Hi Chuck, I noticed all of the pots and pans hanging at the sink and kitchen window, in our kitchen we ended up hanging a pot and pan rack from the ceiling to save room. It worked out nice I think. That might help you in your remodeling. Just a thought.

Hi guys❤ our dinner tonight is your recipe for meatloaf that you made your mum, lovely Kara, when you were caring for her. My daughter and I never used to make it or like it much, until you posted your recipe. We have it regularly, its the best. I've also learnt so much from Paige's mum about cooking Thai food and local ingredients used. I am a cook and my partner is a chef, for 30yrs. Forever learning. Chuck your kitchen or your old cabinets you should use some of them as a dirty kitchen for you outside and then also you can always put the rest of the cabinets inside of the garage. Maybe you can make a little kitchen over there in the garage because you said in the future, you want to make that another apartment for your mother.

I hear you Chuck. It's like half the stuff you used to know in the US is different here because all of their electrical stuff is a bit different. Plumbing is worse. We mostly only have PVC pipe to choose from.

Enjoy your channel. ---> At about 2:15 of this video, while you were talking about the kitchen remodel and needing to find a contractor to do teardown of the existing fixtures, you said "We've got to time it right." Man, I laughed and laughed. A reminder: This is Thailand, mate. There IS NO "timing it right!" It'll go how it goes, and you've got to be prepared to bob and weave, shift and adapt! But I've been watching you for a while, and I know you sabe. (And I know you know enough Spanish to know that word! 😅 ) No criticism intended. Just wanted to let you know how tickled I was to hear you say...... in Thailand, no less....... "We've got to get the timing right." It'll be fun to see how THAT works out in future episodes! Hahaha! *************** (My wife and I are in month four of a five-week, 3-room addition to our hotel in Kanchanaburi. The guy deigns to show up about twice a week, so, even if we try to replace him--boot him off the job--he can sue us, saying, "I didn't abandon the job; I'm still working on it!" [Got this from the local police colonel, as he told us "don't do it! That'll only make trouble for you!" 😅 He could sue us for completion money, even if someone else actually finally did the work, apparently. Yikes! 😅 ) Keep up the good work! Cheers! (I'm from West Coast, USA, so I'm not sure why I threw a couple of Britishisms in there. Lol --- 14 years in Kanchanaburi, off and on.)

that wiring inside the house would drive me nuts! I'd have to westernize it a bit after figuring out what wire went where. That box would end up looking like a nice sub panel. All those wires with just electrical tape on the ends? 😒 Safety first! 😆

I think that the caddy meant that the driving range opens at 10am, as they say 4 (4 hours after 6am or pm).... It's a bit odd system of stating the time though...

You look like a guy who has done some remodeling. If I was there I would help you. I rarely did my own electrical for safety reasons. I learned wood working but my wife has never put out any of my work on display. I hope you enjoy doing it and the frustration is low. 😮
