It's about time that I put out my review for Zombies in Black Ops 4. I do not hate the game by any means (I'm a prestige master after all), but I definitely have a lot to say about it.
What was wrong with people using the same 4 perks anyway? There were plenty situations were you would rather choose a perk for another one. They could've just bumped the perk limit to five so that Juggernog would still be required to upgrade your health limit. Managed to grab a Thundergun and a Mark 2? No need for double tap. Running fast mags on your weapons? No need for speed cola unless you really want to reload at max speed (Which really isn't that necessary) Quick revive is not 100% needed in co-op
Man, I'm really enjoying binging all your videos about Zombies. Don't see many people discuss these games on a technical level, just on how they personally feel or how the consensus was.
Really great video. Never played BO4 so it's nice to see all the changes from old CODs. Hope you make a new video for CW zombies thoughts, specifically thoughts on Die Machine which feels very easy compared to old zombies but still very satisfying to play.
You did a good job of giving a fair review of everything. It was a nice video, but for me I think I’m a little different. I simply don’t like bo4 zombies because it just feels way too different. I think WAW might even be my favorite, just because of the simplicity. Zombies has changed so much. I miss being able to camp in nice spots. Now zombies is all about running all Over the place with a million things to do.
You can camp but you got to work to be able to just camp in a spot. Set up your class accordingly And get the weapons and buildables done, then you can camp effectively
Isn't dying during the boss fight like, to be expected. The quest arn't suppose to be easy and if they are easy like CW, they're pointless to do, the point of an quest is provide a difficult challenge and a form of accomplishment aswell as a way to show others that your skilled. Alpha Omega was too easy underminding those who complete it, beating Voyage feels amazing!
You’re right, quests shouldn’t be easy. I probably should have made it more clear in the video, but my biggest issue with the quests is how long they take. All the ones that I have completed took about 2 hours, and even the world record speedruns are usually about 40-45 minutes. Because of that I found it to be frustrating to lose at the very end of these quests and have the whole game go to waste, especially if you had good RNG in that run. I think it would have been better if they were about as long as the CW quests, but with the same level of difficulty. Or they could have had casual and hardcore versions of the quests on each map like in The Final Reich, that would have been perfect.
@@theGODZILLA150 Yea i understand that but I personally never found an issue with how long it takes, cause I enjoyed every moment of it as it all was enjoyable to me, and dying in the boss after 2 hours was a way to punish us for underestimating the boss of being unprepared.
I like bo4 zombies more than bo3. I’m prestige 8 but I didn’t play at the start when it was announced. Like I only started playing bo4 at the end of 2019 so I didn’t know much but I enjoy it
I certainly think that BO4 can be enjoyable, but I also feel like it didn't quite reach its full potential. For the most part it was a lot of little things that held the game back for me, and honestly I feel like it would only take a small update to make the game significantly better than it already is.
theGODZILLA150 yeah sure I mean with what I've got I haven't like got any DLC or anything and I'm prestige master in zombies like 206 rn so yeah but updates should be made I agree
