WHY DID YOU TELL THE SECRET OF THE ASIAN PARENTESSS
@shii5795
@shii5795 3 месяца назад
My dad held onto my red envelopes for 18 years. Every year he deposited them into an account so they could grow in interest. On my 18th birthday, he gave me a check for around $50,000 and I got a truck for work and college. I hated that he held the money when I was little. But damn I was happy he held it for me when I turned 18.

You spend the entire 50k on a truck? Could have got a good used car for 10k and have lots left! You dont need a brand new truck for college, what are you going to transport in that flatbed, two tons of books?

After I turned 12 I never needed my parents to deposit my money for me, I received a junior bank account from them wherein I could deposit (and withdraw) money by myself. I was never someone who spend lots of money on toys/games or whatever, so my junior account was never empty; I think my parents were lucky to have an easy child in that aspect. Before that, I put all my money in the piggy bank and then my parents went with me to the bank to empy the piggy bank into a savings account they had opened for me.

Oh, the music~ When I was 16 and just at my first job, I had saved $1500 (45 years ago that was quite a lot) and my elder brother asked if he could borrow it and he would pay it back soon. He never did. Several years later I told my dad, and HE gave me $1500. He was a lovely generous kind dad.

Oh i play the violin ;D ye the singer has to sing the voice of the father, son, Elkonig (Elfking) and narrator. Its about a dad bringing his dying son to a doctor on his horse ( hence the galloping) as they ride along he hallucinates and sees visions of the elkonig who is supposedly the grim reaper teling him to join him while the father tries toget him to stay on by the time they arrive the son is already gone@@megan_l_yt

lmao, relatable. My parents caused so much financial strife in my life. When my great grandmother passed away, I was inherited thousands, which my parents took for themselves. Worse: because I had to open a joint bank account with my parents as a minor, when I was in college, I remember trying to withdraw money from the ATM and I couldn't. Turned out a lien was placed on all accounts with my dad's name on them, including mine. Before she died, my mom even had the gal to accuse me of "elder financial abuse" as if I hadn't been abused by my elders, financially, my entire existence.
