From seeing the title photo I actually thought you were about to show reverse macro 😊 that is actually fun with a Tele lens 😳

Great video with the use of a prism for macro photography. One thing though, I've always been told to shut off my camera before removing my lens. Can't wait for the next one.

Great video and lovely results. Thanks for not covering the 'reverse lens' method! Every second reel on social media seems to highlight this and it's nice to see something different

HI can I please ask for help.? I am a total beginner in Photography I have been reading up on photography for year's always admiring the work of photographers in National Geographic. I have always loved B&W photography and the natural world I even thought I would like to go down the road of being very minimalist, not post-editing as much as possible to believe I would like to shoot landscape and I do love landscape but while I have been trying to find a direction and looking over everything I have come to realise what I love most is Macro or super Marco Photography. I think I always thought of Marco's photography as a laboratory-like set-up and ⁵ too. Anyway, I have also always been a fan of Nikon and while reading up I was advised to spend the largest part of my budget on glass. So I bought a Nikon d7100 second hand it had a really low shutter count . I set about buying glass I started with 35mm,f/1.8 18-55mm AF-P VR, AF-S Nikkor 18-300mm 1:3 5-6 3G ED VR. I then got 3 batteries, a battery grip a Tamrac Expedition camera bag a,decent tripod, an external flash and a flash reflector, a remote for flash. 2 memory cards and a 1 TB external memory bank. Sorry, this turned out so long. So here is my Question Can I shoot Macro photography with what I have? Is there equipment I need? And where do I start? Thank you in advance, F.D

Interesting how you took your lens off the camera. With the exception of possibly getting dirt in the camera and the price, it is about the same as when I use my bellows unit.
