Hey everyone! This is the full story for the Secret Prison series, I was originally going to have this entire video animated but its looking like that wont happen anytime soon due to the sheer length of the video, when i have the extra money i plan to hire someone to do the animations for me. I hope you like the video, remember to like share! (if you want to) Check out the theme song i made for this story, its called "The Voids" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V2H06YnwHKI.html Check out these narrations at "The Nosleep Radio" on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other streaming sites! anchor.fm/nosleepradio you can also listen to my music on spotify and itunes! artist.landr.com/music/672985861251
@@landypandy2012 haha nah i havent posted this one in a full video yet because i was working on having it animated, if i had known how long it would take i would have just posted this audio video a while ago
Also: one of my fave CP series ever !!!! The longer the story the better !! Love the way you read and how you put emotion into the story. Great work 👌🏼. I need more series !! Lol 😆
I'm a 57 year old grandma of 3. Your talent crosses generational lines. You are such a good story teller, you had me at the edge of my seat for the entire vodeo.
@@doge8825 Yea, He puts life and proper tone in the stories, I've listened to a few stories from Mr. creeps and... The narration just doesn't hit the same, Sounds off. And the thumbnails add a creep factor to the stories, And look really well made
@@jjimjjam1707 for me it’s MCP that sounds off. The rest are tolerable at worst and some like TDS are incredible but Mister Creepy Pasta kinda just feels like he over exaggerates every little bit of action there is. Like randomly yelling your words creates more tension. I will say I loved MCP’s version of Tales From The Gas Station on audible though far more than anything else he’s ever done
@Samantha I am a 54yr old disabled woman. Not a grandma. But I have a 21yr old son who lives with me. TDS is in a class above the rest! Check out Because you are my Baby and Angels aren't beautiful. My favorites 💛
Kale and Hugo are the goats of this story and it's crazy the world building and character development that happens in such a short time, I absolutely loved this story and wished there was a follow up story about what happened after would, as always thank you to mr outlaw and the narrator for this class piece of media
I'm a 60 year old woman, and by God!! This is the best story I've listened to! Kudos to the writer, the narrator is the best! It's the 3rd time I've listened to it!! I can't get it out of my head! Pure perfection!
I found the first part of this story on TikTok and had to come here to finish it. I’ve never been so engrossed by a story. This is something that NEEDS to be animated into a film! The characters are so well done and have such development it really makes me root for some of the voids
@@Noto_cactus I recently listened to a long one by someone else. Some monster fighting club. Was sooo damn amazing, but yeah it is about 6hrs long if I remember right. But damn so good
@@alexglonk9983 Amen to that! Two episodes in and the voids would all be on a bus out of town so we could focus on things that "reflect the modern world we live in", just the thing we all totally look for in a fantasy story.
This felt like watching a movie. I feel like a lost myself in the story. The writer is a genius, the narration gave so much life to the story and characters, this seriously might be one of the best things I've ever heard
Idk how this is a free to watch RU-vid video, this is high production value audiobook level stuff with a kickass cast and amazing story (and sub-stories to boot!) Really wish this becomes a complete multiverse with each character’s backstory being highlighted, and of course, made by Dark Somnium, if there already is such a project underway, would love to help out in any way! Keep up the great work 🙌🏼
When Clint defeated the Warden... After listening to the story where he went to the Warden's prison and escaped... The goosebumps on my body are uncountable.
I flipped out when i heard the warden and the shards part. that's one of my favorite stories and this one to me is a continuation of that. I love this and it's so good.
Lmao, that’s what I thought too!! This is a very damn amazing story, I loved it and hopefully, we get to see a comic/manga adaption of it before an attempt to animate the story is made. It would give many fans an idea of what it could look like and how the fights would play out.
The guy who wrote the story clearly wanted it to be made into an anime and that’s probably why he intentionally made all the characters have specific weights and he converted it to all units. He gave an adequate enough description to depict a detailed enough picture for the animators to create this absolutely amazing story. I’m not an anime fan by any means but I would pay too much money to see this animated. 10/10
I just finished listening to this. I haven’t enjoyed a good story like this in awhile. I desperately need more of Kale. I was rooting for him the whole time
This is one of the hardest narrated stories I've ever heard on RU-vid, I fell asleep with this continuing in my headphones and started dreaming the entire scene like a blockbuster movie!! This is so sickk ima listen to all of them that this creator puts out, thats no doubt! 😮
3M views and 3 years later, this guy still responds to/hearts comments, and narrating the most amazing stories on the internet. Keep doing what you do somnium, i get so excited whenever i see an upload from you ❤
The Undead Nazi sounds utterly terrifying, but to be fair all of the Voids in this story are undeniably horrific. Also, you’re such a good narrator, it really pulls you in!
This is the story that got me into listening to narrators read “creepypasta” type stories and I come back to listen to it a few times a year. Thanks for getting me into the genre!
I heard this story when it originally posted, this was my first "story type video" and spent years trying to find it again a journey that brought me through so many story channels, creepy pasta channels, even true crime channels and finally back to this video, still my all time favorite story. This really made my day at work today
Yeah. I actually hate battle anime and tournament stuff. I struggled through seven or eight episodes of Baki before I concluded I just didn’t like the genre and I found watching op people (or anyone really) battle over and over. I still managed to get through this though oodly enough.
“Morgi the Corgi” was the first indicator, that this story was going to kick ass. Wow. Now that I’ve finished it, yeah. What a spectacular ride. I’m an admitted literature snob and I was blown away. The *stellar* audio engineering and narration brought life to this magnificent story. I’d have paid for this. The fact that it was free to listen to, blows me away. So much work went into this and it shows. Thank you for all your work, DS. It’s obvious that this is your passion. No one could be this good, if it were only about money.
quite late and I doubt people check youtube notifications either way, but I'd also like to day this story acts a Nexus of alot of the Author's major works
I come back in listen to this whole series idk, maybe once every 8 months or so. We absolutely need MORE! More story, more theory crafting, more of anything via this universe. It's like the SCP foundation but for adults, and it was marvelous.
The story is amazing! I love that both metric and imperial system are both included, and the narration is seriously top notch. The way this guy paces this story from passive reading to motivated adrenaline when things get frantic is awesome. Been binge listening to this guy for a few days now. Love this guy's work on stories!
I regularly come back to listen to this. I prob will for the rest of my life. It's such a good story and Dark Somnium is the perfect narration/producer of it.
Lucky the dancing guy was chilled out most of the time, imagine tryin to deal with him if he was on a rampage. Wow i love this story, Bravo. Standing Ovation from me!!!
I put this on as background noise trying to fall asleep. I got hooked in shortly after and made myself stay awake to listen to the full thing. Great narration. Great story. Kael and Hugo were the best. I loved this!
I just happened to come across this scrolling on RU-vid. Pretty good creative writing. Later in the day I played it for some friends. They all stopped chatting & the room was Silent. You had everyones attention. Can't wait to see the characters animated. Looking forward to comparing my Imagination with what they really look like.
I’m not sure if I would want this to be animated. How the story invokes your imagination is part of what I love about it. It makes almost no limit to how amazing the it can be.
My favorite character was definitely the DANCER. Just couldn't stop imagine everyone fighting and then you cut to this dude just breakin it down with no care in the world. The Dancer is definitely the most dangerous and harmless character at the same time!
More like an SCP themed episode of One Punch man... Complete with several episodes dedicated to futilely struggling against a villain who ends up getting instantly and utterly destroyed in a moment of comical anticlimax.
@@mafiaseargent A longstanding collaborative amateur horror writing project about an organization that Secures/Contains/Protects things too dangerous to be allowed out into the world. Each item/thing/creature is numbered and there are hundreds or thousands of them. Its old and well-known and probably influenced any similarly themed idea you encounter.
Ahh the Warden!! I loved this character from that one creepypasta about this guy getting stuck in another dimension! I love how all these stories are connected!
Everyones talking about how good of a story it is, which it is amazing. I just love the fact that 2 of the strongest characters were a dude dancing blissfully to some hardbass, and an astrocoke head.
Coke guy wasn't even top tier, hell, bullets killed him. He only gave them a scrap because they were all tired and put through the wringer. The Kid, the Dancer and the accelerated evolution guy were the highest. The Calamity don't count cuz he's a cosmic horror entity.
@@JamesJames-zv1gx the dancer was such a fun character, I love characters that completely mind their own business to a point where it doesn’t feel right applying morals to them. Man just wants to groove
This is maybe my favorite story to this day and I’ve listened to it over and over again 😭 no other writing has really brought this much action and anticipation to my senses. Tried to find other stories that do something similar but no luck, at least not yet :)
@@ambi_cc8464 I think Hugo got a redemption ark and was about to change his ways and become a Duo with Kale that would fight the crimes around the world. Maybe I think that way because I'm to optimistic about people but it would be cool as hell if it happend. Sorry for my bad english not my first lenguege and have a good day.
Ngl this is probably one of the best stories I've heard. The fact that it's connected to this far larger continuity in this interdimentional is really cool. Though I've been trying to find all the stuff that's connected to it it's been hard considering not all the stories are narrated by just one person and their spread out alot.
@@Darksomnium I'm really looking forward to more content for this series! I'd definitely buy a book or audiobook or whatever you have in mind. The voids are really cool. Also I really like Hugo, just in case a miracle happens 🥰
This is EXTREMELY well written! I’m blown away by the brilliant concise use of language. This isn’t normally something I’d listen to, but the sheer genius, imagination and pace kept me riveted! BRAVO👏🏼👏🏼💯‼️
This is quite possibly one of the best "Government Worker" types of stories I've ever listened to. Whoever came up with all those monster descriptions is a creative genius, I especially like how some of them are just regular people with a weird or disturbing quirk, the dude that summons monsters through portals and the vampire cop dude were my favorites!
Bruh this is deadass an anime at this point. Like can we just have some creepy ass stories without all the JoJos bizarre adventure shit? Not everyone who follows this shit is a weeb
@@mechamahou8467 bruh this is basically just scp but if they all fought. No creepy pastas are really creepy at all you just have to sift through them to find the ones with half decent writing which this one has plus it has great fight choreography.
I am 35 minutes in & I'm loving this. By the title, I'm thinking it's slow horror, tension building. HELL NAH. Literally doors are kicked in & heads are being knocked off. So far this is in my all time top 3 creep pastas. SOMEONE MAKE THIS, like others have said, I'd watch this over again myself. I just finished it & I'm blown away. How us this not being made, sad unless we get fans that make this, it might take 12 years. Remember folks GOT took almost 25 years
Morgi the Corgi " forcing the remaining horrified agents to play fetch with him using a stray arm." That's absolutely poetic, I love it! I wonder who gave him the dog costume.
Totally here for the epic anime feel of this story. I hope it gets adapted one day into a manga, an anime or both. Would consume both happily. Great job with the audio version!
I mean, shit, if they were to catalog everything that happened and sent it to their boss(es) then they just might. I mean the ending of SCP: Containment Breach ends that way, although it _does_ have clues to hinting at the player character actually canonicaly looping to the beginning of the breach upon death like "Groundhogs Day"
This is one of the first stories I listened to after I accidentally discovered there actually IS storytelling on youtube lol.....I could not remember the title or the channel, so have been looking for this for 2 years! I am so freaking happy I found it finally.... Thank you so much for all your great stories..... as long as you're reading I'm listening! Just a thought. If anyone is familiar with a story about a priest that is taking a confession on someone's death bed and things go seriously wrong, could you please post the name of it here in this post I would so appreciate finding that one too
If anyone wants to know more about the Warden and Clint, that’s a part of another story by the same author called “my best friend has been living in an alternate reality” I highly recommend it. The calamity also comes from another one called “The part of the deep web we’re not supposed to see” also great. There are a few others from a couple more shorter stories as well
@@TusharSharma-oi2vt i just finished my friend lives in a alternate reality but if you have listened or read go do it then come back to this clints parts of the story are around the middle i believe part 6 and part 10 once you finish the story about how clint became clint which is the my friend story all of his parts in this one make soooo much more sense and i honestly am so glad i found out from the comments of the first story with clint that this one is connected
@@Stonksman-th9wm i have listened to my friend lives in alternate reality however i had listened to secret prison almost a year ago. I think the one with that singularity blade or something was warden
@@TusharSharma-oi2vt The singularity blade was wielded by the Mechanical Menace, Long Wu. The Warden was the highest Earthquake level Void, and only really exhibited superhuman strength, speed, and durability in his fight with Clint. Unless there's a second fight featuring the Warden, that's all. I haven't actually finished the video yet lol.
@@joeylaure461 that's the point of all no sleep stories is they kind of come off as a real thing and this has such an amazing character structure you can't not feel for every single one causing the immersion almost completely
I ain’t a trucker but I’m an overnight delivery driver and I go for like 8 hours a night. But I’m without a doubt on the same page as you. I just like 2 nights ago started listening to videos like these and they’ve definitely helped with the monotonous task of finding something interesting to listen to
Mate, saw the first 20mins on TikTok and just spent the last 3 hours fixated on this story. You’re an amazing writer. If you every post an update, sequel, prequel or side story, please shout! You’re talented as fuck
Good story, definitely enjoyed it, "frenetically" was used a little too often imo but not a bad sin, the only real issue I had with it was at the beginning he explained that the only reason he was divulging all this top secret info was that he was 90% sure he was dying tomorrow anyways, but then the story ends with him in a relatively safe situation stating that he thinks things will be lookin up
Has this author ever continued the series or have a connected universe? It's just so good and even though things kinda wrap up I'm craving more! Awesome narration! Too bad it couldn't get animated.
Incase you haven’t seen already; a couple comments confirmed a couple other stories by the same author related to this story. Im pretty sure theres a couple of the backstories and a couple other things.
Can’t describe how much these stories and videos make such an impact on me. I’ve never been much of a listener and more of a reader. But the way you interpret stories whether that be through music, ambience, or narrative expression. It’s just plain great. Thank you.
I’ll be honest, I’ve listened to a lot of creepy pasta’s by a lot of channels. And absolutely nobody has the editing that you use in your videos. Even though I’m not ever scared of these other than a fraction of a few times. The music and voices help build the world imo. This is obviously just me and not everyone likes that stuff. I’m just trying to say that I absolutely love how you are handling these kinds of videos from the few I’ve listened to I’ve truly enjoyed all of them and this story is so good I’m glad it’s you who is reading it.
Have you seen the one he does "how i became a god"? I got tearful with that one. That one and this one tie for my favorite of all the stories I've heard from several other creepypastas
hello somnium, i just had to come back to this story after hearing that you are planning to narrate two stories related to this one (my best friend has been living in an alternate reality being my favorite) even though ive listened to this one a few times, it is still my favorite, and one of your greatest works. thanks for bringing these amazing narrations to us, i am so excited to see the projects related to this universe be completed by you!
Right cause some of them like the calamity and even the Chinese robot guy do not sound like a tranquilizer is just gonna knock em out. Plus how did they get exact weight and height. How did they get such random info about each? Like there are so many questions
@@lolhibuddy the calamity was never captured. The calamity isn’t even in the prison if you actually watched the full video you would know that. They only have footage of the calamity, it’s not actually in the prison.
A decent list of some of Mr Outlaw's stories with the same multiverse/characters: 1. My friend has been living in an alternate reality 2. I am a swat officer who was sent to investigates incident at a middle school 3. The part of the deep web we aren’t supposed to see 4. My friends and I tried shooting a found-footage horror movie 5. The local theater recently screened a movie called “Mr. Blank” 6. What happens when two rituals are performed at the same time, in the same building? Nothing good. 7. I’m a guard stationed at a secret government prison. 8. I was contracted to help conceal a UFO crash 9. "I'm a contract killer, my latest target wasn't human"
I have watch this over 10 times in the course of 2 years and i still rewatch its so good bro if this gets animated ill pay any ammount too watch it its sooooo goooddddddddd
Unless it’s the studios that worked on the marvel cinematic universe or the DC Universe at bare minimum, there is no way in hell that any other studio will be able to adapt this story into a movie properly unless they have a heavy budget.
Reclaimed Dead, I think it'd make a better anime. Because of how over the top it is at times animation would suit it better. I'm picturing a mix of Hellsing and Dragon ball Z.
I've never been a fan of first person point of view, purely and simply because poorly written stories have ruined it. And I'm not normally one for supernatural and scifi either, but this is an exception I am so glad I took the risk for. I heard this on tik tok, and one hour in I am loving the story. I love the truce between Hugo and kale, definitely one of mybfaviurite parts of the story, including the fight between the voids
