Brake calipers are normally pretty easy to rebuild, just replace the piston and seals and you're good to go.

I put an sr in a kouki Silvia lately and had the exact same problem as you with the alternator, the problem with me was I didn't have the alternator wire hooked up to the battery, it has an eye on the end and looks like a ground so I grounded it 😫, it's a thicc wire with a red stripe on it on the starter loom, I know Jimmy checked over it but you might have missed it
