I am devastated to say this, I lost a claim. Up until this point I had 100% success rate with all PIP claims, mandatory reconsideration's and tribunals.
But, no more. I knew this would happen at some point. Well actually, I never wanted to experience this.
I will always be honest with you. So, I wanted to let you know as soon as possible.
Please be aware that I have about 6 months of videos done in advance. So, if any intros say I have 100% success they were completed before the loss. I will update the descriptions of all of these videos, to make sure people understand I no longer have that success rate.

My name is Charlie and I am disabled. I live with chronic illness, I have a severe form of Psoriatic Arthritis and its crap! I am in pain all the time and always battling fatigue. BUT, I will not let it win. I love to learn and to laugh (even though it hurts my arthritic rib cage LOL). You will often see Ollie (she) my black Labrador. I wish I could disagree with you, but having seen the facts that some individuals DO lie.....HARD....on what we say. I think I actually agree. Those of put us through an extremely degrading process and then do NOT write the truth. I think they should at the very least: - Be formally investigated at Gross Misconduct level - I would like DWP to share the stats with us (not to breach GDPR), but for example: Internal investigations completed = and then number of employees no longer employed = But, I think that would still breach GDPR/confidentiality in some way. I am in the process of doing a test. When I get the outcome, I will do a video on it Thanks for commenting xx P.S My only priority is us/you.....the people suffering with chronic illness. I try to just focus on that and not get distracted by knobheads LOL

This is the nexst scandal it cruel to put sick people through this. When you go to a tribunal, where is the accessories they should be there also to put forward why they came to their conclusions of you illness.

I got a message before we got to 1,000 subs, saying they are watching me. Honestly, I thought: GOOD, if you were not such a bunch of c#nts then my guides would not be required and I would not get views. I am very positive about the whole thing (normally), but I will NOT be threatened. That just fuels me to win even more. I think there is a chance you might be right. I am not going to attend Tribunals any more. Its just too much for me and I do not want RU-vid to be a risk of negatively impacting anyones claims. So sorry, I'm shocked. They don't know how you really feel, and the suffering. It is cruel and heartless. But please don't blame yourself, you did the best you could, and no one could ask for more. You have helped so many people selflessly. We need more people like you in the world. I could give you a big hug. I have heard the DWP is close to going bust, they apparently, don't have enough staff, and they have a big backlog. The staff are stressed, low-paid and with the amount of work is too much, moral low. You look after yourself, you have looked after us. I have fibro too. it's no, life. I'm glad you have a family, I have no one. I'm scared to even take money out of my bank account, or spend. You are amazing and should be damn proud of yourself. We love you dearly. Don’t feel down babe! They are really cracking down on this big time! Having had PIP awarded for 5 years, this year i received zero points and even I know that a dox box is worth 1 point! I am appealing with the help of the money management team at my housing association. They have been VERY supportive. I shall keep you updated 😘

My missus is a support worker, she has filled in hundreds of forms and attended dozens of pip assessments. On every occasion that a client has had their claim rejected she's gone to court and won because she's called out their lies. She's had assessors claim that blind clients could "read at normal font", say that paraplegic clients could walk unaided. The real tell is that if you ask to record the assessment they will terminate it and if you covertly record it you can't present it as evidence. Another thing worthy of mention is that courts are sick to the back teeth with these untrained unqualified monkey's employed by these parasites the dwp award the contracts to so please, go to court because it's almost a guaranteed win!

Always secretly record everything, even if you can't use it in court. When any conversation is finished with them, let them know that you have recorded everything that's been said and would they like to ammend or change anything before the interview over.

They would terminate the interview and put you down as a no show resulting in the loss of your PIP.

Inform them in an email you want the interview recorded a few days before the assessment and you will be recording it as well. Start recording as soon as you are called into the room for the assessment.

So sorry for how you feel and for what the family is going through. I had to go to tribunal when I first claimed for pip, and I was explaining I have M.E and one of the panel members said oh yes we hear a lot about that in here but not in the real world. I didn't really give it much thought in the room but afterwards I was thinking about it and she basically had called me a liar. The way you are made to feel by these people is disgusting. I did win at tribunal but it was a really traumatic experience . Thank you for everything you are doing to help people, you are an amazing young lady.

I failed last year as I wasn’t mentally stable. This year I called Citizens Advice and they are going to help me fill the forms out. The council sometimes put on training regarding filling out forms. Good luck all. Healing hug. ❤✌🏼🙏🏼

hi charlie, Sharon here, thank you for everything you do, you truly fill me with confidence , I have said to you previously that I wish I'd found you before Id filled out my form and had my 3 HR assessment to be awarded the same lower rate , I got awarded just 2pts for being double incontinent due to bowel cancer plus many other issues going on, Arthritis fybromyalgia and more.... im waiting for the outcome of a mandatory reconsideration, I think the idea of yours is fantastic for helping to understand and complete pip forms .....confidently, Charlie you'er truly a Godsend to us, thank you, wishing you an amazingly happy new year, X X

I had my pip claim dismissed a few years ago .when i read what the person wrote who interviewed me , nothing was written or mentioned about my health my whole report was judging me on my appearance and stated i was dressed smartly and was a very pretty young lady so i got 0 points.

Yes, Best wishes. Break a leg( as they say in show business - it’s reverse psychology!!) Do you suspect you’ve lost because you ‘put yourself out there’ so to speak?? You’re quite high profile now. Maybe they are trying to bring you down a peg and make an example out of you? Just my thoughts. I wouldn’t put anything past any of that lot

System is so broken. It's nearly impossible to get any help, waiting list, assesment, 'oh we don't do that. ' Back to gp, No one reads the notes, or properly listens. Feels like the entire thing is set up to look after ITSELF, not those it's meant to be helping. When you have chronic illness just trying to move or eat now and then takes all your energy, forget watdhing, its eat OR wash. To plonk paperwork of the length and complexity, is impossible for so many. So very sorry to the person who was denied, it's not you it's them

Quite right. This lady and the quiet unassuming gentleman Alan Bates, who has spent 20 years unraveling the corruption in the Post Office , all in his own time and expense. It’s people like these that deserve gongs. NOT some overblown politician or fancy pop stars for ‘services to music’ while they earn multi millions to indulge themselves .

What a wonderful person you are . For my wife and myself it has been a battle our Daughter has Asperger’s syndrome . For now it’s fine we worry about the future when we have gone. The last time they questioned her PIP was just as you said, you tell the truth and they write a complete load of lies.in the end we consulted our Doctor Who has known our daughter from day one, what a man he took precious time to write the accurate truth about our daughter in the end, she came out with more than we asked for they chucked everything at her which we refused, only requiring what we were entitled to, when they try again we will definitely use recording equipment. You are doing a great job never ever question yourself on that subject……..Roger.

You are doing a great job thank you so much , so many people like myself included do need some help with these forms. I think a small course is a great idea thank you Charlie, I'm a new subscriber and I am amazed at the good, and so very helpful information that you give us. PIP is like working through a mind field. I am on a lower rate of pip as I never knew of you a year ago when I claimed for Pip. If they are watching you, then they've proven how they dont listen/hear whats being said. Above all else, you've promoted honesty. Seems to me what your advising on is merely the wording so things are not left open-ended Keep up the great work. Ive helped 4 people get their claims through. I wish Id found you earlier though; I may not have stressed so much. These peoples claims are all going to be reviewed this year and ive been dreading it. My partner was lucky the first time she applied, she won and got 3 years. This was during Covid. She had reaply when it was running out, kept us waiting until after it nearly run out before we did a phone assessment. She was given 5 years, this is for enhanced PIP. The phone calls both times lasted about 40 mins. And we were told instantly of the decision.

Im worse, i use more aids now a motility scooter evan had a special scooter lift put in the car so im no longer house bound . I wish id found you sooner. Im so worried theyll stop my pip. My quality of life is awful .but ive heard terrible things about people loosing their pip evan when they have got worse . Afetr hearing you i know i should have been brave and said more about my loo problems . Sometimes i fall asleep on the loo . Inbtween bouts of runs . God its miserable. Charlie you should be advising people to have someone else fill out the form. If the claimant fills out the form themselves it is used against them. If you have to spend 100+ hours on a single claim then you know something is wrong.

Hi, NO. Having someone fill out your form is 100% OK. I have done it so many times I have literally lost count and those were all wins. Also, there are many organisations that offer this as well, PIP even have a section on the form where you can get someone else to fill it out for you. The issue with this claim was nothing to do with process. I cannot go into detail, but as I said 100+hrs Verses 8hrs and a win on the 8hrs. I did make mistakes and I will learn from them. You are right, 100+hrs on a single claim....there was something really really wrong. I should have stopped the process earlier. Thanks so much for commenting Charlie

I just found your channel I have been worrying I am getting a telephone call soon from PIP I assume it's to check if my claim is still valid, the thing is my health has really changed since my first claim, not for the better but I was too afraid to tell them in case they stopped my payment altogether!. Nobody should have to live in fear of losing money when you're incapable of working. Anyway glad I found you I am not looking for advice btw I think you have a lot to deal with.

I have worked all my life but with a Type 1 diabeties for 44 years and 6 injections a day. With all the problems with this chronic condition when I was found to be going blind and now with very little feeling in my feet so much so I stood on glass at Christmas didn't know until noticed my sock was wet but it was blood. I have PTSD from the Falklands War and cannot stand burned food which sends me into a complete depression for day's and my mum has just died before Christmas who would check on me for eating or if I go into a coma and call a ambulance, as I collapsed into a coma in Tesco 3 months ago as got my blood levels incorrect and woke up with Ambulance crew around me so applying for PIP end of the month and have watched your threads and you impressed me so don't let the bastards grind you down Charlie.

I went to my tribunal in March 2020, I was so distressed by the questions, I even tried to take an overdose infront if them using the medication in my pill dispenser which they didnt believe I used! Their answer " you need to see your doctor." My husband stopped me by grabbing my arms and they sent for security! The original assessor had blatantly put false answers to questions in the original assessment, and in the tribunal they were asking questions which were not even relevant eg. Quote "Keeping two cars must be expensive"!! My husband uses his for work. PIP is not based on your income! I had been down graded from full PIP including Mobility to the lower rates on both. I am still traumatised by it now and know 100% I have been cheated. It is the luck of the draw who your assessor is at the beginning.

How many people in that 100% record would have been in deep financial trouble and misery without your support, you are a heroine to so many people who have been helped and it's not an exaggerated claim to say probably saved some lives as the benefit system can drive people to suicide or mental breakdowns in extreme but not that uncommon cases. So many people get 0 points at first no matter how many they are awarded when guided through an assessment by someone like you who is aware of the system. Thank you

hi charlie. i am applying for pip for severe hearing loss. have anxiety and depression cause i cant hear and get frustrated when i have to ask ppl to repeat themselves… i used to pay my bllls but now my wife does that all cause i cant communicate properly over the fone. i take medication for virtago as well and attend thr audiologist and my ent consultant on a regular basis… and advice to put on my form.

All you can do is keep going, you help a lot of people, it sucks when you take a hit. DWP change the rules a lot and in itself it can put great stress on the people involved. I wished I would known about you when I did my review, I have PIP but the lower amounts, even though everyday for me is a lottery. As for ideas to help you, maybe a website with step by steps and sample answers for each stage of the form, maybe even with video snippets for different parts, I can help with websites.

I was physically sick for an hour after my tribunal. I am looking into reporting the judge it was that bad. I also had been given 0 points throughout, i also had 100% success rate until this week. They all back each others bad decisions, right through to upper tribubal

Charlie 💗 I’m so sorry I left our last conversation on one of your shorts without responding. Life got a bit manic, I finally managed after 2 & a bit years to get flooring installed in my bungalow (nearly £1,800 later..), & although I’d been staying here periodically, officially moved in mid December. I’ve been on my own, which means moving everything, & I’ve just been in one long perpetual flare up, & with that came a bout of very swollen feet & legs (still currently resembling the elephant man but on a positive note, all kidney & heart function tests came back clear, thank god, I don’t need anything else to add to my never ending medical list!), apparently my body has not adjusted to no longer having my father to tag team with me with cleaning / tidying, so my body just has to adjust! However, I have never forgotten your kindness, I even had a message half typed in my notepad section (forgetfulness & procrastination anyone..?) Firstly; please don’t feel so defeated. Do you know how difficult it is with the way DWP behave to have 100% success rate for 4 years?!? Charlie that’s absolutely brilliant. I know you wear your heart on your sleeve, & this was so much more to you than just another ‘notch on the belt’, I know you genuinely care for those you help & that’s what makes you so different to anyone else out there doing this. Remember you can only do so much, as can the clients. These forms & those that ‘assess’ (notice a certain word within a word….) are awful, they’re so humiliating & degrading. I’m part of a fibromyalgia & Ehlers danlos Facebook group, the amount of posts I see daily of people asking how ‘hard’ it is to claim pip is unreal, imagine being frightened of asking for help due to the bad reputation it carries before even reaching out. The advice I always, always give them, is go to citizens advice or to you & I give them your channel. I tell them do not take the question at face value! I think that’s a mistake so many make, & it’s a way of DWP ‘tripping us up’. If someone has never dealt with benefit forms before, they’ll fill them out as they’re asked, & won’t give a second thought to the ridiculous ‘hidden meanings’ behind them. Charlie, I know this is your bread and butter, but please make sure you’re looking after yourself too. Make sure you’re scheduling in rest times & time to yourself. Do not reach burn out. You will be of no help to anyone if you’re in pain and exhausted yourself, & I mean that with love. I’m sure you have lots of friends to talk to in time of need, I do not (loner, as always), it’s my mums birthday and 2 year anniversary of her passing tomorrow, so I’m feeling rather sorry for myself at the moment! However, I always have 2 broad shoulders if you ever want to offload or talk about anything. Look after yourself Charlie & A Happy New Year to you, your Mum & that beautiful furrbaby of yours 💗 Laura x

Theyve awarded me standard mobility and nothing for care. Its the care part i need. Im scared i will lose that it will pay so i can go see my adult disabled daughter. I gave her up so i could go back to work have a life after 20 years but my mental health has hit rock bottom. Its took me year to even put in for it.

Had an over the phone pip review for my son last Thursday. My son has autism, learning difficulties, APD , and mh issues. He was at special schools , certainly his high school pupils were academically working at level 2 or lower, my sons understanding is extremely low last time he was assessed by a SALT he was age equivalent of 5 years old. He’s almost 26 , but we’ve had a review every two years. Nothing has changed with him

My 11 year old daughter has a genetic condition, ataxic cerebral palsy and moderate learning difficulties . She can walk but needs a wheel chair for longer distances and needs help in and out of the car, she has has fine and gross motor difficulties, a constant tremor and weak left side. She cannot go out without supervision as she has the development of maybe a 4 year old at best and has an awkward gait that compromises her safety when walking. She gets high rate care but low rate mobility. She has a blue badge. Is it worth me reapplying to try for the high rate mobility?

It's difficult to win when everything is stacked against you. I was diagnosed with emphysema aged 26 later COPD was added I carried on working until the age of 55 when I had to be medically retired because of how severe my illness had become. I was awarded Contribution based ESA and a 2 year PIP award the PIPs was then reviewed after year 1 when I was then awarded Pips for 3 Years which was reviewed after year 2 during these years my health deteriorated further as my Illness is progressive lo and behold the so called nurse not only took over 4 hours to do my review she then proceeded to lie and my Daily living was taken from me and I was given the small mobility amount. I appealed but lost that as I live in Scotland my claim was dealt with in Belfast so without even a phone call or visit my appeal was denied by the shower in Belfast which is a disgrace. My life is now so miserable I wish I was dead.

I'm from Northern Ireland and the PIP system for me is based in NI. Im applying for the papers on Monday the 22nd of this month. Ive Crohns disease and psoriasis related arthritis. Ive managed since diagnosis for 9 years without PIP. However i find life difficult now and i need help of some sort. Ill keep you posted on my progress and how the system in NI works or doesnt.

Lovely idea about groups , maybe you could do the groups in a way where all participants that week are say suffering from auritus , following week MS, M.E, FIBRO, week after AUTISM, etc etc. That way the groups may also be able to lean on each other as well as they will be able to appreciate each others struggles and understand. Sorry if I’m not making much sense I’m currently loaded up on Tramadol due to my TN attacks this evening.

Thank you young lady. I've been dealing with a injury for my knee for twenty years . I've twelve children, and applied many times for help. I've been self employed. 56year old. I will try again as can't work, now. I still have five children at home. We live of tax credits working tax credit and child benefit. Dwp will putting me on universal credit soon. But have said to me you have to claim pip. With my injury a employer cannot insure a existing injury. Pip have said you don't qualify. 2024 is going to be he'll of a ride. Will try to jump through there hoops again. I pray for your situation. As God not for a easy life...but the strength to indure a shit one.

I just helped an old man apply for attendance allowance. If he had filled it in himself he would not have told them information that helped him win. When we started the form i Didn't tell him how long it would take to complete the form. When we were half way through he said if he knew how much work it would be he wouldn't have applied. Then i said we were nearly there so keep going he called me today to let me know he has been awarded. Just waiting on tribunal for a relative and we have an amazing legal representative from citizens advice

My illness have lived with have lived with a GP telling me that I can die any day.In 2010 I nearly died after a bladder procedure to be then fitted with a male catheter bag to then have to move into another property.I never claimed benefits for over 38 years and was always a worker .

I know people who get P.I.P. and not much wrong with them. It took me years to get pip until I could no longer work full time,and eventually, I saw a DWP doctor. This lady was a human being and looked and listened to me. She wrote her diagnosis,and when I read it, phoned Pip and asked them to read this letter from a qualified Doctor. Within a week, I got a phone call from pip saying I would receive Pip and back dated to my last claim. So don't give up and do take notice of this lady

I put in for a PIP claim after suffered an epileptic fit at work one Morning,I collapsed and smashed my head open,I suffered with Epilepsy before,Rare times,Only other health problem I got is a bad back after I damaged a few spine disc's,Still not been right ever since,I can't get PIP,So I don't understand why they giving out PIP to other working people,If other people can get PIP,sure their health problems all that wrong with them,Same to the old style Benefit,DLA,Never could claim that as well,Other people can claim it,The DWP is screwed up

It definitely is Dale. I've got my appeal tribunal hearing coming up. They basically dismissed everything I said to them.over the phone and I too have epilepsy, albeit controlled to a degree now. I have extremely.bad anxiety and Asperger's and they still refused to award me PIP. I thought if they were going to play hard then so am I. I'll continue to fight for what is mine. I'm.so sorry you too are effected by epilepsy and bad back (been there had that.) I also know people.who are claiming PIP for someone who shouldn't be receiving it but because the system is rigged to look good they give the money out.freely.if it makes them.look.good. it's a total flawed system. I would.say to you appeal again..keep going. Don't let the bast@rds win.

I agree, you have to fight for yourself! Don't worry about other people, focus on yourself. Go through the POINTS and score yourself, thats where it is key. For example, I can sit and type at a computer early in day but I am NOT safe with cooking due to the movement/pain etc. So, I was able to get PIP when I was working full time. It shouldn't be this way, but you have to stick to the points and communicate in a manner than PIP can then score your correctly. I really hope the guides help you communicate it so you can get the funding you deserve x

One thing about assessments you can't rely on the assessor to write everything correctly. Inaccuracies happen, either intentionally or by accident. You can however request a copy of the DWP / assessor's report to be posted to you. From this you can check to see if everything was recorded accurately and that no ambiguous language was used that could be used against you during the assessment. Ask the DWP for this paperwork even if you are awarded PIP. It provides you with insight into how the assessors record your responses and will help you with renewals every few years or the start for your tribunal.

Hi, I am currently awaiting a tribunal so any advice is very welcome. I am more annoyed and angry how all the reports are blatant lies, misquoted my words. At this point I don't think I have the nerve to go ahead with the tribunal. So any guidance will be invaluable thank you
