Disney was right on the money when they offered you a position. Your young, fresh and adorable. With an obvious sweet personality. I hope you are enjoying your time as a castmember.
I have a feeling she doesn't work at Disney anymore as her "friendship" with the princess was exposed on at least RU-vid and Instagram as well as revealing the audition process
ArcticFoxesRule11 Ooh interesting. (She looks like she's friends with Rapunzel and Anna from seeing her Instagram pictures and the comments from her friends)
Nicole Costanza. Yea I think so too I'm hoping if I get through auditions (We'll when I get a little bit older) I'm hoping to be friends with Elsa or Tinkerbell or Alice (I look a lot like them)
This has hands down been the most informational/best video I've found so far! I have finally, after months of back and forth, decided to audition! I'm planning on auditioning in December for the same types of roles and couldn't be more excited or nervous! So excited to see what your journey has in store for you and hopefully we'll be co-workers soon ;)
Thank you I'm so glad you found it helpful!! You'll NEVER regret auditioning, but you would regret not auditioning. Auditions are so fun even if you don't get it, and it's even better if you do get cast! Feel free to DM me on Instagram any questions at all and hopefully I'll see you there later in the year! Good luck 💕
+Lauren Blodgett In the future I think I will audition because I've been dancing since I was 3 and I love to sing and dance all the time and I love Disney world. But this gave me so much inspiration. And I just subscribed.
I just checked the website and CRIED because I had been waiting forever for a disney audition in New York and working for disney is my DREAM and they finally have an audition for character look alikes ❤️🌸 came back to this video because I adore you and remember watching this and hoping for an audition and now I got one❤️
Oh my gosh I am so happy for you !!, this is like my dream job. I am sixteen and have been planning to audition for a few years now as it would be a plus in my acting career. This has been such a helpfull video and I am so happy that everything worked out for you and I wish you lots of luck you are the perfect Rapunzel xx
And the experience has come full circle😢 I'm sure there are a lot of people looking back on your journey tonight. Good luck on your new dreams, Lauren💜
I was selected for Disneyland in Tokyo and they wouldn't tell me who I was until I got there-unfortunately I never made it there- but the girl who was meant to go instead of me later told me I was going to be CINDERELLA! Freackin cinders-imagine that! x
You are so blessed girl! I work at WDW MK now which is awesome, but have been auditioning for a face role for what seems like forever now. Ive done 9 auditions and the only reason why I keep trying is that I did get through the first round (based off appearance) at Disneyland (a few years back) and got to apply, so I was on the list, but then never heard back. Since then, I haven't made it past that round. I don't ever give up, but also don't want to keep trying if it's for no reason. Not sure what to do at this point!! Can't do much about my appearance, but I do know I had something they were looking for at one point. Lol . Anyway, congrats on living your dream!
here is a tip for any performances, especially dance and acting... if you mess up, dont make a face! Just keep on smiling and nobody will know you did it:)
Juliana Frith As a dancer, I can confirm that people (especially recruiters or other professionals) will most likely notice your mistake. You’re always supposed to carry on with whatever you’re doing to prove that you’re professional and that you aren’t side tracked by a simple mistake.
As soon as I'm 18 I'm hoping to audition (I'm only 13, but 14 in August). I've been wanting to audition for the longest time and I was scrolling through some audition experiences and this was the best and most helpful video I've found. I honestly can't wait till I'm old enough☺️. Thank you for this super helpful video x
Anna is def your doppelganger. From the looks to the personality. All you're missing is the white stripe. My children have always asked me if i could work at Disney. Because as they put it. "I could be best friends with the princesses." Lol. But sadly I can't because I'm way over the age limit. *Im 31* but if given the chance, i so would. Congrats on being accepted there. Hope they keep you for many yrs to come.
Congrats on your audition! I've been to two auditions but was cut. The experience is still great and you make new friends. It was nice to hear your experience. I go to Disney world all the time so maybe I'll see you. You're going to love Orlando.
I'm so happy for you! This was by far one of the most helpful videos I've watched, and believe me I've been watching them all! I can't wait to be able to audition for Disneyland (I would have already but you have to be at least 18 and even though ! graduated high school, I still don't turn 18 until mid-september! Ugh, oh well!) I am going to think of your amazing advice the moment i get an audition!
Oh I'm so glad I found this video. I've been having mood swing anxiety wondering and worrying what an audition would be like. One day I feel when I go audition, I can and will conquer the world and then other days I feel like 'what am I doing? I won't get through this' Knowing what to expect has helped immensely to bring my anxiety level down! Thanks for the video! 😁
So interesting! I did an audition recently here in Dublin and made it through the process for Disneyland Paris. Currently in their system and hoping to get an email offering a contract soon but just playing the waiting game now. Around 150 people at my audition and only 15 got through.
Just finished the whole video! Wow congratulations! So happy for you. When you did your animation, did you try to be "a good actor" or just super big and animated? Also did you do any "performance faces" during your dance. I grew up dancing and we would change our faces with our dance. So like smiling, open mouth smiling, winking, etc? Or would you just recommend doing one solid smile. Lol sorry i'm nervous haha.
This is such an awesome video as soon as I have also got a part in Disney! i cant say wait i am either but i work at Disney and im so happy you could share your experience mine was nearly the same so that must be a good signs congratulations but the way you must have really blown them away!
She wouldn't be Wendy as Wendy is really small(going along with height things Wendy Alice and tinker bell are the main small ones (I'm going for them on Wednesday!) I definitely think aurora or belle ! X
Hi LAUREN! So excited for your Disney journey to start! Thanks for the reminder that I need tan jazz shoes for auditions on Friday!!!! HAHA!!!!! See u in November (hopefully!)
This was so helpful! I'm can't audition right now but I'm working towards it in the future and this video totally helped me and gave me lots of information. Thank you!
this made me cry im so happy for you!! i just love disney so much, good luck to you for the future i hope you have an amazing time!! and maybe i'll even spot you because im going to disney on october 8th!!
I love this video. Its so informational. I have always wanted to become a Disney cast member and in about three years i can audition and this gives me ideas about going into dance and acting classes. Thanks
Congratulations!!! I'm only 14 but I reallllllly want to work at Disney World as a face character (I think I look a lot like Anna) . As soon as I turn 18 Ill audition. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Do you have to have perfectly straight white teeth too? I currently have braces but I'm getting them off in 1 1/2 - 2 years. I have more questions later on.
I had (and still have) a snaggle tooth when I auditioned and was casted. First time auditioning too! :) Just have "clean" teeth (no food, no visible decay) and you'll be fine!
You're definitely friends with Elsa and Rapunzel, because they were the two they asked you to read for and because you chose to play songs from Frozen and Tangled in the background
I want to audition but I'm kind of scared. Being on your own after you've been depended for your whole life? That's scary! I'd miss my family but I'd learn so much!
You meet sooo many people in the same situation. You end up with a Disney family. :) And believe me, everyone and their mother will come visit you at Disney World!
I think it's awesome that you got the part! I'm 18 too and I wish I could be able to do this. Sadly, I don't live close to Florida or California and I'm going to college this fall. Good luck being a Disney princess you'll enjoy it:)
Congrats💕my guess is definitely Anna. As soon as I clicked on the video the first thought that came to my head was that u look exactly like her lol💕 hope u have a great experience and good luck💕💕
You are so lucky! I really want to audition but I’m curious as to what the dress sizing is like for the princesses. Like what size were you and what sizes did you see there?
Anyone who's shorter than 5'3 would be Alice, a fairy, peterpan, Wendy, or any younger/ shorter character. Anyone on the taller end of the scale would most likely be a villain and people in the middle (5'5, 5'4) would be most likely selected for princesses
My daughter is 13 and really interested in becoming friends with some of your friends as well. What advice would you give her? She is in choir and theater arts in middle school now but not any dance. Thanks!
Your so pretty and it's my dream to audition but I'm not old enough yet I just don't want to move from my family but it's Disney duh! I can't wait till I'm old enough!! Your totally "friends with Anna or Rapunzel"
100 people? I wish! I live in Orlando and the auditions will have like 400 people usually it's so hard to get picked because theirs so much more competition :(
I believe my audition had close to 400. I stood up front and in the middle as often as possible to be noticed. I made it to the last round at the Hong Kong auditions and I was all the way on the side the entire time. I do believe your energy and confidence can take you a long way. :)
Every time I check the Disney audition website there's only auditions for maybe 2 characters. Can anyone show up and be casted as someone else? Are there specific auditions that allow you to be open to anyone like yours or are all auditions the same?
agh, i cant wait to audition... still gotta wait at least four years, but im almost there, lol!! i really want to get the opportunity to play rapunzel (she's my absolute favorite), elsa, ariel, or anna, or a combination of a few of them!! its my dream; this is super encouraging, thank you!! :)
lmao youtube just recommended this for me so I thought i'd drop by and say you're precious and congrats on getting hired at disney (lol) and I'll see you in 2 months for the CRUISE!!
thank you so much for this video!! i live in california and i'm going to audition for a six month contract with hong kong disneyland on may 8 :) i'm so scared but i've been wanting to do this as long as i can remember so i'm really excited!
Congrats! I'm thinking of working for Disney and I wanted to do a full year but I can't move down to Florida . Do you know if they provide housing or if u have to rent an apartment off site?
When I was casted they relocated me for $1,500. I had to sign a one year contract for a full-time character performer position. No housing was provided but I first started by renting a room in a house ($425/month all included) in the Windermere area (behind magic kingdom) and then 6 months later, I moved to a house with other disney cast members I made friends with ($400/month + utilities).
Thank you for sharing this info! I have to ask some things... What kinds of things did you put on you resume? I do not mean to be nosy, but I wanna know if it is necessary to have academic dancing/singing/acting education or you could just have a not known teacher who is really good and taught you the things you need to know... Also, is there any way to practice for the audition? What excersises would you recommend?
I just put all of my theatre/dance/singing experience as well as some academic achievements and work experience. Just basic dance classes would help a lot!
