turkeypopcorn Definitely better than JHUD she was wrong for the role, but I don't think anyone could beat Queen Latifah the simplicity she used to sing that song made it all the more beautiful

I like both Jennifer Hudson and Alex Newell interpretations of the song. Both versions are really powerful and uplifting. I would favor Jennifer's version slightly based upon commercial appeal.

Alex is good, but Jennifer Hudson is simply better, you can hear the rawness and pain from Hudson performance. My vote is Hudson, go get that Emmy.

He sounds great, I can't deny that but I prefer Jennifer, lets face it he is still a man with a great voice, and Jennifer is a woman with a great voice. When Jennifer sings she is not trying to inmate a man she is singing like what she is a woman.
