I'd genuinely like to support you on nebula, I used to do just that, but I can't because some white nebula creators have decided they're allowed to use anti-black slurs/racist memes against a black leftist for very politely disagreeing with what he considered a bad take. This is exactly the kind of person that ran Lindsay Ellis off of the platform to start with. I'm worried these people will get a cut of the profit from my subscription. If you can tell me why this concern is unfounded, I'll reverse the decision.

Honorable mentions to the 90s genie media, The Genie from Down Under, which is about a 13 year old snobby English girl, who comes across a pendent that contains a Australian Genie, Bruce, and his son, Baz. The intro song to that show has been stuck in my head for years.

Loved this video, even though I have 0 interest in Barbie. I love videos that go through and poke fun at obscure videogames, and that combined with your commentary (and Emily's!) is really entertaining. One highlight for me was showing clips from that film commercial earlier, and then using it for when "Scotty's luck was about to change". Great video!

God, I remember Polly Pocket was huge at the time too. I remember getting a Tickle Me Elmo the year it came out and my mom worked at a toy shop so she was able to get me one and she almost got jumped on the way to the car because they were so popular!

Genuinely loved this video, part let's play, part retrospective, part review. I would love to see you do more video game stuff, Especially, of course, Scooby Doo. I never had the GBA game, but I did have Scooby Doo: Night of 100 Frights for GameCube, and it was one of my favorite games growing up. It was the first game I ever finished on my own.

Dude, you forgot one of the biggest reasons for the trend: the I Dream of Jeannie reruns on Nickelodeon. There was a LOT of genie merchandise/toys too. I had the purple “Jeannie's Magical Locket” toy, and I think there was also a playset. It was basically a Polly Pocket type toy where the magic potion bottle was the doll’s house.
