It's surprising to think that at her debut on AGTC, at the age of 13, with great courage she decided on her own to test herself with such an iconic song and distorted its appearance with such a beautiful result, turn it into a song of HER, with a fantastic reworking, a calm, powerful and terribly emotional interpretation, accompanied only by the discreet sound of a single guitar, with that very brave and fantastic start acapella. She loves to sing and does it exceptionally and in her own way. 🤗 ❤️ This little girl moved at 11 with the whole family from Norway to Los Angeles to allow her to follow a dream that she had from a very young age, of becoming a great singer.

The people who work with Angelina say that most of her performances are recorded in one or two takes, including the Grammy winning producers at Republic Records. The AGT performance was at a slightly quicker beat.

I don't believe Queen had to OK her version, she was able to copyright the arrangement because she made it into a totally different song with her unique arrangement.
He said that Jim Beach (their manager) could do what he wanted with Freddie's music - "remix it, re-release it, whatever". And it meant only songs Freddie wrote, mostly his solo material. "Show Must Go On" is Brian's song.

Listening to "her" version of the Bohemian Rhapsody is like a whole new experience, it's a whole new song, her song, soft, yet just as passionate as the original.
This is the two golden rules of a cover: 1) RESPECT THE ORIGINAL 2) MAKE IT TO YOUR OWN That goes extremly well with her cover of Bohemian Rhapsody! And Angelina have done this to each and every cover she have made on RU-vid!

Angelina's fans have praised and loved her since she was a small child. She has an incredible history. She began singing at one and a half years old and by the age of three was listening to jazz and the classics on repeat, singing along and absorbing styles and techniques. She was a true prodigy. Norwegian born Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8 years old singing Old Time classic songs that are unheard of in a child that age. She became the youngest ever winner of an international Got Talent Show! Since that time, up to her present age of 15, she has recorded over 135 songs on RU-vid which you can find on Rusty shackleford's homepage on RU-vid. It is a chronological list beginning at age 6, her first time in the studio. List consists mostly of cover songs, and approximately half a dozen originals which are over the past year or two. Just to backup other comments -- check out her live performance on AGT. AJ was limited in how much time she could take, and consequently that impacted her arrangement. Thanks for more Angelina Harri. This is the version she performed for America's Got Talent at 13 years old. Queen tweeted their approval and gave her permission to copyright her rendition of the song they liked it so much. It is short because AGT only allows 2-3 minutes so she had to shorten it and what you see is her copyrighted version that she was allowed. IMO the actual performance on AGT is slightly better than this one. Simon Cowell said "It was an amazing performance". She just turned 15 Jan.10, 2021. Loved your athlete analogy! I would encourage you to view some of her earlier songs from 8-10 years old. You will be just as moved by many of those renditions. A fan favorite is "FEELING GOOD, Live on the Stream Gir Tilbake" at 10 years old with an incredible jazz band broadcast live on national TV in Norway. Another is "CRY ME A RIVER" Proysenfestivalen 21.07.2017 at 11 years old. There are several versions of each of these but these 2 in particular are the best IMO. Only Angelina Jordan has the musical genius to arrange Bohemian Rhapsody this way. She made it a emotional bluesy ballad which makes you tear up. The surviving members of Queen liked to so much they posted it on their Twitter. Angelina Jordan is already the Queen of Jazz an Soul.
"It was too short." is a common "complaint". Replay buttons are very useful. The America's Got Talent Champions live version is a bit different, but she really shines in front of an audience. I also think it’s worth tracking down the AGT performance that includes Heidi Klum’s comments and “golden buzzer”, if only to see Angelina’s emotional but a little bit subdued reaction to going to the finals. It is special to see her overwhelming joy.
She sang this on agt the champions if possible even better and yes she got the golden buzzer. She also did a crazy good version of Elton John's goodbye yellow brick road maybe even better than bohemian rapsody.
Great reaction, Harri. I see others have commented on the original performance and, I agree that the live rendition was even better. A headline on Smooth Radio 97-108 last December said, "Best TV audition of all time? Girl, 13, sings staggering original soul version of Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody'" While they did put a question mark in there, I think it's more a statement than a question. The version you listened to was posted by Angelina with this note on her Instagram on 24 January 2020: "After tons of requests, I made this one for you ❤️👑👸🏻Link in bio" You may be interested to know that another reaction to this (only it was the live version) by a vocal coach that goes by the name "Fairy Voice Mother" has become one of my favorites. She starts out being very much the vocal coach, stopping the video every few seconds and explaining the technical details about how Angelina was singing the song. Somewhere near the middle of the song, she started visibly trembling and almost seemed to be having trouble breathing. She spent the last half of the song sitting and watching with tears running down her cheeks. After the song finished, she eventually composed herself and did go back to the technical, but it's the emotions that Angelina triggers that set her apart from everyone else.

You need to see Angelina in front of an audience to get a better feel of her personality and her style. I actually like her AGT performance better than this one. But you’ll see her humbleness, her confidence, and most of all, she’s there to sing. No unneeded actions or vocal gymnastics. She’s there to connect with her listeners, and that connection is immediate. Watch her other solo performance on AGT of Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road and see Angelina one year ago mesmerize the audience and the judges. She is the best singer I’ve ever heard.
The song was short because America's Got Talent limits the amount of time each singer can utilize. I would highly recommend you view the AGT performance live. I think it is a bit better and you get to see the live audience reaction!

When her record label (Republic Records) , family and herself want it, they can just push the button. Many people forget that she is only 15 years old today because she is so mature for her age. She still goes to school. and I think everyone on her team including the record company (Republic Records), slows down a bit with marketing her. She is so good anyway, so she can not be ignored. She delivers music that lasts, and not music that lasts for a few weeks as plastic hit. Angelina has over 500 Million Views on RU-vid and over 2 Billion Views on Facebook overall on her videos. Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the Age of 8, and has been producing masterclass level vocals ever since. The only and regular marketing is done by the fans via RU-vid. All the important top personalities in the western music industry know who she is and what she can do. In just a few years, I know that we will see great things from Angelina.(Google translate)
Great, thanks! She's known for slowing songs down as she did in this version, which is why people are recommending the AGT-C version I think. They're both amazing but not substantially different. I think you're right and this was likely recorded in one take. One half of 'Stargate' (record producers) recently compared Angelina to Beyonce & Sam Smith, saying these are the very few who can record in one take. Happy to see what's coming next from you!
A word of advice, if you have to choose between a studio recording and a live performance - go for the live performance. It'll most of the time be superior to the studio recording. She's one of those that shine most brightly live.

Slightly different from the AGT performance. The show allows for 2 mn or so for each contestant. Queen's version has a long intro, very theatrical with a lot of music instrumentation and vocals which can't be performed in a competition like AGT. Angelina had to choose part of the song and she chose the most iconic and memorable segment of the song. And it was FA-BU-LOUS.
At 25? She may be too good to where we may need pacemakers and oxygen when our heart skips a beat as she takes our breath away...heck she's doing that now!

I watch several versions of Bohemian Rhapsody and my favorite is the one that was the one (Lyrics). 2 Sections I particularly touched, the first begins at [I don't want dye] and the second begins at [Oh Baby]. The Variation of this version in these verses is the only time I have heard it and above all I would like to hear it in other Songs. I'm sure I'm not the only one who hears it!

This one is not on my list of Angelina favorites. It is still better than the most part of the popular music of today though. I have only chosen 82 other songs from Angelina that I like a lot on my list. She can sing everything. Always pitch perfect. It's hard to choose one favorite song, when something like a 100 songs or more is better than the original. Angelina is of course my favorite artist. She has put a spell on me. And she is still practically a child. Now I'm just waiting for the world to get hit by the Angelina effect.

You should have reacted to the live version on americans got talent the champions.. Its absolutely amazing... She did 3 songs on there. Bohemian rhapsody, yellow brick road and someone you love wich you should react to... You will not regret it..
As good as this was her AGT Champions performance is even better , she used a little different ending which I think was more amazing , Angelina creates as she sings no two versions of any of hers is exactly alike, She is always trying to improve, her talent is spontaneously magical. A live Audience brings the best out of Angelina is most performances.
You should have checked out the version from AGT the champions when she performed this song. It's better plus you can see the emotion in her face. AGT only allows about 2 minutes or so to perform. I know, simply too short. She got an outstanding review by the judges and the golden buzzer
