I hate it when RANDOM creepy ass men tell me to "smile". Why don't you do something to make me smile instead of screaming it at me on the damn street or better yet LEAVE ME ALONE.
Loni and Adrienne are definitely inner city girls at heart. You just don't be smiling at people in the hood like that lol. This segment was hilarious. And I don't believe Tamera lol. I've seen her give Tia that "don't play with me face" on their reality show. She definitely has a mean mug, but she seems like a very approachable celebrity. She's the type that wouldn't turn you down for a picture. Neither would Jeannie
Empressive I think she just means she can’t turn it on. It has to be a real emotion for her. That’s why she said she had to think of actual sad things in order to play that role.
Sometimes I force myself to look serious on purpose so that I won't be bothered. Why is that you can have a serious look, have earphones in listening to music, walk fast, and some men STILL try to talk to you. LEAVE ME ALONE. 😒
gigglyfitzgirl when I pass a group of men ( usually they're hanging on the corner near my grandmothers house ) I put my headphones in and pretend like I don't see them at all .
gigglyfitzgirl earphones are a life saver I swear 😩 turn them shits all the way so I won't get annoyed when I hear whistles & catcalling. Idk if it's just in NY, but the men here HATE rejection. I've been grabbed by the arm multiple times.
Dee Jay What?? They grab your arm?? 😫 That's too much. In Philly it hasn't been to that level (in my experience). The most I'll get is a tap on the arm or shoulder. The worst thing that's happened to me is one guy shouted out from his car that he wanted to "eat my p******". I was so humilated and angry. But I'm grateful that no one has ever grabbed me. Idk what I'd do.
I also hate the comment, "Why are you so quiet?" . Especially from coworkers. I'm minding my own business and doing my job. You should try it. Maybe then you could get that report out that the entire damn department is waiting on your talkin' a** to complete.

i was saying the exact same thiiing!!!! i have seen her give a serious no nonsense look!!!! but she did once mention it in her reality show tho, thats why she would usually takes the funny quirky character/sister and tia takes the all serious face character

I have been told that before. A lot of the times I am just thinking about something, not really paying attention to what is going on around me. Almost always I was not mad, just in deep thought. Why do men assume you are mad because you are not walking around with a smile plastered on your face?
Today a man in an elevator told me, "Smile, it ain't that bad". I told him my dog died, even though it was a lie. He looked so awkward, and I felt happy to have called him out like that. I shared that story on Facebook and it made me upset because all my guy relatives are backing up the guy! Like I'm sorry that HE stepped into MY business and told me to smile. Wanna cheer me up? Tell me a joke. Tell me a compliment. Make me happy. Dont fucking force me.
Alyssa Rae OMG. exact same reaction the first time I heard that one. Completely shocked; I wasn't even 16 [cant remember exact age bc it's as though it was something that happened too often and not just once I reached my puberty age (aka sarcasm)] and a stranger said that to me.

When I smile a lot of people say they love mine because I my dimples show and it looks genuine ! However some peoples smiles work against aka Jeannie because some people always feel she puts on a facade when all she really is doing I suits being positive and excited... There's nothing wrong with that either !

I thought you looked mean. But I was so wrong!!" That's an insult, too! Just blanket statement, I look mean. I didn't speak or act in any way. Smiling can be a short way of greeting someone whom you are familiar with with out right speaking. I feel like say hello is good too if you had not forgotten that person.
Women who smile less are goal orientated and have tunnel vision. They are confident and know their worth. When you get to see a woman smile that rarely smiles, it’s so much more rewarding and it feels genuine. I don’t get why people prefer to see smiling people all the time like they on crack. Like chill out, let my face muscles rest in peace.. jeez.
Hey, I have had the same problem. People always asked me why I never smile and this one kid in 7th grade asked me why I never laugh and he kept trying to make me laugh. It was annoying as hell
This is such a great show, the ladies are great & you can tell they really do care for each other! It’s refreshing to not see them sitting up there fighting over one & another! Great job and here’s to many more seasons!
When I was younger ( like toddler and like that age) adults, almost always male, would tell me to smile and I would look them straight in the eye uhh ntil they would leave me alone with this serious face and I'm so proud of my baby self still.
Started laughing so hard at the library when Loni was telling her "SUV" story!! I had to turn off my phone so fast before I embarrassed myself 😂😂 nah I needed that laugh after such a long day. Omg yes, the last time I was told to smile was in the store while waiting for medicine for the pain I was in. So I told him, I usually do but I’m in pain right now.. he didn’t know what to say after that but “oh sorry.”
