@@LMW87MMA I agree with you, I would fold, those who are saying it is an easy call are severely overestimating the hands that she can show up with for value that we beat. It is pretty much 75s...and nothing else. If we had the ace of clubs I could find a call here (since Axcc are very plausible value hands), but putting all Axcc into her value range makes this a pretty clear fold.

calling 600 into a 2100 pot with two tens is an awful call. AT would be a better hand to call with since u have removal to ur opponent having an ace and either having a KX or JX hand. U can only catch a queen to win in most situations and the queen of hearts could be a devastating card. And if the queen comes does ur opponent pay off a big bet...not likely even though Lex does pay it off. This is a huge gamble to call turn bet in this scenario. Bad play. I couldn't tell for sure if the opponent had the ten of hearts; if so this is even worse to call the turn with because it eliminates so many flush draws.

I've watched so many of your videos where you are up 2 or 3 thousand and then leave in the red, because you played until the end of your ""session"". If you left every time you were up $2500 you would probably have a lot better overall profit long term. And if that means you leave after 10 minutes of being there who cares if they say you hit and run. Unless content is your only goal, leave when you are up. Same as with casino gambling, the longer you play the less likely you are to leave with your money.

For this reason is why it's a fold. Rarely will someone make a huge bluff on the river when it's the last hand or so. And I think if the guy had Q9 of hearts and was bluffing missed hearts the bet would've been bigger, pot size or more at least.

I mean, the first hand, what are we calling with? Are we calling with a set? Or we're only calling/raising with a flush? I think having the king of clubs makes it a good candidate to call. When she leads turn, I see that as weak and she's trying to do exactly what she was doing, protecting a weak 2 pair. Generally a donk bet on the turn is not going to be the nut flush or even a flush at all, which is why I would almost always call in this spot.

Pocket 4’s hand… that was a great river, because it ended up saving you money. What could you do? Not play tricky. Fast play your strong hands and don’t give gut shots free cards. He called $100 pre flop with 63 offsuit. Note to self for future reference. If this player is willing to call for $100 with a hand like that… how much is he willing to call with a better dominated holding? Then, shortly after… you get dealt Aces AND you only raise to $100 right after seeing the player called $100 pre flop to beat you with 63 offsuit has already limped? Why are you playing a rote strategy when you can be exploiting the spot at the table who has already demonstrated he will play ANY 2 cards for $100? I kinda get why you called his check raise, but I don’t get why you paid off his jam. You must know how imbalanced (value heavy) his line to shove after you’ve called his check raise is… 🤦🏻

You shot yourself in the foot. I don't know what you're thinking with your bet sizing! Your flop sizing should be based largely on how wet the board is. Both with the tens and jacks, the flop is 3 Broadway cards. You have bottom set both times; meaning you unblock top and second pairs, along with the straights and straight draws. You should be going AT LEAST 1/3 if not half pot here. You bet your HAND, not your range. Also, you should have absolutely been going for value with the A6. Your opponent obviously has a reasonably strong ace there. They would've bet a big heart on the flop. They were pot controlling for sure there. It seems that your run-bad is really affecting your decision making. Maybe take some time off.

River fold is fine at the start, especially if you don't know your opponent. Only problem is the turn play. Fold JJ. You have a 100% chance of winning 7k . You have some unknown % of winning 11k and you have some % of only winning like $4500. The worst thing to do is play until a certain time. Just quit when you start counting your profit and watching the clock.

Re that tilting hand to close: it's reasonable to make an exploitative fold there, given the live dynamic that the game is about to break. Sure, he _could_ be exploiting exactly that dynamic, knowing that you're up big, but he's got a lot of history against you, and knows that you're a for-profit pro. He's less likely to run that bluff in that spot precisely _because_ he knows that you don't think like a recreational player... So if he's going to be value-heavy in that spot, you can happily overfold, and save that 2k. In fact, given how you described the overall game dynamic (more passive, more multi-way flops), I definitely think you could have folded your way to an even bigger night in a few spots.

I played a similar hand with someone tonight; I had A10clubs vs JJ, he opens pre I call, he bets flop I call, he goes all in for 200 more on the turn. its 10 high flop all the way through. I told him I put him on AK and if he can beat my A10 he deserves it, I made the call and the river was another 10. I stacked him earlier with AK vs KKs.. its something about this eclipse that made inferior hands crush the best hands I think its. some sort of synchronicity dejavu with the double cat reference from the matrix its happening in real time. 10s been crushing souls lately. Just last month I lost massive pot against QQs for 3400+ I flopped a set he revered me. This week they have been taking me out of the hole. its crazy stuff.

over thinking too early. AK is AK, you have made worse calls with worse cards before, but you're going to win according to Title, so what do I know. Good Luck

Bro! Stop folding the top of your range! That goes to the ak hand and to the last hand with jj. I dont think you cab hero fold jj there it's a losing play and besides you played the turn very passively, your bet was way to small in my opinion, you wanna charge all those hand who has a pair and a drow - I would have bet like 1200 to 1350 but keep in mind your small size bet conveys weakness So there is a big chance there he picked up on it and trying to bluff you out of a weak top pair hand so the you played it I feel like you gotta call there. To sum up - bro stop over thinking, play the game and don't fold the top of your range.

After betting small on the turn I guess u can get away from JJ cuz he can def have KT, AT, TT or something weird containing a T. If you would have bet big on the turn I would 100% call the river as he shouldn't have to many straights there

First hand...You still just have a bluff catcher on the river. The fact that she decided to bet/fold (assuming) for such a big size is too bad. Key point in the hand I think is the huge turn lead. Seems to polarize the rest of the hand. Maybe best to keep it in perspective, if you hadnt seen her cards you likely would have been fine with the hand and moved on np. The river 2p is irrelevant...you still have a bluff catcher. 57 is basically the only hand she can bet for value that you beat with that line. Thanks for the vlogs!!!

You only bet $600 on the turn when you had the set of jacks. should've made him pay more to see the river.

You just sat down. Thought you might cry call, but never thought fold. 3 true outcomes apply to more than modern baseball. Hope poker changes 1st.

Lex! Love the vlogs but you fell into the fancy play syndrome multiple times here. Just bet your strong hands! That 6 way pot is a must bet. A6 is a block bet all day! Really good session to study and learn from I think

I stopped watching after the AK fold. Why the fk did you call the turn if your folding on that river? So bad. You need to be right 20-25% of the time.

Overall great video, you could have played the sets differently on each of your sets! I think slow playing the sets is not a great idea! If they have no hand be it...but letting them get a FREE turn and cheap River to get straight!! if they don't make anything they will simply fold so you will not make anything so it is rather a great idea to start betting from the flop and big bet on the turn. You may have won those 2 hands....but cheap bets kind of give them wrong signals showing no strength without nuts...is a RISK

That last hand is soooo tilting. You did everything right to win the MAX. Bet small on the turn to keep his shitty drawing hands in there. You just ciukdnt fad the 4 outter. Gross man. Tilted for you. Dodge that river and check, he definitely bluffs and you make over 10k in this session

i dont mind the 2 pair AK fold. She thought she was good. You read the strength. Unfortunate but not a very poor fold, Lex. Totally borderline either choice.

You showed up Late and were not ready to play! And that is why you made a Bad Nitty Fold, and this hand got into your head and influenced how you played the rest of the cession ! Plus, Typical pro move of try looking good making a great fold rather than winning the hand! Trying to look smart and wind up looking dumb!

That AK has to be a call there, you K eliminates flush combos she could have, and she could easily be going for value thinking you spiked top pair on the river, you won’t show up with many better hands

I think you just have to pay them off with top two, as they could be overplaying a worse two pair. as far as the last hand, you have to call there. Pocket just makes no sense. However, I think a big bet on the turn would have gotten him to fold. But then again, you wanted that action. Just didn’t want that river. 😜

After you flop 3 jacks on very wet board , you shouldn't be betting that small on flop and turn ...you let him get there with easy...bet big on flop and big on turn, he will fold on the turn and won't see the river...easy to talk after the hand, but the board was very connected to bet small
@charlesburks7469

That’s why you don’t bet 600 into 2100. You let him get there. You bet 1500 and he folds. You did that to yourself.
