I put Nilight rock lights from Amazon on my truck, 18 total. Each are grounded off one main ground that goes down either side of the truck, which I'm working on changing. I used barrel connectors for each, they are pretty good overall.
I installed RGBIC rock lights on my Escalade off Amazon. 1 in each wheel, 2 in each running board but two were broke so I had to have a new set shipped out. Now the back 6 like to flicker when the color is white . I think ima just push the connectors together hard and tape em and hope it stops the flickering.
this is from the video YOU have have all your Wheel wells out and you use a crimp style connection with duct tape.. OH hell NO.. put shrink wiring wrap over the wires. Solder the wires together. Put the shrink wrap over the wire and heat up to seal the connection. Then is if more not the duct tape you used. GO get electrical tape.
@@bradleydouma9573 I know how to wire stuff I’ve wired 20+ led lights including pods, bars, strobes, ect. I think it’s just a bad ground. I always double heat shrink my connections and use spade connectors that seal together on all my lights. I also wired in an aftermarket fuse block to run all my lights with no issues. So I know what I’m doing I think the ground bolt might have some rust on it or it’s not a good enough ground for the control box. Thanks for the input tho!
also never on running boards or rocker panels will cause problems. he was right in the video to go higher into the frame or body also the higher more light will shine down if no obstetricals in the way

Bro at the end ya it does look good. But I will never let you install those lights on my truck!! I will install them myself. Really Silicone to hold up wire. absolutely not use zip ties and also hide you wiring better. Biggest thing also!! YOU have have all your Wheel wells out and you use a crimp style connection with duct tape.. OH hell NO.. put shrink wiring wrap over the wires. Solder the wires together. Put the shrink wrap over the wire and heat up to seal the connection. Then is if more not the duct tape you used. GO get electrical tape.
1. There’s nowhere to zip tie the wires up so I use silicone 2. I didn’t use duct tap it’s electrical tape I used duck tape to keep the wires to the fender liners 👍🏽 3. There’s no problems with crimp connectors
