I don't understand why people call Katherine smart for this. She was so obvious. She could have possessed another body and ran but instead she was jealous and petty and her obsession with Stefan got in the way.
Whenever somebody on the crew was off Elena would sense it. She would seek them out to understand and help them. It made me angry that no one could tell she was acting different.
How is it Elena could tell when everyone else was off, but no one noticed when she got mind slipped by Katherine? Sure, Elena was a weak character, but she had heart. And she loved all of her friends.
Thank you. I just never got the Elena hate. I mean yes she was weaker then Katherine the 500 year old VAMPIRE😂😂 But people act like she was just awful and that everything wrong that happened was her fault when if you watch the show and actually pay attention in most of those situations it was other people excalating the situation and then Elena getting on board as damage control. I loved her in the first 4 season it was just after that I didn't feel like the writers stayed true to her character. Yes she had her selfish moments but come on everyone else did to and far worse then she did it's what fleshed the characters out and made the interesting.
@lashaymanning1229 The writers did her dirty. They did Vikie dirty too they could have made a strong character out of her. Enemy or Ali they could have made her grow. Elena was just tired of people trying to dictate her moves. It's like the writers wanted her to rely on other characters, but she was strong just didn't have a chance to show it.
Yeah. Like how could nobody realise that it wasnt here. I mean go back to where ahe was running to damn. She was frsntic and worried. He shouldve known aomething was off. Aswell as stephan. Since he knew her. More . I felt so bad for her. Elena derseved to be able to live thoses 3 weeks,but instesd katherine did. Look baxk to tyler. Tyler knew something was off,he did never tell anyone when he sussed this, tyler couldve saved elena sooner
Can we appreciate the fact that everytime there is trouble concerning Elena and damon, Stefan and Caroline are the ones to figure it out😮. Eg:- when Elena was sired to damon, the trouble mentioned in the above video......what do you guys think🤓🤔
Actually the first person to figure out the sire bond was Klaus, he just didn't share with the group and was like _lol have fun figuring that one out byeee_

They figured it out..So, they know her (especially Stefan)...Sure, they took time but it was not there fault bcoz it was unexpected. Afterall they did witnessed Katherine's body, so it was totally unexpected...
They honestly should’ve figured it out sooner though. Caroline best friend for her whole life was being possessed by her evil doppelgänger for 3 weeks and nobody noticed until the text message “Help K”. Elena needs better friends.
Because Caroline was there immediately she got the text she arrived there but it was too late Nadia already made him forget so Caroline knew something was wrong because he forgot that he texted Caroline
I kinda felt bad for Elena tho, imagine your boyfriend and all your friends who would literally die for you, can't even tell the difference between you and a much older vampire for a long time even after she broke up with her boyfriend
Eh but its also because they (Elena and Kat) have similar personalities and character flaws I could see how you could get them mixed up when Kat is pretending its incredibly easy
Katherine is so smart. Managed to last ditch enter Elena's body right before she died and then before getting expelled from the body into hell, she injected herself with some crazy wolf venom just to make sure Elena does not survive as well
Going back to the scene this moment is hilarious Like they can go back and think to themselves all the times the mask slipped but they genuinely believed Katherine became a better person only to realize she absolutely hadn't
yes, it's true that katherine is a mastermind and all but bestfriends for life right?! caroline and elena, how could she even not figured out that until stef did all the math?! honestly....i liked bonnie and elena as friends, people call elena selfish but she's the one who's willing to sacrifice herself when the wolf pack tried to kill caroline
Honestly, they kinda sucked as friends. Elena could ALWAYS notice when something was even the slightest bit up with her friends, and it took them THREE WEEKS to figure out that Elena was being possessed by Katherine. And tbh, these people were just bad friends in general. Caroline “accidentally let slip” that Damon and Elena hooked up, Stefan tried to drive Elena off Wickory bridge, Matt drugged her and kidnapped her, that’s why I loved it when Katherine who was pretending to be Elena “accidentally let slip” that Caroline hooked up with Klaus.
They figure out so late tho I was also kinda irritated that Stefan and Caroline will be the ones to figure it out i for sure thought it was going to be Bonnie and Matt 🙃🙃🙃
U know i love Stefan and Caroline when they come together they figure out everything i mean they figured out Elena was sired to Damon a very similar way (No offense Stefan but Caroline mostly did it)

It's very clear in the episode she was noticing everything like i don't mean to offend u but clearly ur not a fan cause or else u would have known that but ur also not very smart or ur just dense but i think it's the latter. She saw Elena was acting weird with the whole Damon dress=Red and then multiple other things like the blood bags, the listening to his words with the relax and stuff, and killing Conner. Klaus was intrigued and said she would figure it out and later on she started piecing it together and said that's what Klaus was talking about, Klaus only said she'd figure it out that's all. @@maricoleman1414 Yes but that doesn't mean she realized it only bc of him, she realized it bc she was talking about sire bond and then put the pieces together and u said that Klaus is the only reason meaning he did all the work and gave her the evidence when that is not true. She did the work and it's bc of her she knew not Klaus.
This scene always bothered me. It’s like the writers needed them to “figure it out” but didn’t know how to let them know it, so they rushed and put this together. This was major reaching…no way they had enough context to put this together. It’s always bothered me
She kinda deserved it so did Damon they left Stefan in a box underwater for the summer while they were they fuckin all summer and when he got out he wanted it to be them but it wasn’t it was some stranger and they didn’t even try to look for him
@@dayswithkay_1 i think this person means that they’re the worst because it took them a while to realize their friend wasn’t really there friend. elena was constantly screaming inside wanting her friends to bring her back but they all didn’t see behind the act so ig they really just didn’t know her.
