Some people get such good luck and waste it. She should have spent that money on a counselor, life coach, etiquette coach, an image consultant, and a hair stylists and leveled herself up into high society to secure a better man and stability for her kids.
Some women like being miserable because it gets them the attention they want without them having to put in the work that is required to actually do better. I just stopped being friends with someone like this. She won’t lose weight and doesn’t take care of her skin. She repeatedly involves herself with men that do nothing for her and they always already have a gf. One man, in particular, had a baby momma who flattened her tires 3 times and showed up to her house to fight her. She was mad at me because I wouldn’t fight the girl with her. Oh no sweetie! I’m too cute for that. 💅🏽
My mom used to drag us in her mess with my dad it was soo horrible growing up and hearing her complain and make herself a victim. I was soo over it I asked her to leave she did not. I asked her to never complain to me again because she chose to stay. What I realised is she enjoyed complaining more she enjoyed the sympathy more than freedom from abuse
Who came up with this struggle love BS in the first place?? Love is not supposed to be hard or painful or a struggle - if it was, why would anyone want it??? Isn't life hard enough ? Relationships should make us happier and our lives better.

It’s like they like being the victim and when they have the option to either level up or deal with dusty, they just keep playing the victim. All the energy they spent playing the victim, they could have leveled up.
She’s not lying about looking your best no matter what. This is in response to the person in a wheel chair. Not comparing just trying to help. But I’ve had to be in crutches and a wheel chair a few times because of ankle injuries. That did not stop my dating life. In fact a healthy man loves a beautiful woman who needs him. I was carried into cars on dates, I was treated like a delicate rose. Tbh better than I’ve ever been treated. But I also looked my very best. Same goes for right now as I recover from a rare syndrome of CHS. I looked my best and had a complete stranger changing my vomit buckets and even once I stopped and he massaged my pain away, he tried to kiss me. You’d think he’d be grossed out. But I’m very attractive and never stopped looking my best. Only a few days ago I was collapsing in street and I didn’t get help right away, it was demoralizing. But the second block I had 3 guys want to help me and walk me home, then another two guys saw and wanted or make sure I was safe. So I had 5 strange gentleman carry my things and myself all the way home. Don’t ever think looking your best doesn’t matter. I’m naturally pretty but with makeup and right attire I’m gorgeous. Men love gorgeous women. No matter our setbacks. That actually adds to our damsel in distress and men loving feeling strong and needed. Never think you can’t get the life you want and deserve. I’m not using this to my advantage. I’m in recovery but also not going to play victim. A man doesn’t always get the chance to prove himself to strong women. Don’t be afraid to be the delicate rose that you are. I hope this helped for whomever needed it.
This is encouraging as I’m about to have surgeries on my legs and spend 6 weeks in a wheelchair and then probably crutches time too…. I’ve bought a lot of new cute dresses and makeup 😆 preparation lol

At times the mental trauma alone distorts you perception of reality and it’s up to you to pull your self out bc after awhile you know what’s right and what’s wrong

That's all me. I've been choosing to suffer and it is pathetic. But I don't know how to change it, and I've ruined so much at this point. Heck I don't think I can bounce back.
What helped me was reading books. I felt like I knew what I was doing was wrong but I had such a strong impulse to do it that I would just do it anyway due to neediness and non existing boundaries.
