I love the way you wear them down with logic, common sense, and constant interrupting questions. Kind of like a Forrest Gump; simple-minded, but still smart enough to ask sensible questions. You're controlling the narrative the entire time, while at the same time they still think they've "got" you. How did those scammers bungle the scam up so bad? First they messed up the editing of the bank page. Then they mixed the refund scam with the tech support scam and tried to lock your computer. Then they tried to just proceed with it as though they never screwed up.
International online operations are hard to prosecute I guess. Maybe it’s not worth the resources to chase them down if new ones keep popping up every day: or the same ones under different names
So let me get this straight, a representative of "Norton" tried to steal $1500 from a customer, and the "manager" decides the best way to resolve this situation is to have the customer purchase Target gift cards? Sounds totally legit. I don't see a problem with the logic behind this at all. (sarcasm noted haha)

I love this... I told one scammer my name was Ernst Stavro Blofeld and he asked if I use a computer, I said Yes! They control my missiles! We then go onto my hollowed out volcano...and I blamed MI5 for the windows bug in my computer. Then after 30 minutes I told him I ran Apple Mac's. He was sooo angry.

I'm confused why there are so many comments about her playing a 'karen', what is it about a woman who confidently applies logic, or ask questions that screams 'karen'?
A Karen started out as a version of Becky which was originally an over-entitled woman shouting her mouth off for no reason. Often the black community would highlight a Becky or a Karen who would call the cops seeing a person of color in their neighborhood. It's kind of offensive to use a generic woman's name to state that any woman protesting about something (in this case against thieves) being a loudmouth. My given name isn't Karen, but it's kind of reductive to say 'woman being assertive equals woman wrongly confident and entitled' Rinoa is playing everyONE who is being scammed. I agree with you. What on earth is wrong with confidently calling out thieves? Why SHOULD a woman keep quiet because a man is trying to siphon the money out of her savings?

People fail to understand that stupidity is an intelligence. It really is important to understand that scammers can actually be really smart people. As the saying goes: The more fool proof you make it, the smarter the fool becomes. It goes two ways. OP up there has had practice to scam the scammer. The scammer however, it always depends who you talk to from those countries, which is often india. You can blame people who fall for the scams. Listen to what the guys are saying, not just how she responds. Pay attention to the wording, that matters. Knowing your english, grammar and context all matters. NO it does not mean the person deserves to lose their money. However, it doesnt remove responsibility if you aren't paying attention. You do not need to be a victim of a scam to understand what they do. To understand the intelligence a scammer can have. They get away with these scams because people buy into it. If something is said in confidence, people buy lies. Its getting to know how to tell if it is a lie and that comes with practice, by listening and comprehending. Practice can be by watching. OP up there has had practice talking to the scammers as clearly seen in her videos. Its not her first one, as a clue. However I would not be surprised if she took some studying on how they talk. There are many crimes in which you have to be smart to commit. A notable one is Frank Abagnale. Whom many should have heard of by now. He is a scammer, he is a con artist but you cannot deny how he was smart enough to pass the bar exam and forged a transcript. That cannot be done by someone who isn't smart. Bad ideas can be accomplished well by smart people. So that being said its not excusing the scammer or con artist but it does mean that if the person cant prevent themselves from being scammed. In a society that wants awareness about everything, they sure dont want it to not be fooled by a scammer. You cant outsmart the scammer if you are not aware of everything they do and how they convince people to buy into scams.

I just love you! I had a scammer call me once and I had so much fun pissing him off! 🤣 He claimed he was with the IRS and that I had a warrant out for my arrest for not paying my taxes.
I saw some comment about the same thing and they said to the scammer they'd look forward to being handcuffed and they were putting on lingerie and would be ready 😆 he hung up
