Ever since I first met them in Ukraine I have fallen in love with their community spirit. After producing a few documentaries about them in Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania, I recently went to Sweden to meet a Roma family. In this film, you will learn how the Romanis were treated when they first landed in Sweden in the 1500s and how their life has been so far in Scandinavia. You will also learn how along with the jews, Romani people were executed by the Nazis.

She is very intelligent & emotional girl! ❤ & absolutely right about the fact that no matter what color their skin is & which place they are living now & which religion or culture they have adapted, they share the same DNA! The fact that they are recognizing it, instead of denial shows their uncanny attachment with India & Indians! I just made a poetic phrase for her: "Ye ladki hai Romani, Jiska blood hai Hindustani!"❤😊
