Just the fact that she knew this much-covered song at 9, knew it in the original, and made a tribute candle to its author, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, is amazing. She mastered not just a song, but a whole genre. (I definitely like her versions better.) Music is in her blood. And she never strains or scrunches her face up to show us she's having an emotion as so many singers do. She arranged it and convinced a serious band to back her. She's fearless and in charge. Keep going. This just the tip of the iceberg.

First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. Her early influences are Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and Etta James to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. She entered and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, " Wow, what a rendition!" She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity. Even more remarkable is her innate ability to communicate those same emotions to her listeners.

Harri, she is singing (there is at least 1 video) since age of 1,5 years. She discovered shortly after her grandparents jazz collection and YT and knew exactly what she wanted to do in her live at age 3. Since then, so we learned she practiced singing 6 days a week for 6 hours daily. From the age of 4, she studied music at the music academy in Oslo and later the academy in LA. The teachers showed her technics, but singing she taught herself. When a kid, she went out with her japanese grandfather into the streets of Oslo. He helped the homeless in Oslo, bringing food and sometimes got a job for them. AJ went out in LA on Christmas, bringing dinner to homeless people and wishing them a good Christmas (confirmed). So now you understand the meening of her first phrases in "Million Miles" about the streets seeing her growing up while he held her hand.
