I love how easy it is to do LAN parties with family and friends with the Steam Deck. Got my cousins into PC gaming and now I get to enjoy them sending me invites to play games with them.

@@PeteTalksTech Gang Beasts, Battleblock, Portal, Halo, Micecraft(java & bedrock), Factorio, they're still young so anything family friendly is great and great on Deck (to ensure a pleasant UX). it's just nice to get away from my room/desktop, game with family, and be with people, though I'm also waiting to be able to play more mature/zombie titles, like 7 Days to Die and Dying Light.

It has an amazing screen. I don't use my Playstation Portal anymore. I've installed Chiaki (learned the installprocedure via your youtube channel btw 😊) The Oled screen when Hdr is turned on is a sight to behold. Perfect for remote playing Playstation 5.

I’m exactly the same a.n! I turned on my Portal for the first time in weeks yesterday but just went back to my SD OLED as you say with the incredible HDR on Chiaki4deck, mind blowing! 🤯

Just got the stream deck oled. Not sure if i like it too much. Has its pros and cons. Holding it doesnt feel too comfortable as the stick feels a bit too high up on the right side, and the bumper button is kinda poorly shaped and placed, which i noticed when i started playing elden ring where you use the bumper often to attack. Love the console-feel, but i would like more power. Been testing chiaki4 from the ps5 streaming and from steamlink. Chiaki4 is impressive, but feels like its limited by the 800p resolution of the deck. Picking up an open box ally today.

@PeteTalksTech I love my OLED Limited Edition Steamdeck. As I've mentioned before, it's the fourth steamdeck in my collection. I did the last half of Ratchet and Clank on it. Looked amazing. Compared to the rest of the handhelds in my collection, it's on the lighter side, but it still feels premium. It's definitely worth the money regardless if you already have a deck or if you're getting one for the first time. It's quite the machine. I'm going to play through the Half-life games on it. Love your vids, love the quotes.

You’re absolutely right with the SD OLED - just in these first few days it’s exceeded what I thought, like you say in how light it feels and how incredible the screen is! Look out for a TON of content on this, alongside all the usual ROG Ally content too of course! 🙌👀

Great vid! I sold my steam deck at CeX for about £300 right after the announcement (I rushed there lol). The only problem is that I couldn't afford to upgrade fully yet, so I've gone without a handheld PC for 3 months. Luckily, Nintendo has had some decent releases in that time. I've ordered the 1tb model now, and I have a 1tb SD card from my last one which I can't wait to fill. It'll be here in the new year.

@@PeteTalksTech I bought the cheapest Steam Deck LCD, and witnessing it drop in value by 30% overnight (CeX prices) was painful. I got around this by placing a 'Drop & Go' order at CeX, which meant that they honoured the prices listed on their website for 3 days. So although the Steam Deck OLED went on sale on a Thursday, I was still able to walk over to CeX on the Saturday and sell it for the old higher price. It felt like living dangerously, though, as I wasn't sure how long it would be before the prices fell 😅

Of course Justin, look out for TONS of new exciting content re. SD OLED (alongside all the usual Ally content too!). My advice is if you can, keep the Ally AND get the OLED for the reasons I mentioned how they compliment each other in the vid 👍

The reason is the screen, battery, remote play ,emulators,support community, accesory And upcoming FSR 3 support. ❤ , i dont have this but i am planing to buy this in future ,currently enjoying my rog ally with 4TB. 🎉🎉

Geez… I could really use an extra TB. I just had to delete some good games from my Ally to make room for MW3. It sucks because I already did the process of upgrading it to 1TB. Should’ve went for 2 🥲

You’re right Lord, non steam games/third party launchers like Ubisoft, EA, Epic are SO much easier on Ally compared to SD, and you’re right I’ve been blown away by the OLED in my first few days with it!
