here in the valley Brad and take some photos with you and Andrew! I’m the ripped guy 🤣. The valley is full of walking ATM calling machines. Anyone consider moving here, probably the hardest place to play
Two things: I’ve noticed when you win big pots you usually throw the dealer some chips. Is that some sort of custom tipping or what’s going on? Also, watching your channel is so helpful to becoming a better poker player. One request perhaps is to see more hands where you fold. I think it is just as valuable to learn when to fold compared to when to bet or raise. Great content in you channel, keep it up! 💪💪
I’m a novice when it comes to the slang/terminology you’re saying for hold ‘em, is there somewhere I can go to brush up on all of that? Just found your channel keep killing it with these!
Can I just say I'm so happy you realised what had happened and informed Texas Card House about their mistake and made sure your table mate wasn't shafted and very well handled by them too
Awesome as always! Thank you for keeping it real! By the way it wasn't until this video that I truly understood...you are as crazy as the rest of us! I love it!
Brad. You gotta rethink your PLO bomb pot strategy. Applying "max pressure" when you have a good hand on one board and nothing on another is a good strategy for hold-em bomb pots but in PLO it's very easy for somebody to crush both boards or for 2 different players to each be nutted on 1 board and for you to get scooped. The best thing to do would be to simply wait until you are nutted on 2 boards or nutted on one and drawing to the nuts on another and then just get all the money in. You'll find that in split pot games if you don't have a strong chance at scooping your hand just isn't all that good.
Hey Brad. I knew you would make good and call the Card house about the mistake in pot size. Loved the vid. Thanks for all the effort you put into these. GL in the big Heads-Up match
Brad. I am a big fan of your poker vlogs. You are my favorite vloger. I like your merch, but I was wondering if you have ever considered creating your own "Bradley Dollar" poker chips? I would pay "more than a dollar" for some!
