Seriously why is TORA'S chapter SO GOOD?! I was prepared to suffer through this, but Tora's chapter is surprisingly engaging and blessed me with a hot spring's scene... #jrpg #xenoblade2 #xenoblade
This video proves why I love XC2 so much. It's so awkward and cringe at times but it is very charming and I absolutely adore it so much, I don't care what anyone says. You are in for a treat for the rest of the game, there's A LOT you'll love. 😁
XC2 has been a great palette cleanser for me Tales Of Arise and Scarlet Nexus are so serious I needed a change of tone and Xeno2 has been just perfect so far
@@DeiZeiga Popoi is among the best blades in the game but to get that you need to play Tiger Tiger hundreds of times for your own sanity put the pride away for the sake of being completely game breaking
Small thing about levels in this game; as long as the level difference is nine or less they don’t really matter. At ten or more the enemies or party get a power boost known as level penalty.
At the heart of the XC series (even the older Xeno- games, despite more somber tones) is an earnestness with which it approaches its general theses. There is always a dark, violent underbelly to the core themes, but it allows for them to exist in a world that includes all the awkward, cringey light-heartedness as well, which is very believable. As horrible as the real world can get, we also experience all those other non-horrible things, too. We experience the calm, the funny, the romantic, the awkward, the embarrassing, the exciting, the beautiful stuff that makes the dark things hit so hard, and it's the pain of the dark things that makes the lighter stuff affect us so much. Each gives the other meaning and significance, and while it CAN get a bit (read: a whole helluva lot) "anime" with its storytelling, especially XC2, the intentionality with which the narrative weaves these many elements together works overtime to tell a serious, compelling, and human story that sticks with you.
Since you have Roc give Nia a Knuckle Claw blade then you can do the full driver combo of Break-Topple-Launch-Smash. Does big damage and even drops items including core crystals.
Tranquility is for sure one of the best quests in the game. It's a long one, and sometimes it feels like one task too many, but its one that really makes you feel something at the end
There aren’t many comments that I can say about this game, this chapter pr even the comedy style you choose it’s just all great. Keep pushing these kinds of videos out they are perfect for a game like this.
@@DeiZeiga I’ve played this game too much to cringe at anything related to it. Also Nia with Wulfric is ok for now but when you get another party member that isn’t Morag I recommend putting him on the other driver. For now though it’s fine. Also DO MORE BLADE COMBOS.
Man, every time you release a new video it's such a treat. Keep up the good work, you put so much more effort into those videos than most channels it's insane!
This was a great video, I honestly gave Wolfric to Nia because I already gave Rex roc, so I wanted it to be even in a way. And Bess’s quest was really sad. But I’ll give you a hint Vess is a healer type of blade so I gave her to Nia. But only you could decide the fate of your game just keep having fun with it 🙃
That's the same reason why I gave Wulfric to Nia lol. And Vess looks like she fits more for Nia since she's a healer and I'm still shocked by justt how suddenly Mabon died like dam
@@DeiZeiga How did you like the Vess quest, I told you last video that the reward was a bit higher than most other side quests. I did not want to go farther or else you would know the old man dies.
I really enjoyed that quest way more than I was expecting but I didn’t think Mabon would straight up DIE I was heartbroken and she’s not gonna remember Mabon or his kids it was a great quest but dam it was a gut punch
Really enjoying this series!!! Currently playing through it again as well and wanted to watch someone else play it too and I’m so happy I going you!!! I was a bit worried at first since you had so little subs, but your editing and stuff is honestly fantastic and you are pretty entertaining as a whole :) :) Keep up the good work :)
Ah Tora, the Nopon that's younger than Rex and a genius for making Poppi all by himself. (some help with blueprints) Living alone for years because his grandpa and dad were taken away. Even if he has some... *interests* he's still a kid, that's been living alone and his only influences were those 2 up until meeting Rex.
It took me SOOO long to find how to get to that low island where the golden bracers are in Mor Ardain. I feel like I looked around for at least 2 hours before taking the shot to my pride and searching it up
Since you can eventually awaken Vess, you should put her on Nia. Wulfric isn't very good on Nia, however, you can do a pretty easy Blade Combo since you can do Earth Earth Electric now. I'd always suggest going for Blade Combos and Driver Combos above all else, since that is how you can truly rack up damage. Everything combos into everything in this game as you will see, until you do millions of damage on chain attacks and whatnot.
If you want Mythra's Super Smash Bros design with the tights you can get an aux core called Massive Melee Mythra from a Nopon in Argentum. (I think his name is Brobro, but I'm not certain) It also gives a large increase to crit chance, so it's one of the stronger aux cores you can give her until post-game.
@@DeiZeiga It's still worth picking up as effectively a Critical Up VII aux core (better than any other you can pick up) that works on any Blade. It only acts as a costume if equipped to Mythra (which is still generally worth it because of Lightspeed Flurry alone).
@@angeldude101 Oh yeah that's a good point, you can give it to Pyra or Wulfric to synergize with their crit damage, and you don't have to worry about giving them tights.
No idea if you're done with the game or your videos come as you play but, in case you wanna upgrade poppi best thing to do is pick "easy" (terrain wont hurt you and it has 0 downsides), and play stage 1. If in one screen you - Pick all crystals, pick all chests, and finish full life, you get between 1.5k and 3k ether crystals per game.
“I wanted her core crystal but i didnt want it like that “ i mean since she was out and about someone had to die for you to get her and at least one of the blades aside from story blades had to come from good people
For playing Tiger Tiger play on easy the rewards the same thing regardless on Normal and easy. Easy was added in a later update it keeps you from taking damage from those walls but you still take damage from everything else. For blade affinity charts like Pyra's cooking if you have time in between recording just gather items and make her cook even if she doesn't have the Affinity yet it still count towards it.
@@DeiZeiga Yep and Vess has it too but it'll take a whole lot longer to get it up. Also when using blade Combos complete it with the element like Light Light Light or certain elements can't combo like ice so use wind ice ice to combo you can see the blade combos by looken at the top right of the screen. When finishing a blade combo you can set up an orb set up 5 of Different elements and destroy all of those you can go into a ful burst. I think it's 5. Also uses the blade of the orbs weakness and you can hurt it badly break the orb and you can continue the chain attack. Example of an orbs weakness Ice is effective against wind and Wind is effective against ice. So what I recommend having at least a party with 2 of 1 element like fire or water. Also Wulfric is not good on Nia he's best on Rex and 1 other driver but I'll tell you more later.
By the way, sharks you can hit anywhere, but red ones take two hits, turtles you hit from the bottom, and jellyfish you hit from the top. But having the DLC gives you a bunch of Poppi parts and frankly you should just get it for the DLC blades and story anyway so do that instead of playing Tiger Tiger
since you like tiger tiger so much heres a bit of advice There is no downside to playing easy mode The rewards are exactly the same, the only difference is that you dont get hurt touching walls
If you play Tiger! Tiger! on easy you don’t take damage when touching the terrain. The rewards stay the same so there is no reason not to play on easy.
When this game first came out a decent amount of people thought Nia's secret during the hot spring scene was that she was trans. Not the case but it would have been cool, we can settle for nonbinary Roc
So you might have run into it while researching for Vess's quest but, the purple splotches weren't because your game was broken. It's a rare (18% chance) weather effect only available on Mor Ardain called Geothermal Haze. Basically the Mor Ardain Titan is passing gas XD. Essentially the only thing this weather does is, in one specific, small part of the titan, a type of strong monster (not a unique one though) will be spawned in addition to the regular enemies that spawn there. A couple of the other locations also have unique weather but the only other ones you could have run into at this time would be Crystal Sleet and Petal Rain while on Uraya.
8:37 my comments are very out of order (mythra hot) I mean uh what? But this tight spaces shit is literally 1(mid af) attack being her level 4 special, in all other scenarios (bar a blade combo) mythra is completely superior to Pyra gameplay wise. 11:14 Unironically prior to the DLC this was the blade to use for nia (due to a bug that allowed nia to do skips other characters could not) for the entire speedrun, so yeah it's okay on her. 19:13 No joke it's probably titan gas, take that how you will.
As a note, there’s no benefit to playing Tiger! Tiger! on normal difficulty, you’re completely better off playing it on easy. It disables damage on collision with surfaces, so gathering chests is much easier.
sense you showed the chain attack i think now is time for a tip that will prob help you ALOT in the late game, the game kinda expects you to use your blade arts and to get those combos going that you see in the top right, you will want a fairly diverse set of elements you can do the combos, when you finish a combo a orb will start hovering around the opponent, when you chain attack you will damage the orbs, elements beat each other and they will flash when you have a counter element (hint without DLC mythra is the only light blade to beat dark orbs) it take 3 hits to break and orbs or 2 if you beat the weakness, if you break an orb you can continue the chain attack for another round, the chain attack will end if either you dont break an orb in the rotation, or if you have gone 3-4 rounds total, this makes the later game fights much easier to handle cause you can get them set up and basically nuke them after a bit, BTW @19:25 was prob the funniest reaction i have heard in a long time, my stomach still hurts from laughing too hard
I don't use chain attacks a lot because I use the party gauge to revive usually quite a bit lol but thanks for the in depth advice and I wanted to strangle Tora in that scene XD
@@DeiZeiga yeah its something you have to balance just right or it will thrash you, once you get comfortable with it tho its pretty easy to manage, especially when you get some of those deeds and accessories as they help keep and generate the party gauge
so wulfric on nia isnt a terrible idea as in my opinion its a good idea to have at least one damage blade on her so she can help and 2 heal blades to keep her healing up and agro down, otherwise can just go full healing, you will be able to change who gets what blade a little later in the game or you can just release him and you have a chance to reacquire him later (dont recommend it but you can if you want to)
I wasn't remembering XC 1 that well, but now that I'm playing it, I can safely say the Nopons in that game are much less annoying. Still, Tora is the least annoying in the game. 4:03 And savage AF.
@@DeiZeiga No idea, it's pretty much a blur. I tend to block less pleasing memories. Watching Muimui just awakened a feeling I had buried. I think Muimui is the most annoying, but that may change. Still, as you saw, Muimui is a murderer, so Tora being savage to him (even though he's not aware of it) is pretty much justified. Also, according to the lore, Nopons used to talk normally, but since people liked more the way they talk now, and it was more beneficial for them to talk like that, they adopted that type of speech to their culture. I think you learn that in some side quest or something.
@@DeiZeiga I may be wrong, but I think it was more beneficial to them business wise as well? I'm not sure about that part, I just remember it being more beneficial to the Nopon. And I totally agree with you. It's both ridiculous and amazing.
@@DeiZeiga Thanks for your effort, the editing and the humor, I dont follow usually gameplay of games, especially like Xenoblade 2 that I finish one year ago, but you are an exception. Keep going like this, I cant wait for more of Xenoblade 2 and Fire emblem three houses xD
