I LOVE Libby! It's saved me a lot of money...especially for books that I know that I'm only going to read once. There is a wait BUT it does go by pretty quickly so definitely add what you would like to your reading list and you'll have it soon. If you receive notice that your book is ready but you're already reading one, you can postpone it. Having 14 days to read is also motivation to get it done! You can return it early as well if you finish earlier. Hope you enjoy 🌿
Dear, Bron first of all Congratulations on your fantastic news of being a Cast Member!! Planning a wedding is not easy, but I agree with you on keeping the details private. You are simply the best and I can't wait to watch your next video!!
I’m over 50 and ran the dopey. After the 5k, 10k, 1/2 marathon … don’t do anything after the races but hydrate and rest / elevate your legs every night. You’re going to do great!
Your princess run videos is how i found this channel years ago. And I am finally doing my first Disney half in February. So excited to see your Dopey journey!
I'm so happy for you!!! Also, that Kindle cover is amazing. If you have Prime, you have access to First Reads every month which is a free book that hasn't been released yet. You get a choice of one from five or so titles. Congrats again on the job!
There’s a whole side of RU-vid (booktube) for book recs that I’d definitely recommend! 99% of the books I read come from their recommendations. ☺️ If you like romance, Delilah Green Doesn’t Care is my recommendation for you!
Hi! I am doing the DCP in 2023! My big goal is to be in the social media team so I’m so so glad to have stumbled across this video! I’m hoping to learn a lot more on my program!
soo excited for your new position!!! cant wait to see all of your ideas and projects come to life. life may be busy right now but you are doing great 🤍
You can try to look into other Library districts in your area to get cards from them too. It may not work in your area, but where I am, you can get cards. I think I have five cards from different districts. It definitely helps with getting the waiting list books
I so miss my time as a cast member. It was 25 years ago, and was a Tomorrowland attractions host at DLR. Despite the wage and commute, it was BY FAR my favorite job ever. Congrats on getting back into the Mouse House!!! 😃😃😃
Love that you’ve jumped on the kindle train too! I too have always been a physical book lover and never thought I could enjoy reading a book on a kindle, but I’m loving how convenient it is to carry around so many books at once. Love the Libby app! I also use it for audiobooks for my drive to work
I am the opposite with reading, I have to really push myself to read a book. Usually the only time I do is when I am flying otherwise I prefer to read a screen or listen to an audiobook
Hi Bron good morning happy Monday morning and I hope you having amazing weekend and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
I use Libby a bunch for audio books! Love it❤. Have you read A Crash of Fate? It's a Star Wars book set in Batuu with a little romance story. The audiobook is so good with the music and sound affects but I'd rec the digital version as well!!!
Legend series (the first 3 books) by Marie Lu is HANDS DOWN the greatest book series (n i have 300+ listened to in audible). Ima big YAF fan. Also, imo, you should vlog the whole wedding process just for your close friends and fam. If you're even slightly sentimental, you're gonna wanna relive those times.
Thanks for the updates! One of my favorite books is House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. It’s a found family, queer, easy fantasy read that stuck with me for a long time. Super cute and is one of my comfort reads!
Thanks for the update and ready to see where you take your shop/the channel. I am a huge Goodreads fan so great way to also keep track of what you read
a big congratulations to you on becoming a cast member again! I’m a og subscriber and it makes me so happy to here you are back being a cast member again😊💕
Book Recommendations: Such A Fun Age by Kiley Reid (a story about racism) Midnight Libary by Matt Haig (what if you can live all the lives you could have lived? The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (just vibes, mystical magic) Loveless by Alice Oseman (coming of age story about asexuality) Recommend to read each blurb and see what you think of them
yes it’s a lot of money but from one frozen girly to another i would totally do it, you don’t know the next time you’d have the chance to get an anna/elsa medal!!!
I use Libby also!! I'm in Tampa so we also have a Hillsborough County app (Hoopla), maybe other counties have their own also. I'm more of an audiobook person though, especially while I'm cleaning! If I tried to sit and read I'd fall asleep pretty quickly 😂unfortunately I won't be any help for recommendations though because I pretty much stick to thriller/mystery/true crime stuff lol
Ever since that layoff I was hoping you would end up back with Disney in some capacity. I hated the way it had to end for you, so hearing you ended up in your dream role is the best news. 💙
Bronwyn, how do you make time for your multiple jobs, training for half and full marathons, and wedding planning on top of it! This comes from someone who feels like she doesn't have the time for much outside of her full-time job.
Thats so exciting!!! Im so happy for you!!!! I love coming along on your journey, and good luck with the wedding!! 💕 As for some book recommendations, I love reading so i have some for you! - Renegades by Marissa Meyers: a world with heros and villains and an enemies to lovers arc with a villain named Nova and a Hero named Adrian as Nova tries to infiltrate the heros headquarters. It's really really good! - The Inheritance Games: a mystery, but not a scary one, about a girl who is left the entire inheritance of a man she never met - Caraval by Stephanie Garber: a whimsical carnival that only appears once in a couple years and is full of magic. Two sisters venture into it and discover the secrets behind Caraval - The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyers: scifi fairytale retellings (very soft sci fi and good for beginners) - We were Liars by E. Lockhart
I am so lucky that I got the opportunity to go to Tokyo Disney when I was around 8/9, because we lived in Indonesia at the time. It was an AMAZING experience!!!!
Went to Disneyland Paris last year. Make sure you bank LOTS of time for travel to and from the parks. We didn’t have enough time to go to both parks just because the metro took so long.
Absolutely must read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. So good and a movie is in the making. Read that book first and then tried some of the other Taylor Jenkins Reid books.
Hi Bron! I love Libby, too! I've been using it for forever (like, since around the pandemic started). I really recommend the Falling Kingdoms series by Michelle Rowen. Suppperrr good fantasy series. Amazing job so far and can't wait to see what else is waiting for you in your future. :)
Do you like books about the beach? Joanne DeMaio has a Seaside Saga that is so very awesome! I wholeheartedly recommend it. It has quite a few books in the saga but once you start reading it, I think you will get hooked!
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston!! There's a mystery component to the plot, but it's not a mystery novel; It's a sapphic rom-com with a bi protagonist and it's easily the best book I've read this year 💕💕
Congratulations! I was very happy to read this and so happy for you. You have Disney in your blood and you're so good it. I'm a former CM from a million years ago (1980'S) and like I am huge Disney person (Shareholder, DVC, D23, 33 and a host of others. we met in the park 2018 and again in 2019. Very happy you are back with with company in a role that suites you. All the best in your continued journey with the Company! Wishing you a Happy Wedding!!
I went to Disneyland Paris while on a trip to Paris and it was SO FUN! It was crazy how not crowded it was compared to Disneyland in California. The highest wait we saw all day was only 40 minutes but the rides were so much fun, some similar yet very different. If you eventually go I recommend splurging and getting the Premier Access Pass which is their fast pass because it was very much worth it!
the book i just finished is called one last stop by casey mcquiston! it's a great sapphic fiction and it almost leans kinda fantasy? it's really great!
Congrats on being a cast member again that is such a great job for you! you should read My Year of Rest and Relaxation it's kinda dark idk if thats your thing but I would recommend.
Congrats on all the life updates! I toughly enjoy my Kindle. I had the same problem with not wanting spend so much money on books but also not having to wait for the library books to become available. Kindle Unlimited is great. They have a bunch of up to date books included in the monthly subscription and you can usually get a couple months for free. It’s gotten me to try new genres and new authors that I wouldn’t usually read. ❤️
Love your videos Bron. Great vibes. ...didn't you work at the Rockin Rollercoaster gift shop at Hollywood Studios asking people to become a Jedi? I'd swear I saw you there a while ago. Am I Right? 😀
New to your channel, you are adorable! Congrats on your job! That’s awesome! Random question: where did you get your Minnie Mouse earrings that you wore to Disneyland?
Congrats on becoming a cast member again!! On the book recs: I recently read Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo, which is about two high school seniors figuring out they like girls set in and around the 'telegraph club' lesbian bar in the 1950s. It's a great little book and, as as a lesbian, I think it's one of the better wlw novels out there (second only to the Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith which is so unbelievably beautiful).
