Dave when I was a young man in my twenties I was an addict one night I got on the phone with a Catholic hotline and spoke to a woman who was so nice and spoke to me for about an hour the next day I entered rehab and never went back I have been clean and sober since 2009 and it's all due to God I couldn't have done it without him
Sounds more like the woman who you spoke to should get the most credit for turning your life around. I'm not religious at all but were brought up with morals etc,....I don't feel that I have to follow any god as such. If there truly were one, wouldn't ALL religious people paint the same picture of him at least? In India for example, they show him with an elephant's head for example.

This takes work but eternity is worth it. I suggest reading CS Lewis, Frank Turek, Paul Coplan, Sean McDowell, Ravi Zacharias, Timothy Keller. I will pray for you to find truth.

My husband lost his job a month and a half ago. But we had been stocking away and saving and are able to live off of that right now. We belong to Jesus and this is the most important thing ❤. I see His hand at work and I know that He is working.

While it's definitely not under your control, being prepared for natural disasters that occur in your area is a step in the right direction

I've had to rebuild my life multiple times . The Lord has always provided..I just had to have faith in Him. I will praise Him on the mountain and in the valley. Hallelujah!

I talked to a gentleman who was from a country who's monetary system failed. He said the only ones that made money and ate well, were the farmers. Many starved. It worked out that some farmers allowed people to camp...they in turn Helped keep thee bad guys away and were a source of help . The farmer was able to supply them with some basic food... Protection means having a group that wants you to survive because their lives depend on it. Without God none of them would of made it..
For almost 2 years I feverishly prepped, paid off debt also Just lately in the last 9 months that urgency is gone My prepping is way down I am not self sufficient or prepared as much as I would like, but I am at peace in my spirit I believe I have done what the Holy Spirit has prompted me to do. 100 % my prepper pantry has some bare shelves now but I'm grateful for food to keep me nourished. Even a can of soup that has to be split into 2 meals is good .
I have felt more conviction in the past couple of months than I have in my entire 42 years on His earth. I don’t know what I am being lead to do or what He is pushing me towards but I can tell you that I have never felt His presence so much.
It has been by faith that we have been able to prepare over the last 8 years. He is the One who told us to prepare and He’s the One who has made it possible even through very lean times. God is good all the time and will be with us no matter what as long as you look to Him and live for Him, praise the Lord🙌🏻
My husband has always worked all the overtime that was offered, kids today barely want to work 40 hours. He was able to retire with no debt, thank you Lord! I have a small business and the Lord keeps blessing me with more work, so we can help others in our family and our church family. God blesses us every day. Thank you for your channel.

Yeah, they get paid crap is why. You can't live in a non ghetto apartment, pay for a economy used car(over inflated price) and pay all the other bills. So everyone needs trades to make it. So we get illegals who get welfare and work for peanuts because "nobody wants to work" those jobs.

I love to hear you, and other preppers I listen to, testify to your faith in Jesus! It is absolutely the MOST NECESSARY prep! And we need to be well-acquainted with the Word of God.
My daughter just got a second job. She works Monday-Friday at job with benefits and then 7pm-7am Friday, Sat, Sun at a hospital lab. I go to her house Thursday-Mon to drive her to the night job. I don't think the 36 hours on the weekend is sustainable however she wants to pay off ALL debt in 2 years. Tuesday - Thursday I am caring for non ambulatory mom. I am also applying for night shifts while she is asleep at night. Keep the faith team.
She's smart. Nobody should enter the end days with debt. You are too easily controllable. I'm throwing all my extra money at principal too. Stupid school loans got me crippled. 😢
Yeah I did that in my 20's. If I had worked a day shift it would have lasted longer but I could not handle the night shift - try to sleep and then turn around and do a 40 hour day shift it started catching up with me quick and I needed to be able to do my FT job. Best of luck to her.
My son and I both had a dental appointment this week, and I had a tooth pulled. At least that's done now. I'll get an optician's appointment next. I need new glasses. Don't put off what needs doing now.
You can get your glasses cheaper online than buying in the store. Payne Glasses is great if you wear bifocals- I bought 2 pair of glasses for less than 85.00- took 2 weeks to get. If you want them faster pay for FedEX delivery

For some of us, txtng is difficult, arthritis in our hands, eyesight, etc. Or maybe a cracked phone screen? My friend does voice to text, which invariably gets some words wrong. Also these"smart" phones are really dumb. But I knew what she meant!
Judgmental people, give it a break. I use Google voice recognition to make my comments and don't always remember to proofread. Google puts in all kinds of ridiculous things and seems to take pleasure and changing what you say to something that means the complete opposite. But I guess all the rest of you are perfect.

I agree with you and my grandson sees the writing on the wall. He works sixty hours per week. That’s his regular job. Then he chops wood on weekends for himself and for extra money. He’s 30 and has a wife and two little boys. He’s slowly teaching them his work ethics. I am 80+ and i still garden, can, dehydrate and do alot on these three acres. Yes self discipline is most important. Without that we are lost to TV and social media. I too have a drilled well, septic and a mountain creek. If we lose power, it won’t be easy, but I have a composting toilet in my potting shed. I can’t use solar as my house is in the woods. But as self sufficient as possible and I owe nothing except monthly utilities. I pay off my one credit card balance every month and never charge what I can’t pay off. We are free when we owe nothing.

Absolutely!!! Jesus is my everything!!! I was an atheist. However, seeing what we see today, all evidences, all world events, the more people walk away from Jesus, the worse humanity gets. It is hard for me not to see Jesus is real. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sixty six yrs old here. First survival skills course in 1992. Navy vet. Prepping since before then with high school buddy and brother in Christ. His place was set up, isolated, solar, garden, chickens, well, ponds, cattle, bunker with lots of food, “defensive equipment,” gold, silver, medical equipment, farm equipment, tools, on and on. He was killed at work, an accident. His wife, who was apparently on board with all of it, sold EVERYTHING. She didn’t have to, he left her in good shape. I am going solo now with my wife. What we plan and what the Lord allows to happen are not always the same. His will be done, not ours. Learn to deny your soul life to gain it. The cross is not just for salvation but also for our transformation.
We have to stay focused on Jesus in every circumstance, in all storms of life, we need to pray, stay peaceful, prep and prepare, but mostly spiritually. Love your neighbor ❤️

Preparing is empowerment! Knowing you can face what comes w/o fear. The Lord is with us! We have been gardeners for ages. We moved to a small village…ooh, the new place has taken a bit to get a garden producing, but this year has been good! We are glad we didn’t wait to get this garden up and going! Though fruit trees are not producing yet, but berries are! As for cost…I have kept a diary of what we have put up. In June, what we put up paid for all our supplies to plant and put up…seeds, plants, and water for the month. In July,water was more expensive, but still we came out well ahead! August Is still looking good even if we are not able to put up as much due to high temps. I wish I had also kept track of all the fresh foods we ate….as we have not purchased any fresh fruits, veggies since April….we know all the work was well worth it. Besides our garden is beautiful, ok. the beauty is in the eye of the beholder! And I m beholden!

Can you comment or recommend a generator for a single senior? Mainly for the frig or freezer. I just heard Perry Stone’s latest word and it made me stop and think how I had better get something i can afford. I’m in a rental and unable to garden. Please and thank you!
@@QueenB572 forget generators, get a small rig of solar panels with some batteries. You can operate the fridge or freezer with that and it wont cost you more then 1000$ while you never have to buy fuel. Its not rocket science, find a guy to set it up or educate yourself on youtube.
@@QueenB572Hello, SP1 has great previous videos on all kinds of solar battery systems. Small ones, medium size, etc. do a search on his channel for small solar generators (actually they're batteries). Various price ranges. Hope this helps.
@QueenB572 depends on where you are at. In an apartment, forget a gas generator. If you want plug and play get a 1000watt or better electric generator and at least 100 watts of panels. You will have to unplug the generator from the fridge and charge it every so many hrs to keep the battery charged. It can work because for so many hrs the fridge will hold a safe temp not running. Get 1500 watts if you can afford it. Watch reviews on ones in your price range.
That's what decided over 8 years ago. Saved for our move out of state for land with no restrictions. So we can be as self reliant as possible. We have plenty of woods to keep us warm for many years to come. We put up solar, we have 2 septics on the property and 2 wells, a spring and a year round stream. We have been removing rocks/boulders from the ground and stream to use elsewhere on the property. We upgraded our fencing and replaced our roof to a metal roof and on the barn as well. We have seeds for years because we save seeds every year. We started growing barley a few years ago and we use the straw to grow gourmet mushrooms after the straw is sterilized. We save money that way by not having to buy the straw and the barley we eat and it goes to the chickens too.
Praise Jesus 🙏🏻 I believe in meeting the needs of family first. With 6 children it’s always sacrificing for them. There is little left over for anything else. But we always try to help others whenever possible and we have been extremely blessed.
My grandson is not even 2 years old yet and I get him in the garden with me as much as I can. We have him 3 days a week and he loves to help feed the chickens and horses. It’s a mind set you have to introduce them to. Great video as always.
This video resonated like no other. We had been prepping for years. When I lost my husband last year, reality smacked me in the face. My circle has grown 10 fold since then. I know my skills (and my limitations.) I can meat and fish in exchange for part of the finished product. I trade baked goods for eggs ... My tribe may be old, but they've got my back and I have theirs

God Himself would have to walk me through losing my children or grandchildren . My husband and I have serious heart conditions, we talk openly and plan accordingly . One of my favorite songs says ‘you can have it all Lord’ and He can. I trust Him. I pray for my children everyday and their precious children.
Last night at 12:03 AM I heard the voice like that of living waters speaking in a language I did not understand (maybe Aramaic) and saw a round kaleidoscope of many colors. My body became almost lifted off my bed, like electricity came through me. I was scared and joyful all at the same time. Praise God the Highest. In Jesus name I pray folks hear him through the Holy Spirit of Truth. I had prayed to hear Him, and He answered. God Bless you Brother. Jesus is my ONLY prep now!

That is wonderful but you will still go hungry. Ever been out of your mind crazy hungry? It is not fun. Prepare and prepare to help others. Their faith did not stop the early believers from being burned alive. They have shown us the evil they are capable of so prepare.

I have had nothing. I have had little. I have had very comfortable times. Which is best?? Well they all had their good times and bad times. So change is to me a challenge, an adventure. God is the same through all of it. My joy comes from the Lord.
You asked if I would be content if I lost my family. My belongings, like my house , my land and everything Ive worked for. Since I got saved I discovered that everything I thought I owned is really Gods, God is loaning all these things to me, I call it blessings. All the power and glory is Gods including my family. I would be content if I lost everything I have,I think, but my family being taken from me I know I would not be content, I would not lose faith in God but Im a sinner and I hate to say it but I just dont know how I could deal with it if I lost my remauning family. We get through what is coming by sticking together and helping one another. We love, live and die together as a family. This is the test and trial for all the marbles to show the world that we are truly His. We are of God’s family if we have love for one another.

@Heather.. trust me you are not alone. I've been struggling for over 2 years. ( actually 11.5) I have prayed for my living situation to change. 3 weeks ago my Prayers were Answered!!!! I've put Christ first... I've been Prepping nearly 6 years. Very slack the past 2 years. It was easier to grab a Prepping item than going to the grocery store. I've used alot but replacing now. Sadly triple the price. Stay safe and you have many friends right here. 🌷

My youngest son who is about to turn 19, works 16+ hours a day most days and if not, he comes home and works that long or longer on our family farm. He works so hard and so much that I worry about him! He definitely got the hard work gene! All three of my sons are hard workers but not like that baby.
Jesus builds good work ethics in us, if we live for Him. Of course you do that without Him but what real eternal value does that have? None. I'm Nothing but a flesh man without Him.

Due to Covid these past 4 years, my family has become more self-reliant where I think if things got worse, it wouldn’t be a drastic change in our daily lives. Some things we have continued to do to save money like I cut my family’s hair and we take care of small medical things at home rather than running to the doctor for every single thing.
