F*CK Hurricane Beryl. I apologize for the delay guys. Blame this ridiculous Houston weather. I hope everyone is safe. In other news. LET’S F*CKIN GO JT!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for watching guys!
Also, keep it up man! One of the hest things about your channel is that you admit you dont know everything, your content is extremely relatable. Everytime I open up youtube, I am searching to see if a new Valdez video has dropped.
Hey Valdez, another good one. 8337 in early position is a definite NOOOO lol. I doubt I'd even play that hand, if you flop a set it would most likely be bottom set and 37 hearts is to far apart. Good luck
QQQ is a call on the club board, no club on turn that's when you pop it. Well that's the way I would have played it, I think lol.abd if Broadway card didn't turn either, but he would have checked a Broadway with his hand.
Your vlogs are #1 As for the Tilt, go fishing, bowling, golfing or what ever you like to do besides playing poker. This will clear your head of all bad poker thoughts and you’ll be a force to be reckoned with when you come back…Cheers!
Good to see you still alive and hopefully doing ok Valdez I know you have had some terrible weather and issues there in Houston. Don't worry about the haters you just do you as you have a great vlog and personality I love your videos as well as your a good poker player too. Keep up the great work. Jay from Tennessee 😎
I think you can feel okay folding the QQ on that Omaha hand, often villain has top set. And when they are bluffing they probably have a wrap+flush draw. You ran into the one guy who decided to repot with just a flush draw 🤷🏻♂️
It happens Valdez.. keep up the great v.logs.. ive been in a run bad spot for 3 months. Partly from play but mostly from not catching cards and winning my flips. Its got to come back soon.
@@ValdezPokerwow you weren't kidding this really was a Omaha video Man Valdez that Omaha hand were you flopped a set of Queens and the villain potted it to $515 that was a hard decision to make I was struggling there with you on that hand but I have to say I was relieved when he flipped over the Aces and clubs I don't know about you but I think it was a good fold on your part well played
Great Vid, keep it pushin'!!! To answer your question, that hand in early position is a snap fold or it's usually sunken money!!! Poker is definitely homework after every session!!!
Mr V. When you flop a set of QQ in bomb pot and raise and the opponent re-raise you 4X. Think his play out thoroughly. He will not try to push you off top set with raise. He wants to keep your bluffs in no matter what else hit the board. Bad fold boss. Thinking man’s game!!!!
loved the vlog as always and now have a player to support at the WSOP final table, wish i was in vegas, Are you going to rail JT tomorrow? keep on keeping on!
@@andyfowler7810 I wish I could! It was so last minute when we found out that he was making the final table. Plus I have to film tonight. So we’ll just have a watch party at the hangar tomorrow
Hey I know your channel is fairly new and you haven’t been around poker a while like you stated. I would recommend taking notes for the hands your involved in. Standing up with your camera to film the board every street for every hand you’re involved in is fairly odd. Players at the table might feel some kind of way and for the sake of “poker etiquette” it would be a better look. For longevity with your channel it will be a cleaner look and production. Get the software or whatever you need to edit the boards into your videos. Keep doing what you doing besides that. Maybe don’t fold middle set but I’m not Omaha expert 😂.
Thanks Valdez your to kind. I will say you have come a long way and turned into quite a great poker player. I look forward to watching your videos as you know. You have done such a great job with your game. Learning and growing from your mistakes as well as not afraid to ask for help and advice and then listen to what people have to say and use it. I am very proud of you and still believe your going to be one of the greats in time. I am planning on going to the casino tomorrow to play some poker and just get out and have some fun as well earned and deserved after taking couple months off. I just wish you would come up to Tennessee on day so we could play some poker together my friend. 😎 Will let you know how my poker session turns out tomorrow hopefully I stay at casino for couple days and do well. Best of luck my friend will look forward to your next video as well as keep you posted on my poker outing tomorrow. Jay from Tennessee 😎
Me personally I'm never folding a set of Queens, if he has KK then take my money. The first step to getting better is acknowledging you're mistakes, and you have no problem doing that. You gonna be just fine bro, keep grinding....
Pocket QQ's and 962A at your position I'd check, he can raise then you can decide if you want to re-raise based on the bet amt and possibly see the next turn.
Oh shit ya boy made the final 3... that's fckkin crazy.... I feel like I kinda know someone, that knows someone who's about to ship the main event.... good luck 2 ya man JT, and bless ya future endeavors
Valdez your friend JT pulled it off he won the WSOP main event. That has to motivate you to start playing tournaments because it sure as hell motivates me.
QQ better to check range on that board oop vs Btn call, then depending on playertype and betsize, go for XR, u keep betting into aggro guy, makes no sense, better to go for xr, or xc xc xc
Nice playing with you - I was the guy on your right. I was hoping to see the one hand where you bluffed me on the turn and I folded :) haha - Wishing you all the best and I do hope to get into a game with you next time I'm in Houston.
What does "Reverse Button" mean??? I know when it hits then you play Omaha but what exactly is it??? And regarding TILT coming from a player who sucked out on you your mindset should be happy i/o tilty because in the long run, you want these kind of players at the table... Re the the TILT stemming from when you yourself made a boneheaded play... well that's easy use them as lessons and learn from your mistakes and therefore take a positive from it!!!
I like your content bro I've been washing your videos for a lil bit now. Don't worry you got this! Even pros get into a realm of straight losses. You'll come out of this stronger! Anyway, I hope to play with you someday. Let's do a meet up game. How do I get in touch with you bro?
@@jummanhasan9571 awesome bro, I appreciate you for watching. Join my discord bro and we can talk all of the time on there. The link to my discord is in my bio. Or you can dm me on Instagram. @allthingsvaldez
The queens fold was abismal the rest of your play was good but second nuts just pay the man even if you think you’re beat a lot of people play aces like they’re the nuts
Your set was good. You never even thought it might be Aces. Call all day if flush gets there he may have slowed down then you’d have pot control. That could’ve giving ya a big W.
the AKT4 plo hand is a bit of a punt, lucky the guy leading out multiway was a lot worse. youre hand isnt that good, and you dont have many outs to improve other than runner runner flush, which is a really good reason NOT to raise. some portion of the time you can be mega-free rolling yourself vs A4+set or two pair or like a higher wrap. I would really only raise there with like a straight+significant draws to further improve.
That QQQ hand, you gotta call, just because of how many combo draws he could have there. AJ10 w clubs is shoving, 2pr+flush draw probably shoves, just a bunch of flush/straight combos that know they are close to flipping trying to squeeze out any fold equity they can there. The low double suited trash, just muck it. Even when you hit a flush you're never confident you are good, just gonna lose more money to bigger flushes in the long run, and VERY hard to have a made hand that you are confident is ahead to be able to build a pot to win.
With the queens hand? I would have just given up or check called if i wanted to continue because knowing hes the most aggressive player i know hes raising vs a small sizing 100% of the time.
on the QQ hand when ace hits turn I would have bet 3/4s pot that way if raised id fold , or just check call something around 3/4s .. I wouldn't bet smaLL and leave so much room for a re raise
The raise wasn’t terrible. You’re only getting called by sometimes sets and all the time by the better straight ofc. I wouldve probably raised instead of potting it is my only critique. Good luck!
I think the QQJ5 hand is not ideal either. you should probably study a bit of PLO or play some microstakes online. you mentioned you were in MP and player to your left raised, which means you just limped? QQJ5no fd is probably just a fold from MP, and I definitely don't like limp calling here. On KQ6 with just middle set and no straight draw/fd, its also not strong enough really to x/r get all the money in with. sometimes you are going to be mega-dead vs KK, and you are also going to be behind a lot of combo draws. most better hands are going to fold to a x/r too. you also mention having the 5c as relevant, but its really not. it would be a lot more relevant if you had the Jc or Tc as those block a lot of the wraps opponent could have. Opponent played AA pretty bad as well though, so I guess thats how that is, since AA with clubs is just not going to be that strong vs that action and when he gets called on that 3b is almost always going to be getting the money in behind. Gl though on the sessions and hope some run good is coming your way!
When you had QQ and the turn was an ace, yes I think you have to bet again. So, good job. Not only can you not show weakness there by checking…. But you can’t assume the ace hit him. After betting it if you get called or raised you can reassess. Since he raised you on the turn, easy fold. You lost the minimum on that hand.
Dope vid as usual. I play at Legends in Houston. It’s pretty chill with lots of donks. Check it out sometime. Call ahead and see if they’ll let your record/film. ✌️
@@Derek6765 honestly, tight is right. You dont have to take advantage of every single ounce of ev on the table, because youll have at least a few players playing bad enough that will make you profitable just playing straightforward poker, even without bluffing
Don’t waste everyone’s time when you folded the set of Q. You had a hard decision sure but when you announce “I have the second nuts” the hand is kinda over. You can’t call or shove now because he has perfect info. Table probably didn’t appreciate it lol
Losing $ 14 and tilting........🤣🤣🤣🤣 But hey........i know what you mean lol. 👍👍👍👍 Nice vlog. 👍👍👍👍 (Hopefully a bit less omaha hands next time would be nice)
@@fransfermont6193 lol I prefer less Omaha hands as well bro. But I have to tell the story of the session. I just can’t leave the poker house stuck 2k and not put the interesting hands in that got me stuck 2k…lol you guys would be confused at the end of the video. So that’s why I just put the interesting hands in and not worry about if they’re Hold’em or Omaha. But have it my way, it would be less Omaha as well
