In the episode "Lucy Learns To Drive", Lucy goes into a freeze. While she is in that freeze, you see something land on the top of her hair. The problem is I don't know what it is. Maybe you can show it to the fans... including me?

Nick, thanks a million for these vignettes. Born in England, we immigrated to Hartford, CT. in 1960. We watched I Love Lucy at a neighbor's house until we got a black white TV in 1963. Thanks for the memories.

I never caught that little blooper where in one episode Ricky knows how to make chicken 🐔 and rice 🍚. Then in the other he doesn't.

As a I Love Lucy buff, you always amaze me at the trivia I never knew. On this video, I really loved the questioning of Ricky not knowing how to make aroz con pollo (much less know his way around a kitchen) in Job Switching and Lucy and Ethel commenting on him making aroz con pollo while looking at the fan magazine. But I could not, to save my life, see the ball bounce back up (and I even looked at it a few times and you also drew a circle) from Vacation from Marriage. Perhaps my eyes in my old age, lol. As always Rick, excellent stuff! Thanks!

AHHH, THE FLOATING FEATHER (in the Ricardo's Apartment)!!! YES!! I actually did see that blooper, myself, a few years ago! I loved that!! And I, like you, absolutely LOVE finding & seeing these little bloopers here & there. They truly are gems! when I was little I love lucy was on 3 times a day this is In the nyc area. I watched each and every episond and can tell u with in 10 sec which one it is. I just recienctly watch a Christmas episode that was in color. I was amazed. I was born in 1959 so I still watch I love luch when it comes lol

They probably had feathers showing up for a while in one place or another there were thousands of them! So funny 🤣. The Golf Game ( which was one of my mom’s favorites) either Lucy changed the position because there was one less player or she was kind of showing off. Jimmy Demeret was very much a gentleman. Seemed very nice. I don’t know much about him but he was on Lucy so he I knew him because of that.

Hey! Just subscribed! Found you by chance in my You Tube feed recommendations. So happy I did. Love to find a Lucy lover! I thought I knew all the bloopers but there were a few here I didn't notice!One of my favorite inconsistencies on the show is Ethel's middle name. Lucy refers to her in the salad dressing episode as Ethel Roberta, then Fred calls her Ethel Louise in the same dress episode and then Ethel Mae in a few other episodes most notably Ethel's Home Town. The only reason I can think of that Lucy gets the who goes first number wrong in the golf episode is just that the rules the boys made up are so confusing, you just can't remember them! Thx again for putting these videos together. I know they are hard work. I have a friend who puts together various videos for YT and they take hours.Just one other thing, and I know this is tacky but, you're very cute!

It's fun to watch the bloopers you forgot the one scene when they were in the cabin and the train went by and the bed was moving you can see the rope pulling the bed. And in Hollywood Lucy was telling Ricky about dancing with can Johnson she flubbed her line and you can see her snickering.. there are lots of them. Thank you for your videos. Always a joy to see them.

These types of mistakes are mostly due to no one watching out for continuity and that they never imagined that in the future people would be able to see the episodes over and over and be able to scrutinized them so well. Nice video.

Thanks for all ur work to keep this legend alive! I noticed at the end of the episode where Lucy and Ethel both run for President of the League, Fred and Mrs Knickerboker are sitting stage left to hear Ricky's song, yet, when Lucy and Ethel come into the club, the seating is now stage right.

Thanks!! Rick !!/:) I love to watch your I Love Lucy schhtuff ! The thing that I was thinking about (and maybe you have already done a vid on it) was when they reuse the same actors for more than one part. It seems they use Barbara Pepper as filler or background guest, she was actually a friend of Lucy's and Lucy wanted Barbara to play Ethel. And Charles Lane is used as Mr. Hickox as the business manager, but he is also used as a disgruntled clerk in The Passport episode. And they use Vivian Vance's real husband, Phillip Ober in the episode where Lucy goes on a game show and she has to pretend to have a first husband, And he plays Dory Sherry in one of the Hollywood episodes. Or Fred Clark seemed to be on as a grumpy old man. Vitto Scotti I'm sure they used more than once. Frank Nelson was used more than once as Freddie Fillmore and as a waiter when Lucy can't make up her mind. And The lady that was in the background a lot, she never got any lines, but I had read that she was Lucy's stand in....I can't find her name. Anyway , ThanKS !!! For the Vids !

In blooper #2 I don't see the rock bouncing or hitting any part of the set. I see it just going down in the direction Lucy throws it, What am I missing? I think the biggest question to ask, is why was there a rock on the roof? #3 Some apartments would allow cats, but no dogs, because of barking, and going in and out of the building at all hours. Also, Mrs. Trumbo may have been in the building before the Mertz's owned the building. So it is possible that she could had been grandfathered in, with the rule later put into place. Maybe I'm over thinking it! LOL I enjoy your clips Rick. Keep up the good work!

Every set seen on 'I Love Lucy' were in front of the audience. Today most sets you see on sitcoms are off to the side - outside of the view of the audience, so the audience is having to look up at the monitors. 'I Love Lucy' would even set up sets in front of the main sets so the audiences could see what was going on. The only permanent set was the living room. The kitchen, bedroom, and nightclub sets were all easily removable so extra sets could be built in their place.

in the last clip lucy asks Ethel if she knows sweet sue? Ethel says no. but they were all singing it in the episode breaking the lease. ricky and Ethel were both playing it on the piano. i think Ethel played it 1st, left her ring there, after her and Fred went (down stairs) ricky played it.

I am both amazed and puzzled that someone as young as you knows so much about Lucy and would be interested how anyone from your generation even came across the show. By the way I don't mean to be ageist, I say this with admiration as someone who is nearly as old as the Lucy show and who remembers seeing the original broadcasts of the later seasons.

One of my fav. bloopers is, First Stop. Ricky drives straight from NY to Ohio, Lucy refers to him as Mr. Milage. Lucy leaves NY in a tweed suit, when they stop in Ohio, she is wearing a top and slacks, when did she change?

In other words, each show is its own situation and to enjoy the show it is not necessary to watch the episodes in order. So, knowing or not knowing how to drive is "driven" by the need of each particular show. Same with arroz con pollo. After all, if Ricky knew how to cook, you'd have no Job Switching show. Remember too, ILL invented the rerun- it is likely no one thought about continuity as having a Rick Nineg doing his homework years later was not even a consideration. The tow cable used on the cars is very interesting. If Desi had not insisted on film, instead of the commonly used kinescopes, you would have never seen the cables. Note the cars have no windshield, side glass or rearview mirror, the headlights are painted white, the side view mirror is angled down and it appears the chrome has been dulled, (front bumper). I'm guessing this had to do with reflecting the studio lights. Bloopers? That floating feather was a definite blooper. I'm going to check Rick's other videos, ILL was such a well rehearsed show it will be interesting to see more.

I have a blooper. In “Lucy Wants To Move To The Country”, Lucy says the skyscrapers have more color than she has. In “Lucy’s Night In Town”, Ricky says that New York now has skyscrapers.
