I can’t help hating myself for it. I really wanted to resent him for treating me so unfairly. I wanted to hate him for misunderstanding me so much. I wanted to be angry at him for being so wrong. For being tactless, and unsupportive. And I did. Part of me upheld those feelings of disgust, but really, my self-hatred trampled over those feelings. My pain of having hurt him, my guilt, redirected all the animosity I felt towards only myself. I was drowning, drowning in rancour and agony. But now.. now only the latter is left. It hurts.

I'm that way myself. I can't love myself, but I love her. And everyday, I'm waiting for the time when she'll stop being there for me. I warned her many times but she wouldn't leave. I'm not halfway into falling in love with myself, but I know that I'm going to get there soon.
