Thank you for the great (and excited!) demonstration of the Techo nib! That was so interesting and informative. I’m excited to see how you like the Journaler and the comparison of the two. Congrats on a great new pen! I used your code for my own Benu Gold Coast this week! Double yay!!
I have a similar nib from the nibmeister I use. It’s so much fun, I should get it inked up again. I’m also very intrigued by the Pen Realm Speerpoint. It seems really handy to have the smaller nib on the forward and the broad on the reverse.
Ha ha! As you know, I also got an Estie in a non-favorite material (in my case, Botanical Gardens) in order to get a Techo nib. So I laughed out loud at the very end of your video. I do care a lot about color and materials so I may have to move my Techo nib to another Estie (to keep the branding match) at some point. There's probably no way I can do that without spending at least a bit more money, so I'm trying not to be wasteful and just accept the Botanical Gardens pen as is. I think the Techo nib is fantastic!
For my Rainforest, I was able to remove my gold nib by pulling straight out and it came out very easily. I did not have to twist. Don't know if this would be the same for the Techo.
Does your Atlas discount code work for Esties? I’ve been eyeing the Journaler nib, but now I’m intrigued by the Techo nib after watching this. Can’t wait to see your review of the Journaler nib, before I make my final decision.
Do you think this techo nib is equivalent to the Sailor zoom nib? It seems to write nicely but I'm afraid the colorway is a deal breaker for me personally.
