I have never played Texas hold'em before in my life, but after watching countless hold'em videos, it has me wanting to give it a shot. The only reason why I haven't tried playing this game before, was mainly due to having to having to learn that entire 'up swing' graph. Now after watching this video alone and Brad unknowing giving away his secrets, now I can easily memorize Brad's entire 'revenge' graph and start cleaning up. Nobody will ever see it coming! Thanks, Brad!

Brad is playing high stakes poker where being super aggressive and bluffing is common. You will probably start at 1-2 no limit. Just play basic ABC poker and you will eventually be a winner. Fancy play syndrome at this limit will make you a long term loser.

Playing anything less than a pair has been catastrophic for me. To many times have I gotten myself in trouble with suited connectors, and more so with higher ones like AK, KQ. Just running bad I guess. Hope to improve soon.😊
@andreyvstaroselskiy
@andreyvstaroselskiy Год назад
Playing KQ can vary depending on the table, but assuming you're playing low stakes, just raise preflop, call reasonable (3-4x) re-raises, and fold anything above that, including 4-bets. AK is a default raise out of any position, and 4-bet if you get raised yourself. At low stakes making a 4-bet usually puts you all-in, and if you get coolered, that is unfortunate, but you will be winning in the long run due to fold equity (otherwise it'd generally be a 50-50 flip, such as against JJ, QQ, or worse at loose tables, unless they have KK or AA, which is rare and you have blockers to). If you yourself get 4-bet jammed on when you have AK, consider folding, because usually you're either flipping or behind. But that depends on table dynamics, the position of the aggressor, and the amount of money you already have invested in the pot. With suited connectors, I would recommend seeing a flop for a cheap price if you're out of position, and raise if you're in position. Call reasonable 3-bets and fold anything more. Post-flop gets a little tricky with these depending on the situation, so do look at some in-depth tutorials on how to play suited connectors. This advice is obviously a general guideline, and you should always mix up your gameplay so your opponents can't read you like a book. Happy pokerin'!
@donaldshotts4429
@donaldshotts4429 11 месяцев назад
Watch your opponents. Your hand ranges should increase as your correct reads on your opponents increase. Try to play good hands and value position and you'll get better. Always look for value. For example:. Say you call raise with JT hearts and flop is 2h3hKd. Raiser bets $50 into $60 pot and everyone else folds. I'd fold. Say I'm holding 56 hearts same flop and raiser bets $30 with 1 caller. Now you have more outs w the straight and more value with cheaper draw and bigger pot
@masktuxedo77
@masktuxedo77 11 месяцев назад
@@andreyvstaroselskiysome suited connector like 10 9 or jack ten should be in the three bet range out of position IMO. You want to be aggressive and take it down either pre flop or on the flop. Also you balance out all of your QQ+ three bets.

2-3s isn''t connected. It's a 2 gapper. It has the same straight probability as 2-5s. And less probability than 6-9s for example, because you can't make a straight with just the 2 with the 2 being one of the 3 highest cards.

@bradowenclips6089 Год назад
This kind of comment pisses me off. I’ve been doing this for almost 7 years and have shown the good and bad sides of poker in the most honest way I can. The idea of faking anything is stupid, and it would be incredibly tough in a casino setting to fake things anyway. You’d have to get so many people involved that any gain would not only be completely offset from all the effort and also financially, it would be extremely detrimental and ruin your reputation if you got caught.
@ryburks2758

I have literally been a follower since the beginning. I watch your videos every week. I didn't mean any disrespect. I know you put your heart and soul into this. It just seemed off to me that you got 5 suited connectors in a row and flopped a solid piece on every single one of them. I understand this was filmed over a multiple hour session. I wasn't trying to call you out, it just seemed like a low probability for the run outs on those hands. It seemed too good to be true. You're a G though Brad. Hope I can make it to a meet up game one day. Keep up the good work. I'll be watching!
