This is part of a larger group of stories called the Layers. This author actually has his own channel called Last Lodge, on it they have the whole series of the Layers. About 8 and a half hours long. I highly recommend it. It's an amazing tale.

There is so much going on in this universe. It's really an amazing yarn. I highly recommend checking it out. DS should also consider doing this whole series in the future. It's amazing.

I'm usually not one for werewolf stories or movies. But this is really good. Up until he changed in the bathroom, I thought it was a metaphor for serial killer. Very well narrated and written.

Man.. I love just about all horror, but as the transformation started I was like, "Please be this, please be this!" And I was not disappointed! I may like several different monsters, but I absolutely have a favorite. Really loved this one, with location changes and all, it made it really unpredictable till right up at the end.

I just wanna say that I really appreciate the soft mixing for your voice, and the dark backgrounds for your videos too. I like watching/listening to these when I lay in bed, to take my mind off things while my body gets sleepy, so not having sudden bright lights is great.

Generally the ones considered most closely related to Cthulhu are Nyarlthoptek, Dagon, and occasionally Shub-Niggurath. And the Shoggoths are debated to be either the children of Cthulhu and his ilk, or their creations, or extradimensional fungal/bacterial entities similar to slime molds.

For me it's quite stressful with having a disabled child and we try to look after them with my other two children. We have no family or friends to help but something as simple as listening to a stranger's voice is calming albeit the material might not be for calming initially 🤣 Just know even strangers can be grateful for your hard work. During Covid and up until July of 2022 I listened to your stories just about every day while working, on a walk or driving. I’m a woman, but there’s NO WAY I can hide anywhere from somehow knowing that I just have to check the uploads on my iPad on certain nights. I have to get up from my very comfortable bed upsetting my sleep as well as my dogs who looks indignant & moves to her own bed in rejection. Yeah. Nah. I’m oblivious atm. BECAUSE…. OMG THIS ONE WAS INCREDIBLE I don't remember when I last heard a werewolf creepypasta (but the one I did was very good) and this one did an AMAZING job at building up and vaguely hinting, and the twist near the end was truly chilling. I want to know more, this totally needs a part 2. The violence in particular may have been vivid in words alone but the screaming and ripping sounds honestly made me shudder. Oddly, these stories help me fall asleep. So thanks for that! This has been extra important lately as I've had trouble sleeping (or felt unwilling to sleep at times) because of stress, so in a twist of irony horror stories are helping me with my stress and anxiety.

I always have to skip the gore. I get panic attacks and faint when I see or imagine gory things. It sucks cuz I love horror. And so I keep risking this and returning to your amazing narrations. The music, the sound effects, it's so well done. I've been here ever since you narrated a bad drug trip story with truly epic sound design. Keep it up Somnium!

My absolute favorite horror narrator on youtube. I love listening to your voice at work. I usually do everything alone and just have earbuds in, but i dont feel so alone when i listen to your stories. It gives me something to look forward to when you make a new one

this story was very inmmersive, loved it. The last scenes were thrilling!! It's been a long time since I heard a werewolf story that was this good. Great story
