Be sure to check out the authors new youtube channel: www.youtube.com/@thelastlodge This story is connected to another video i did called "I have a condition that makes me hunt people" . Check out that one here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FGy9mYsvVTo.html
I just want to say thank you. This may be a coincidence, but I left a few comments on your older Wendigo stories and similar stories, (like Skinwalker). And said how I love you VFX/SFX and Voice, saying how you and Darkness Prevails have helped me fall asleep or at work focus better. Again, thank you for another Wendigo story. I haven't listened yet, but when I go to bed, I will. Much Love, V
Hey I really love your stories. Is there any way I would be able to voice a character? I really enjoy voice acting and would absolutely love to voice someone even if it’s a small role.
It also has a connected story called the wolf below and above i think? It explains everything that happened at broken bend! And now ive found out theres another connected storu!!!!!
You just gotta appreciate how Dark Somnium brings these stories to life with sound effects, voice acting, and music! Seriously, you could've put this story through a text-to-speech machine and moved on to the next one. Yet, you take time out of your day to put effort into these stories which I'm sure all of our fans and authors are thankful for! Keep up the great work man!
Loved this story especially part 1. Little disappointed there wasn't a Werewolf v Wendigo fight but overall still great. Cannot wait for more parts to be released!
I'm curious to see what's controlling Broken Bend. The way it's described in the first story makes it sound Lovecraftian, although I'm not sure a creature from Lovecraft would even be fazed by a werewendigo.
@@jfjvmdvbdcndkjit depends on the lovecraftian horror, but most of them wouldn't. Even something as weak as Night Gaunt, Yithian or Shoggoth would all absolutely wreck a werewolf, or a Windigo. A were-windigo might stand a chance against the last 2, but not a Night Gaunt.
Hey Ronnie, I’ve never commented before, but I love your channel so so much. I’ve always struggled with sleep (getting to and staying), so finding something that helps is a genuine miracle to me. I listen almost every night, and I adore all of your videos. You put so much effort into each and every one, and I really want you to know how much it means to me, and I’m sure many others. I can safely say it’s thanks entirely to you that I’ve been getting to sleep so easily this past year, and I can’t thank you enough for everything you do Thank you again, and take care of yourself ❤️❤️ You’ve been uploading a lot lately, so remember to give yourself some time to relax just like you help us to:) Ps- My favorite is ‘the moon is very angry,’ and I love the settlement series as well
wow thank you so much Hannah, that is very kind of you and im so glad that the videos have been able to help you :) and im making sure to not over work myself :D im so glad you like that story, Imight be working with dopebean (the author of the moon story) on some new originals for the channel.
@@Vyris1 I’m on mobile, so for me it’s directly to the right on the same row as the like button. It’s a heart with a $ sign in it that says “Thanks” :)
I’m gonna go check out the hunting condition story. I stopped working when they started fighting and didn’t start again til the story ended. That’s a first. Idk why this one captivated me.
Thank you Mr Somnium for this awesome narration. The Wendigo has to be my favorite mythological creature of them all. Can't get enough of these kinda stories
God, this is a series I never knew I wanted. Can't wait for the next installation of this and the back roads as well as the settlement series. As always, you are an amazing narrator and I love your narrations. Also, all these authors don't miss, they write such good stuff!
I am so happy you gave the disclaimer to listen to the first part of this story before going into this one. That was DEFINITELY worth the 60+ minutes of listening. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I would pay good money to see this put in movie format. Goodness, the tension, anxiety, fear, disappointment, and animalistic excitement were palpable!! Job very well done, DS!!
It took me years to find this channel after being accustomed to listening only to Chilling Tales for Dark Nights, Mr. Creeps, Chilling Scares, and Mr. Nightmare. But after finding ur channel I realized just how many hidden gems are out there, talented ppl like yourself taking the time to add music, sfx, voice acting and others just blows my mind how much dedication and love you put into ur content. Great job my friend! Ur my fav scary story teller 👏⭐️
go back a a bit, and youll find a story mix called 'the things in the woods'. It features a GREAT story with an absolute banger cello horror song. Cant get enough of the story fr. I think its called 'My dad told me about the thing that killed my grandfather' or something?
Wendigos and Skinwalkers have got like, nothing in common. Wendigo are monsters, cannibalistic abominations - the manifestation of greed and gluttony, pushed on by need and the harsh horror of winter. Skinwalkers are witches and shape shifters, smart and cunning and evil in a way nothing but a thing with a human mind can be.
Man I loved that story! It's not often in stories like these that something actually good happens to the characters, let alone getting a whole new transformation!
I enjoy your narrations so much. Listened to Left Right Game for the tenth time in the past couple years and it hit me finally why I enjoy them so much. On top of all the effort and passion that goes into each of your uploads, you also never ever sound like you're reading out of a book. I could listen to you all day without the added music and edits.
What an interesting perspective!!! As usual, you were masterful, Ronnie. What a great one all around!! The music was especially fitting!! Your little insomniac!!
Thank you so much. You've done a lot, so much this month. I'm glad your health is well, the new apartment is smooth and your new soundproof room is completed. Forever a fan, Ronnie and I love seeing your growth. You've touched hundreds of thousands, ive just shared you 30 times or so. I can't wait for more! Rom has been doing amazing too, the feminine touch was a lovely addition. We all literally love you both so much. Thank you for so so so many hours of company
Your narrations are so unique. No other author can make me sit down and immerse myself in a story like you can bro. Hope you do the next part to this as well, Thanks for all you do. Cheers n God bless
💥🔥💥 I'm so happy you're uploading regularly again! I was missing my fav channel while you were doing Coyote. Which is a very good audio book . I'm getting into this series hoping there's mores! Thank you!💥🔥💥
It’s funny I’ve literally just listened to the previous part to this story about a week ago wondering when the next part would come out and now it’s here 😂 super excited to where this one will lead.
I got so excited when you said this was a sequel to the first story, love what you do an how much effort you put into it. Thank you for all yer hard work!
Hey, Somnium, this story was spectacular! The first part was intriguing but the way the author continued it has made it a whole lot more interesting, your narration and delivery of this awesome creepypasta was amazing. I really hope you'll do more like this story, fighting and action in these stories between the terrifying creatures give my imagination a joyride 🤟🤟🤟
You are a rock star. Your voice acting is so smooth. You make everything sound so natural, from your actual narration to the way the music flows and segues to even the sound effects, and it feels completely realistic and relatable. You give the words and scenes their meaning, and you convey emotion with your pacing and music, which engages your listeners, immersing them and retaining their attention all the way through to the very end. Really great job, as always, and I am looking forward to what comes next! Super author - the wording of this story was wonderfully descriptive, as it painted the pictures perfectly without cramming too much into any one thing, allowing the mind to see exactly what was being imaged. The timing was also super and did not feel forced nor like fluff and filler. I dig the characters and how you pull the audience into the mindset of your protagonist so well. Thank you for allowing the story to be posted on this channel!
Always love a good Wendigo story, and I'm still a tiny bit on the fence about submitting my own story, just my brain not liking the idea but i think today is the day I do it! Yup today I do it cause I just got back to listening to your narrations and just love hearing them like always love ya Somnium!
another video just in time before ending the day! love your work man. I cant express how much enjoyment I receive from listening to your work. whether its at work , home, or just driving down the road, they are always a comfort.
@@Darksomnium the honor is mine. I'm soon to have my first child. best believe once they're of age, they'll be listening along As well. I may start with my personal favorite, the sounding of the fifth trumpet .
Amazing story, I always like slightly edgier and visceral stories like the secret government prison series, and I’m a hit man and my last target wasn’t human. As usual your level of narration prowess shines through as well, you have such high quality I can’t even listen to other RU-vidrs anymore!
Heck yes!! I wanted to hear more and you didn't disapoint. Absolutely can't wait to hear even more glorious monster battles. Makes me wonder though, will the main character regain the wolf within? And if so will the two forms merge to become a new more powerful monster? I guess we'll have to wait for the next story to find out. Hopefully our amazing Dark Somnium will bring us that part too.
I started watching very recently and the first story I heard was "I have a condition that makes me hunt people" so far it is still my favorite, so I am quite excited to see what this has in store
Theres a lot to love about this story. First we have a monster who would otherwise be a villain, but the overarching story regarding the eldritch horror in broken bend is built to be the overarching antagonist. On top of that, this guy's willpower and cunning allow him to multiclass as a werewolf and a Wendigo after he learns to research enemies on top of recognizing predatorial behaviors on other monsters to plan ahead. The thing that makes this protag scary is that he is a monster that can plan from a place of experience and can add to his roster of monstrous forms. And I'm all for it.
Can't wait to hear the next chapter of this story and what it was he came up against in the first one since i initially thought the wendigo was what he ran from in first chapter and it had followed him to this new town but i guess that was wrong.
Not even done listening to the story and it’s already a W. I usually fall asleep listening to your and Mr.CreepyPasta’s stories. You should do a video on the Midnight Game story
Yo. I'm always tired after I come home from work or job college, yet I have issues falling asleep. Turns out, just listening to your videos fixes that. Thanks a lot!
I was kind of hoping the main character would be able to control morphing from Wendigo to wolf! I love the mind aspect of the story! Amazing narration 😊
That would diminish what all Wendigos have in common. Being punished for engaging in cannibalism and losing their humanity entirely. A wendigo should not be some 'special transformation', for Gary Stu to switch on and off. It is an irreversible curse.
Ooh Wendigos, I love monster creepy pastas and Wendigo stories tend to be great. Coupled with your narration, this makes a good nighttime story to drift off to.
There is no amount of praise I can give to describe how great this story is or interesting the premise is . Great work on the narration butnu always do an amazing job.
Hi Dark Somnium, the stories are amazing, I really appreciate the effort you put in! Just a question, how often do you upload to Spotify, is there set schedule? Thanks again for all your hard work!
I was having my recommended list of the day auto played, I never thought I would encounter such a gem, I thanked you for exsisting in this void of videos, I was browsing the Internet and reading the Book in the side at the same time listening to audio only from videos and I suddenly I glimpsed the tab to see your video.
I absolutely loved this story! It's an awesome mix of horror, action and an epic example of the pray becoming the predator! I simply adore scenarios like this!
THIS IS SUCH A GREAT STORY! And TDS just made it come to life!! I actually got chills once our hero finally got ahold of his body....so good! Thank you, Ronnie!🥰👌
It bothers me, that RU-vid is putting adds in these stories now. I get so engrossed in a story, and then poof… add. I have been a subscriber for as long as I can remember, and you are definitely my favorite narrator of all time. There a several I would love to hear you narrate. Thank you for everything that you do for this community. In my opinion, you are the best.
I really hope this is ongoing. I was curious how it would tie into the first one. The possibilities moving forward sounds like future awesome stories. He’s a different kind of hunter now. Thanks as always for amazing content.
Hey! I've been following for a long time and think I've listened to every story you've narrated so far. On my way to work, traveling, gaming, sleeping. I've listen to your voice all these years and have enjoyed the stories thus far. I don't often leave to many comments but since you've said you try to at least read all your comments I thought I'd leave this one to say thank you for these amazing narrations though out the years! Truly one of my favorite RU-vid channels.
