I saw it with my girlfriend last year on the 14th. It was our first date, and our one year anniversary is actually coming up. I know it wasn't very critically acclaimed, but we loved it. I had my first kiss after that post credits scene and it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. That movie holds a special place in my heart. I fucking love Venom.

Bro, your Venom 2 is what I call film-making. The level of deeper meaning and actual engagement in the plot that you have here is amazing. For example, the instance of paralleling the relationship with Venom and Carnage with Eddie and Cassidy is such a good concept. More things like Life Foundation ending and "Death" apartment ending. These are all such good concepts. So many movies these days are just that average flick with nothing to really think about and get excited/inspired about. Seriously, man some people's thoughts are underrated.

I also concede both movies had some big objective issues, like his dad smashing the spiders makes no sense, or how convoluted him finding the clues to his dads research was, and TASM 2 was, well it was TASM 2 lol, but I think there are alot of good in 1 in particular that people over look, and ill take it over iron-boy.

Exactly, don't open up a movie series with the two most interesting characters, save some for later. People will go to see venom 1 for venom, venom 2 for carnage, and venom 3 because its the conclusion and at that point they're invested enough to see it.

I want spiderman far from home to end like the first one. And then Peter decides to order some pizza along with Ned and Michelle. The delivery guy comes in and it's Maguire with his "stupid" bike and helmet. Both Maguire and Holland have an awkward stare. And Tobey says "Pizza Time". That'd be a great easter egg for spiderverse.

The other reason they didn't use Carnage is because they didn't wanna "spoil the fans" by bringing Carnage into the first movie they really wanted it to be about Eddie and Venom. That actually makes a lot of sense now.

While Riot sucked as a villain I believe they made the right decision of choosing him over Carnage so many comicbook movies these days do this stupid where they waste the protagonist's most popular villain in the first film a really good example would be Wonder Woman Edit: wow I think this might be my most liked comment. Because why make a good movie, right? They can make a trilogy with carnage in all 3 movies. 1. Venom vs Carnage, venom gets barely saved 2. Introduce other symbiotes, some on venom side, some on carnages 3. Venom vs carnage, final. But they wanted to make 20 movies. That not how you do it. I just want them to sell sm to marvel

I’d love to see Garfield return. He never got a fair shot at Spider-Man, not to mention the TASM Spider-Man would fit better in this universe than Holland’s. I’d love to see to see Garfield’s Spider-Man and Hardy’s Venom fight, but then team up to take on a bigger threat. It’d be like the final act of the Spider-Man 1 PS1 game.

Your sequal idea has holes, Eddie knows Venom had another host, that was (I think her name was) Mary, Eddie's homeless friend. It's impossible for Spider-Man to have bonded with Venom in this universe, because Venom was stuck in the Life Foundation until he attached to Brock

Garfield was a good spiderman, but a bad Peter Parker (he's too hispter). But a confident Peter Parker would be believable now as he grew older. Anyway, Peter as the first host wouldn't work because Venom didnt copy his symbol. Still cool for Garfield to atleast have a cameo if the story ever goes to New York.

Your version was kinda close, altho with different motives and how things played out. They were sick of eachother, they did split up, brock did use his journalism skills(a tiny bit). I would have definitely liked aspects of yours thrown in there but i did enjoy it regardless.

It was better as a character driven movie, because the dynamic between the symbiote and eddie are great. But it's a plot driven movie, with a hashed on villain who is literally given his powers in the last 30 minutes haha.
