Today me and ‪@kayyywild‬ decided to get a dose of adrenaline at Star City here in Metro Manila!
I absolutely love theme parks so I was so excited to try all of the amazing rides but unfortunately the weather had other plans.. not to mention that the three best rides were closed for maintenance.. Either way we still tried to make the most of it and as usual the friendly locals helped keep up the mood. I will definitely have to go back and experience this place properly though!

try Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna... and the soon to open the largest theme park in the Philippines(Pradera Island Theme Park... Since you are in Manila, i suggest try to visit the Manila Zoo, and the National Museum of Fine Arts, Anthropology and Natural History.. all Museums are located in Luneta Park.

Best theme park ENCHANTED KINGDOM its a must try. It is in Santa Rosa Laguna.

Enchanted Kingdom should be your go to for outdoor theme park here in the Philippines. If you go south, go to Cebu for the canyoneering, and whalsesharks/turtles diving. Bohol for the tarsiers and the Chocolate Hills. Palawan El Nido/ Corona for the beaches. And of course Boracay for an island night life. Further south in Siargao Islands for surfing and leisurely life (Bali style) If you wanna go north of Manila, go to Baguio City or even Sagada for the mountain views and cold weather

Next is Enchanted Kingdom (EK) in Santa Rosa, Laguna, 45 mins- 1 hr drive south of Manila. Bus terminal is located in Buendia LRT Taft in Pasay. To make it easy for you, book online. They offer EKspress shuttle...

If you're going to Cebu, you must try the Kawasan Falls, there's a activity called canyoneering and is a must!

Definitely go back for part 2 Josh! The last time I've been to Star City was years ago, and my fave ride was the coaster outside.... Connor's facial expression while riding on the roller coaster was priceless 🤣. Nice video as always, thanks! 😊👍

Normally we Filipinos do not use MABUHAY to greet people. Mabuhay means "long live" by the way.. We greet by just saying "Hi" "Hello" or "kumusta?".. kumusta means "how are you?..

I hope you guys get to try Enchanted Kingdom too. The Anchors Away (pirate ship) is bigger. There's also a horror attraction there. And if you like horror, try Asylum Manila (Nightmares Manila), a horror attraction. You can also go to the Ocean Park in Manila, see and feed penguins. There's a "snow" area as well :D

@@TheJourneyofJosh The Nightmares Manila attraction has special prices for vloggers, I believe. I've peeked at a RU-vid video of it. :) It is huge though and if you're going, you should have those portable battery-operated fans. I heard it's really hot inside. I saw the youtubers sweating lol. Planning to go next year. :D It'd be interesting if you guys do decide to go haha

Hello Josh, more amazing vids to come. Love the way how you interact to filipinos on your travels. Also for your intro kindly use "Kayo" if you want to address everyone instead of "Ka". The word "kayo" is used to address everyone, and the word "ka" is used to address a single person. Hoping to see more vids from you bro, also visit different places like provinces and beaches. Try going to "ENCHANTED KINGDOM" in Laguna or "SKY RANCH" in Tagaytay, both are outdoor theme park just an hour or two drive outside of Manila. Both place have better weather, especially the Tagaytay one. 🤙🏼

Hello, Josh. Thank you for highlighting my country on your vlogs. Just one word of advice: We don’t use “Mabuhay” as a greeting. When we say “mabuhay”, it’s like the Brits saying “long live the queen”. It’s a statement of pride but not used to greet. Imagine going to the UK and saying “long live the queen” everytime you see someone. Lol. Just FYI.

guyabano = soursop. it's an awesome fruit for drinks. unfortunately it's basically impossible to find where i live in the USA. you should definitely try it

i was told "kumusta ka", is singular use for 1 person only while "Kumusta kayo" is used for singular and plural for 1 or more person. so its safe to use "kumusta kayo" or just say "kumusta or musta?" they will get it...

Thunderstorms in December is definitely Climate Change in action. 30 years ago Star City was an Open Air temporary fairground and we never got rained on during the holidays. All the rides were these dodgy contraptions which were exhilarating and terrifying at the same time. Oh the footage we could have got if GoPros were already invented!

Nice vid joshh!!! "Kumusta ka?" is used when you're talking to one person only.. "Kumusta kayo?" Is used when talking to two or more people Lol I was shivering inside snow world when I went there with my friends before and you're just wearing t-shirt .... 😂😂😂😂😂

It's More Fun in the Philippines, although the rain can really put a damper on the better rides. But try the rides at the "Enchanted Kingdom."

Josh if you want to go to a milder climate. Head north to Baguio. If you wanna see Manila historically before it was destroyed in WW2 spend a couple of days to “Casa de Azucar”. Not too far from MNL

I'm not usually scared of these rides,but for that caterpillar ride the tracks looked very flimsy to me lol Ill be scared for my safety lol. I've been to starcity few times when I was younger it's fun and very accessible. The best amusement park in the Philippines is south of manila, called enchanted kingdom. Probably around 50usd for entrance

haha. not sure if safe or not lol. they have few accidents in the past. but not involving that catrepillar ride. you will still live even if you fell on that caterpillar ride except for few broken bones lol.

I think it's dangerous in my country Philippines because I always see notification in the news in RU-vid are crimes that happens in some places in the Philippines. And a 14 years old Filipino killed a 7 years of age he said a pastor commanded him to do that and I watched it over in the RU-vid so let's take care I guess in my country I'm afraid to this news that being televised in filipenz
