Another day, another pain free cow and yet another year since Graeme randomly showed on my youtube thread, changing my life for the better.

I know that these are very large animals, but when every I see one in pain, all I can think is "Poor little baby." Thank you for taking such good care of them. I love cows. I live across from a dairy farm. I love visiting all my buddies!

If you routinely work on the same cows, do they get to recognize you and understand that you are who gets rid of their foot pains?

I haven’t thought to ask this question in a while because we haven’t seen the Appleton crush, but why can you lift all four hooves simultaneously in the KVK but only one (two with Craig) at a time in the Appleton?

Am 70yrs old and just love seeing your videos, and all the hard work you and your brother in laws do for all the poorly cows thank you and keep up the good work x

My best friends were cows when I was a kid. Not sure if that’s sad or lucky. Hoof gp is therapy for me, and I think we all feel like we know and love Graham. But the subliminal advertising caught me by surprise “Be seen in lime green?” Took me 4 retakes to read it.. What’s it for and why subliminal?

i love hearing how much all of you care for the well-being of the cows! i groom dogs for a living and the number one priority is making sure dogs feel (and look) their best. it breaks my heart seeing any animal in pain and i’m glad we can help some of them ❤

You do nice work, give out good information and some good humor, too. I think that's why you have so many more subscribers than other hoof trimmers. When I had my cows, 40 years ago, I didn't have trimmers I could trust with the hoof problems you fix every day. When I first saw this channel, I thought you were a vet. I did have a great vet, but your dairymen save on vet calls that I had to make. Although lameness wasn't a common problem for me. My cows were pastured as much as possible. And I got more milk when the cows got some pasture, even in winter. A lame cow lays down and doesn't walk often enough for food or water. Milk goes down. Lameness is a big deal. More of you should give a thumbs up. He works hard and still makes a video for us, too. When I see the greenish-brown spots on his face, it reminds me of my cows. He spends his working day looking at the business end of a cow. I think that deserves a like. Old dairyman from Oregon

I know you've been doing this for a long time, Graham, but how can you differentiate between the reasons the cow is limping. The infections is what I mean. I could see, right away, she wasn't just limping, but actually, walking on the tip of her hoof. I used to trim my horses and my milk goats. I lived in the middle of no where and was difficult to get a farrier of any kind, and I had to make my vet appointments months in advance, or for emergent problems, I had to drive to my vet over 30 miles for treatment. So I learned fast on caring for my animals when things went sideways on me. In fact, I had a refrigerated lock box in my house specifically for medications I could use. I had a great vet as he was just a phone call away to advise me on what to do and what to give . Heck, I use to do my own suturing if needed. Taking care of animals so that they are comfortable and happy can sometimes be hard work, but it's also a comfort when you know you've helped prevent their suffering. Awesome job!

I've used angle grinders for general use for the past 10 years or so, so I know how much material they can move, in a scary amount of time. Have you ever caught a cow with it on accident, and if so, how would you recommend people not run into that same issue?

Been Watching for over a year. My wife has overheard the videos. She and I purchased 11 acres (USA) and plan to get a few cows. She has been paying attention to what is said about things in cow's hooves. She has been picking up every rock she finds in what is to become the pasture for the cows.

I was wondering if you might do a video on the history of the knives, grinding wheels an techniques evolution through the years. ( Remember the GIANT trimming knife someone made for you?).. I thought it might be cool to see how things have changed since you started the channel. Just a thought from a fan in Canada

I had a similar issue this morning.. ingrown toenail had become infected and very sore.. Because of this channel I knew exactly what was going on and was able to relieve the pressure and feel immeasurably better.

After watching this guys channel and seeing other hoof trimmers I give you props. These other ppl are just f’d up 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ using paint brushes and scrubbing brushes on live tissue. No care just chipping away cows are jumping around. It’s more torture than a trimming. Straight animal abuse a lot of these other trimming vids.

I love seeing how the cows come out of the crush when you’ve seen them and they’re in so much less pain. You can see it sort of go through their head as they start to walk - “Oh, hang on a minute, I can actually put this foot down better now that a second ago, and it doesn’t hurt as much! Wtf?! That man is a wizard!” I just think you can see exactly what is going through an animals head when something changes for the better. Xxx

How long ago would you estimate that her injury occurred before you were on the scene? A hospital pen? I din't get anything like that, lol. My wife got me a mug of coffee and pointed towards the door. She knew I was going to work regardless.
