We all know and love Lucie Fink, but what you may not know is that her father Jimmy Fink has been a New York radio DJ for the last 45 years! Most notably was his nationally syndicated radio show Continuous History of Rock & Roll for Rolling Stone Magazine.
Lucie Fink must learn to warm up her voice, understand the control panel, go live on air, and take a listener call all on her first day at 107.1 The Peak. Watch as Lucie learns the ropes of what it takes to be a radio DJ. Who knows, maybe she'll carry on the Fink legacy!

Didn't even know it this whole time growing up in NYC (& living here)! Literally the only radio station I listen to (other stations just don't have good music & repeat too much). You both have an AMAZING sense of humor. I really enojoyed this particular episode, LOVED IT! I've been in radio 30 years and my favorite show was the day I had my daughter on with me as my co-host. It was my birthday and that's what I told her I wanted. She got up at 5am to be on with me starting at 6 and did a great job. This video brings back all those great memories. Nice to see you two having fun in the studio.

omg adorable My mum was a radio presenter too! One of the first in post-war Bangladesh and notable enough that I've run into people who remembered her from yonks ago. I did some community radio too and she was all EEE RUNS IN THE FAMILY

Lucy, i love radio and have loved it since i was a kid. Now, at 55, I find voice tracking and computer automation to be very bad for the radio industry as the human element is being phased out and the resulting radio content suffers because of production quality. It's not that ipods and the other music options have become so good. It's radio that has become progressively bad. I really wish that there were more live personalities on the air today. When it comes to the quality of your end product, people care... computers don't.
