I was diagnosed with AVNRT (atrial ventricular nodal re-entry tachycardia) and Atrial Tachycardia a couple years ago. My heart rate would go up in the 140’s for no reason sometimes. I had surgery for the AVNRT and grew out of the AT (yes that’s a real thing😂) sending love❤❤

I have the same thing! it sucks! I got what is called is a loop recorder, they implant a small device to monitor the heart rate continuously and it has helped A LOT!

I have this same exact problem i am so sorry i feel it makes me worn out and sometimes cranky... I took two high blood pressure meds they made it so worse I almost had a stroke. I got a two week heart monitor and they found things seemed normal. I had an echocardiogram and have a great cardiologist at Dartmouth hospital here in New Hampshire ❤ I'm just scared because mine i do believe is extreme stress related too personal to mention on here the reasons❤ please pray for me that my little girl and I get out of this stressful situation 😔

Omg I literally have Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia!! I have never heard of anyone around me that has the same exact condition because there are different variants of it. Sometimes it feels like we are trapped inside our own bodies.❤

I have SVT and I have heart palpitations,low heart rates,high heart rates into the 300s and will not come down throwing up and blacking out so I understand heart monitors suck but the have to sand your chest sometimes and omg ekgs suck to it’s so cold ❤️ sending love to you and your fam ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Aww I'm sending you lots of well wishes and positivity. I have mitral heart regurgitation and was born with it, I've had 2 heart surgeries as a baby and a teen (I have a proshetic heart valve) but because I'm 30 now (with no kids) they've advised I start trying for a baby (been trying for 5 months) because they want to do heart surgery to replace my prosthetic heart valve to a metal one (after pregnancy) and because the metal valve is high risk during pregnancy it's the only baby I can have. I'm lucky I get to go through this with my soulmate. (also have to be observed every six weeks during pregnancy, I've also had so many heart monitors on me growing up and echo cardiogram etc) Stay strong 💕

I lost my dad when I was 5 years old. He died of an unexpected cardiac arrest due to clogged artery on his heart. 😢 it makes me think maybe I should get tested like you have done Caitlin. It does worry me xx

Omg I hope you can baby girl are ok. Also I understand because I’m 12 years old and I have a heart condition that I was born with call truncus arteriosus type 2 so I understand because I have to get echos every year and I have had 2 open heart surgeries and is good have to have another one in the next year or so. I have to get a echo in a month and have to have a heart monitor in a few weeks😩❤ hope you guys the best ❤❤

I have IST too! Weird thing is that you got put on meds for your heart rate being around 110, but my average heart rate is 120, and the doctor said it’s not fast enough for them to put me on meds or anything.

My mum had a cardiac arrest too! Luckily she survive but we both have long qt Syndrome, also a heart condition

I can see how worrying this is for you - it has me worried and I don't even know you! - but you're young and fit, and now that they're monitoring you, there's a much better chance of staving off any problems. Stay strong, Caitlin!

Caitlin, i have a great condition called SVT or super ventricular tachycardia so I have similar symptoms to you my sinus rhythm is always high but my heart rate is always higher too. When I was pregnant with my first daughter they ended up taking me in for an emergency induction because I had been in the hospital for a week and a half and my heart rate was anywhere from 1:20 to 1:50 and would not come down so they admitted me and decided to do an emergency induction at 37 weeks so I know exactly what you're going through and what you're experiencing, it makes you feel so strange! I will be sending you all of my love and Good vibes and I will be praying that things get better! Us heart condition girlies map to stick together LOL

My dad passed away at 46 years old due to Coronary Artery Disease which is a blockage of the arteries in the heart. I also have what Caitlin has. I'm 30 years old and they just diagnosed me with it a couple of weeks ago. I also have a stress test and an echo scheduled for the 29th... I'm terrified of what they are going to find... :( Thanks for shedding light on IST...

This happened to me during my second pregnancy. My heart would skip like two beats ended up being put in beta blockers because it was so bad. Once I gave birth my son had to have his heart checked thank god he’s fine. Still have issues 4 years after his birth. It’s crazy

I kept on blacking out, went to the cardiologist and had a " loop recorder inserted under the skin, was given a external monitor and i had to get a pacemaker fitted 3 years ago, not blacking out anymore
