The problem with naming it the switch to is you got the Intellivision 2, which was just the redesign of the intellivision one with lockouts to prevent calico from making games for the Intellivision. The switch to does that necessarily imply that it's a new system as case with the Intellivision 2. I've seen some preview footage of the joy-cons and it looks like (assuming those pictures are accurate) they're going with ambidextrous joy-cons, that can be played with either half on top on either side picked independently and as single controllers that are either right-handed or left-handed. More ways to switch it up you can play it Dreamcast style, PlayStation style, Xbox style, Saturn style.

I’d say that I’m really hoping for a wireless connection ability, you can keep the dock, but less cables, less headaches

I think the switch 2 should run games like ff16 or ff7 rebirth. Crisis core reunion is a ps4/ps5 game so i think they can do that

Oh! Don't forget to give it music, wallpapers and personality reminiscient of the 3DS! Nintendo said they didn't include it with the Switch because they don't want distractions, but couldn't they make it optional. Not everybody has the same opinion. Also they should add previous soundtracks as "Legacy Music" or something. They should also use that unused Nintendo Switch Shop theme.

I think the other thing that needs improving on the Joy-Cons and especially the Pro Controller is the triggers, they should make them analog.

I think Nintendo should make a switch 2 home console version, which would be around as powerful as a Xbox Series S or a PS5

My ideas for the switch 2: SIM card slot-you can play online games on the go -message support-you can text and hang out with other people that have a switch 2 Phone call support-able to phone other people Video call support and camera-able to take pictures and video call your friends Gps support-able to track your... Wait. Am I wanting the switch two to be a phone that everyone has already and doesn't need another one?

If Nintendo’s next console took some inspiration from the best aspects from the Switch and the 3DS, I would be a happy camper. I want the Switch 2 to have more personality, and maybe a clamshell design.

lets just say you have a nintendo account there should be if you log in using it games you bought before should be added in like if you bought cuphead on eshop and used the account that you bought it on, then it should be in the switch 2 or if you bought games in lets say a store you can use the gamecards

The best thing that they wont do is Pc connecting. It would be so awesome to play on ur nintendo console on Discord with friends while having smooth game play. The reason that they wont do it is piracy, the nintendo app and more.

Knowing how greasy Nintendo is, they will do lcd at launch then save oled for the future

Heres an idea for rhe gimmick, whicb may be likely, due to reoccurring patents; is the ability to screen cast to any phone, tablet or Switch 1 via imternet or local wireless network; and utilze those devices as additional controllers thay can join and play multiplayer. This woild work with single screen or splitscreen games OR games that would otherwise be local wireless or online only EXCEPT the other users dont have to own the game or even have a Switch to play with you. The only caveat is that you all would have ti be part of the NSO family plan and THAT would make the service worth it to me and be a good way to get users who are on the gen e about getting a Switch, to eventually want one.

I read an article that guessed nintendo would release 2 versions of the Switch 2. One being cheaper and not much more powerful, and the other more expensive but more powerful. I think nintendo is scared of giving their consoles more power because it ramps up the prise, meaning the parents won't want to buy their 6 year old a console that is more expensive for a feature that doesn't matter. This would solve that problem
