When I would look for love in a true love romance, I found myself suicidal when he left. Never again will I give my heart in that way. Ashera speaks well, this is a very important topic. Women are too obsessed with love from a man. Which is not life sustaining, nor can it replace or fill our inner void. But our society is so harsh on women who love themselves, it’s sick how our society will target women like ashera as a narcissist for jus being confident and self loving and strong in her own self without the need for validation, better to be like her, and self assured than needy. I find when I’m needy, I get hurt and waste energy.

I have noticed that men do not have a problem finding me time. They will disappear for hours into the garage to work on a project. They will spend hours on the computer to research their latest interest. They will spend hours in the recreation room learning to play the guitar or playing their favorite video game. We as women need to learn to do this too. Now when I feel my man is busy with his interest I'm relieved because it frees me up to do what I want. Don't be sad if you feel like he's not paying attention to you, that's more time for you. And if at times you also feel the need to ignore him in order to take care of your own needs, that's fine too. That's exactly what men do. I've had three long-term relationship and with man it's always the same.

Words of Wisdom💕.One of my favorite parts you mentioned was acceptance. People have yet to realize that you don’t have to accept any reality other than your own. I told my husband that I don’t need friends because people get mad if you don’t accept, believe, or respond to situations how they would. They want to change you. I no longer think the same about a myriad of things and find myself withdrawing from others because of what I now know I would be doing a disservice to myself to entertain useless relationships. They hate themselves and their own thoughts, so their friends serve as distractions, unknowingly. They would go crazy and find themselves craving attention from anyone who gives them any. People throw the word friend around so loosely, but that person wouldn’t even give them a kidney, or take a bullet for them without a second thought. You’ll never be lonely or sad being your own best friend. Loneliness, sadness, Those are all state of mind and ultimately a choice. Some people with the largest amount of friends are the most depressed. All is mental💕

People think i‘m self centred because i dont have kids. Real deal is i cant have kids with my partner and it took alot of strength out of me to get over it. I finally learned to enjoy my life without kids and invest in myself alot- i only make money for myself to spend it on treatments, make up, clothes, bags, perfume and vacations. Because i‘m worth it after being through so much- i love my life and myself and i dont care if other jealous, stressed out bitches with 3 kids are hating on me. They never went through my phase and gladly i‘m not frustrated like them. I grew alot and i‘m proud of myself today.

Because of your knowledge, my self-esteem and self-worth has increased. I finally broke loose from a toxic relationship that lasted 7 years, on again and off again. I would set a boundary and he would become upset and break up with me. Then eventually I would feel lonely and call him, but not this time. I joined an online Support Group and started working on myself. Thanks for all your knowledge!!!

Preach! Your videos just get better and better-and a lot of times, even family and friends DO NOT always want you to do better than them. And you are so right, no love can ever match the love we have for ourselves. The unfortunate thing is that we first learn to love ourselves(or not) from our primary caregivers-and when we don’t get it in the beginning, it’s very hard to train yourself to love you if you’re never had good examples to model yourself on. Childhood habits are hard to break, because that is a survival instinct. The irony is that to truly love yourself, you basically need to unlearn all the old survival habits.

Thank you for this video! Prior to discontinuing the unison, I told a woman that I didn't care if my parents loved me, the only love I needed was from myself. She got really defensive and starting internalizing what I said, "Oh...I wouldn't want to hear my kids say that about me". I rolled my eyes as I concluded that she didn't love herself and wasn't interested in knowing how *hence why I had to walk away*. LOL I said to my friend the other day, that love has no social market value - so expecting people to love you is a loss cause...love yourself.

I don't see the point of a relationship then. If you get everything you want from yourself, why bother? just love yourself, and spend time with family/friends for company. sex, family, kids, etc. has social market value but I don't value those things. so should I force myself to value those things because society benefits from it? people keep harping on this idea that kids are the solution, save your love for them instead, but kids past the age of 5 don't love you back the same either. They are human too, and don't owe you anything, so that's another heartbreak waiting to happen.
