I have question. 53 million divided by how many illegals is the real #. Very upsetting but also don’t forget cities spend billions upon billions for homeless and where has it gotten us. We got no pay outs, yes, we came here legally, there was so much paperwork and money we had to pay out. Also, We had to prove we had enough money to support ourselves. And had to prove we were up to date with our vaccines. Kids wouldn't get into school until we proved and showed the vaccinations they had. I lived in Senegal, and many have a very relaxed approach to life! I would go to the supermarket and sat nearby were women who sat on buckets, the buckets were used to store some of the things passersby would give them. That was their 'hustle'. There was a massive begging culture there like HUGE. I am not sure about now. It was very different from other West African nations I have visited.

It was just yesterday that they re-arrested one of the 4 - 5 men who helped beat those 2 NYC cops. Others were also arrested & they were all charged with petty theft. Authorities found and arrested 3 or 4 of the others involved in that beating in Arizona several days ago.

I called Veterans for the homeless and they told me of some local "shelters" I can sleep in. I'd rather sleep in my car then in bug infested bum rooms. I still work, I just don't make enough to afford an apartment here in Tampa as rents are insane now. This is so unfair, so many of us Veterans could rebuild our lives on 3,000 per month, but we're ignored. How is this fair? The same excuse, my mother survived as an undocumented person for over a period of 4 years before getting a green card. There are jobs but they don’t want to get their work permit because once they get a work permit their public assistance as asylum seekers ends.

My mother and I immigrated to this country in 1978, and I witnessed her incredible determination to obtain her papers while working two jobs. Each of my siblings entered the country legally, and we all became U.S. citizens, graduated from college, and have been law-abiding, tax-paying members of our community. It's outrageous to see migrants receiving benefits when there are American citizens who genuinely need assistance.
I worked since I was 14 years old. Was born here, I am elderly and disabled and only have my hard worked for SScheck I just lost my food stamps because Covid ended...I have thousands in utility bills and wonder when they will ve shot off. These illegals don't have the worries.

These migrants can only stay for 30 days. Then they’re kicked out of the hotel and have to either take a flight back to their country or move to live on the street. This “reporter” did well to interview people but he did not study the system that’s in place and why there are so many migrants on the street.

I work for a small hotel that only housed* 40 families and the government was paying us about 300k just in rooms per month. Plus a full staff of National guards, 3 meals a day, nurses came daily, buses for kids schools, transportation to all appointments, food stamps and more! I wouldn’t believe this if I didn’t see it personally.

I came to this country 9 years ago fully legally, I paid everything on the way, visas, all the document fees never asked for anything, the biggest benefit my family got was free lunches at school for my kids in our first year. I'm a US citizen now. I pay taxes. Got laidoff last year, had to wait 2 months to get unemplyment payment. And all these people are getting everything for free. Tell me this isn't messed up... I can't even imagine what people who was born here think about it, paying taxes all their lives to get this... Taxes are no joke here in America.

Being a 35 year old male who was born and raised in this country, with a wife and child to support, I have always supported myself with no help from my government. Last week I lost my job and unemployment will only compensate me 40% of what my usual take home is which is not enough to cover my bills. My foodstamps/EBT card got shut down 2 months ago. Because I make more than $50k/year. Me and my mother (American citizens) still can't afford groceries. These people get handed help to them. What kind of dystopia are we living in?

If you actually look at the stats though, red states have a lot of crime issues. Look up "murder problem in red states". Many also have poorer health and education outcomes.
Democrats have good policies but bad politics. They don't fight for anything. They just point at the Republicans and say, "Get a load of this guy! Vote for us instead!" I was a Democrat and I switched to Republican 20 years ago. Democrats virtue signal for votes. I have a friend who got educated in Boston University, from the Islands, she has been trying to be legal for 5 years, but the immigration is back logged and can’t handle her case.

I'm not sure they are getting Medicare yet. When we lived in Florida we had alot of illegals down there. They would use the hospital ERs like a doctors office. Doctors offices would see them because they had no insurance. So they just used the ERs. Took my husband to the ER in Naples, FL one night with a really bad gallbladder attack. The waiting from was full of illegals. None of them even looked sick. But by law hospital ERs cannot refuse to see them. It's doubtful they even paid the ER bill. So what happens is healthcare costs rise to cover for those who don't pay. In return you pay higher healthcare insurance premiums. But I'll guess now that we have millions here and more coming, it will destroy our healthcare system. So if you wonder why your health insurance keeps getting higher and deductibles are very high, this is one of the reasons. Illegal immigrants and Americans who cannot afford to carry insurance.

Meanwhile, our gov. spends billions on supranational dubious projects like building cycling tracks in Peru (315million).. The people will leave because of taxes, just like California. The wealthy will not want to live there anymore. Then what happens when no one there to pay the taxes? No more money to take care of their city. It's going to be like a third world country, like California or worse.
@@flyingthesails6801well, the city didn't have the tax money to support them, so they went to federal government. Yes, everyone that pays taxes in US pays federal income tax. That goes to federal government, now federal government has given NYC money to take care of the immigrants. So, yes all tax payers are paying for this.
THE BIRD FEEDER ANALOGY I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with birdseed. What a beauty of a bird feeder it was, as I filled it lovingly with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the poop! It was everywhere, on the patio tile, the chairs, the table…everywhere! Then some of the birds turned mean. They would dive-bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. The other birds were boisterous and loud. They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. After a while, I could not even sit on my own back porch anymore. So I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio. Soon, the backyard was back to like it used to be…quiet, serene, and no one demanding their right to a free meal. Now let us see here… Our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care, and free education and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen. Then the illegals came by the tens and hundreds of thousands, millions. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; apartments are housing 5 families; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor; your child’s 2nd grade class is behind other schools because half the class doesn’t speak English. Illegals squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties. When asked why they breed like cockroaches, the reply is that it is a cultural thing. It's long overdue for the US government to take down the bird feeder. Otherwise, we will continue cleaning up the poop!
