Did you play it in Master duel? And how does it perform against runick?

@@faolin4789 Master Duel Mathmech is significantly weaker than TCG. Circular makes the deck work. The matchup against Runick is not that great, cuz they can just pop your normal summon. Your best chance is probably blind second with lightning storm, droplet, dark ruler no more etc

circular the card that sends sigma for cost, then summons itself, then searches superfactorial then you can make alembertian search diameter, diameter revive anything make splash mage revive anything make heatsoul (once it comes out) make linguriboh then draw of heatsoul turn 1 and 2 and 3. that is like an insane 1 card combo which gets you 2 draws by your opponents first turn (good for drawing handtraps) and liguriboh for a trap negate, and superfactorial being a send 3 and an omni-negate. it really is insane isn't it? but i mean what archetype wouldn't benefit of off a card that sends for cost then ss itself and then searches a spell/trap. ontop of that because of alembertian you still have circular even if you don't open it, and you can also search it with cynet mining too of course.

They're already rouge. If anything, they'll be in meta for a bit. Won't be Tier 0, but they got a good shot at beating some Tier 0 decks.

They're going to be tier 1.5 behind Spright and Tearlaments. They have a good matchup into Spright but Tear is pretty tough unless you've already sided in prep for them.

I don't think follow up is their problem. Wickid turns your superfac into a revolt which gives you diameter, a 1 card accesscode. I think their problem is their turn 1 board is genuinely not even that good despite needing multiple cards to combo, at least until we get circular.

Mathmechs were also featured in a manga about the card game the takes place in a normal real world environment before Sky Striker got its lore manga, so I like to refer to both as the Manga decks. The new support for both also kinda reverses their playing styles. Mathmechs wound up becoming more control oriented between Heatsoul and Circular, while Linkage and H.A.M.P. push Striker towards a much heavier Aggro leaning now that they can just OTK after breaking a board.
