Ah, yea, the love for any type of hobby can come and go. Especially when it becomes part of your job as well! Focusing on the basics, the initial aspects of what made you love it in the first place, is a good way to bring the joy back :) And we're so glad you were able to do it on the Nomad N3! Though, of course, thanks to the amazing riptide bushings.
I have your X1 and absolutely love the ride . I also get that it won't matter what bushings you sell on the board , we all have different likes and styles. Love your work Acedeck .
I just... like JUST got my Riptide's in the mail and it totally transformed my Titan X. I honestly didn't expect it to make THAT much of a difference but wow!! I'm about the same weight as Scott and I put two 96a (gray) barrel bushings in the back and up front I left the stock cone bushing but replaced the barrel bushing with a 93a (rose). Much more stable now and almost no foot vibrations. I'm old and my feet would always give out before my battery did. Not the case anymore! I went out the other day and ripped hard for 22 miles with no foot discomfort. I had no idea that $20 worth of bushing would make THAT much difference. 👍🏻
Just got back from an evening ride on my Onewheel GTS going over everything in my path with music in my ears. Had a big smile on my face just like your. Ragging around on PEV’s is the best hobby I’ve been involved in. 🍺
I'm just back from my first ride with Wine Red Krank bushings based on your recommendation and, wow, yes they are perfect! Kept all the carviness but suddenly so much more stable and giving so much more confidence! Thank you for the great tip! 👍
ahhhh that board looks so fun!!! now i have to go skate on my lunch break!!! I know i said it on your other video but man I love my Stella S3 from Acedeck! that thing is still kickin and working great well into 1 year of owning it and when i finally have the disposable income to buy another board there is no question on what brand because its for sure going to be another Acedeck the only question is what board willl it be? for sure either this or the Nyx series but more than likely this board will be my next upgrade(Unless they have a newer version)
i would argue the x3 is the best camera for esk8ers ...got hold the x3 correctly not at the seem but where the lens is facing you fully .....my got to camera !!!! just takes awhile to edit , also looks like you dont have on stablization ....dont mean to nitpick nit i love this camera and your content ....
Please note that as setups are very personal. My friend likes his soft af. I like mine hard. Cuz i rip that board when i get rhe chance. Now i will be buying 7in novas fairly soon.
Your last vid made me think of swapping my riptides up a bit, been running 4x93a on cupped pretty much since I got my N1 last year. Now I'm running a 93a boardside and a 90a streetside with cups on front and rear, and man, I can turn now. I was a newbie then and needed the stability, but it turned like a yacht. Now it's much more maneuverable and still stable at high speed even with my 105kg riding it. Great vid. Shit camera though haha.
I wish it was a simulation then I could just download my new Z3, I've been waiting over 60 days and I still wait and tracking says it's not found, I'm getting nervous, great to see you enjoying your ride 👍
Put riptides in my Eovan GTS Carbon Super - completely different board. Stable and maneuverable. best bang for buck upgrade if factory bushings are rubbish.
