Iuri is a track cyclist and he is the current omnium world champion and scratch european champion. He has been competing with Viviani for ages so it was funny to see this duel replicated in a road race.

Leitāo is also pretty good, been following him since a while and this year he's been having great results! Been riding on the same streets as him, in the north of Portugal. Nice to see him doing well!! :)

@@medleyshift1325 common tactic in US criteriums, but the Euro road races tend to have much longer straight run-ins to their sprints, so it's not really used. In this case, there was a bit of a curve at the end, but still, no one was expecting it and it only took a second before it was too late.

That was interesting, it seemed like he was gonna spin it up get on the wheel, and then others would get on his wheel, but he just let the guy go, and it seemed like he said something to them, probably "you should go chase him, i'm not." And then they let him get away...loll

The guy with the red shirt and orange helmet that goes from the right side of the road to the left @5:45 and stops with pedaling should be disqualified and send home. What he did was very dangerous and could have ended in a big crash. It's also obstruction of other cyclists in the final. What an idiot!

pat ik you're high on simmons and all americans but tbh those early season american wins come every year they are mickey mouse races 🐭 wouldnt be suprised sheffield, powless, simmons, sean quinn and co. never win a grand tour stage between them and we see sepp, mcnulty and jorgenson grow to be head and shoulders above the rest bc of their talent but also bc of their involvement with certain teams 💉.
